I thought I tamed the Villain Chapter 5

He was apparently informed by one of the children who ran away first.

Meanwhile, I buried my face in Theo’s shoulder with tears streaming down my face.

[Iris] “I was sorry……..It hurts a lot, didn’t it?”

[Theo] “It didn’t hurt.”

The director soon spotted me and Theo made a loud noise.

[Director] “Oh my god, what was this all about? What the hell happened?”

I couldn’t answer the director’s words and just cried with all my might. I was so sad and embarrassed to see Theo hurt because of me.

[Theo] “Didn’t cry”

Theo’s sweet voice whispered in my ear.

The director punished everyone in the abandoned building.

[Director]: “Get on your knees and hold your hands up for an hour. And never, ever, enter the abandoned building again. ”

Those were the punishments given to us.

I first protested that Theo shouldn’t receive the same punishment as William, but my opinion was simply dismissed. It was because, in the end, he was in such a dangerous building.

He preached to those of us who raised our hands that we should not enter dangerous buildings and that we should not fight with friends.

I was left out of the word that I shouldn’t bully my friend. I kept trying to talk to him, but each time Theo silenced me with a wink.

‘It was a cowardly punishment.’

It felt so unfair. But I couldn’t stand up against the director. Theo looked at me dryly as my eyes looks so sad.

Finally, after a hellish hour, when the director’s sermon was over, we were able to lower the arm we were raising. The director didn’t leave right away and came up to me to talk.

[Director] “Iris. You’ve always gotten along well with your friends and have been nice. What was wrong this time?”

[Iris] “I was just doing a good job by my standards this time.”

At my fierce answer, the director sighed and patted my shoulder. He whispered, looking at Theo behind me.

[Director] “Have you caught any weakness for Theo? Why did you suddenly become friends with him? Iris. You were a great kid. You can’t hang out with someone like that.”

[Iris] “….”

At the director’s cruel words, I reflexively turned my head to look at Theo. But he had already hurried out of the place with empty eyes as if he had already heard everything.

It was an urgent and sad gesture, as if he was running away from something.

I turned my head to the director. He also had a look that was uncomfortable, but he didn’t even correct his words. I took his hand on my shoulder and shook it off.

[Iris] “Director, you shouldn’t have done that.”

[Director] “What?”

I smiled helplessly at the director who looked at me, frowning in embarrassment. His words really, really drained my body.

[Iris] “They were little kids. They were……really mean, but they were little kids. But you were a priest.”

Tears welled up in my eyes. I didn’t know exactly what was so sad, but I was so sad that I couldn’t stand it.

[Director] “Iris, that was not what…”

I knew he would think I was weird because of what I was saying. An ordinary ten-year-old would never say this.

But I couldn’t stand it.

I felt sorry for Theo, who ran away because of his words.

[Iris] “As an adult, don’t hurt a child. To little children, your words mean a lot more than you can imagine.”

I said, looking him in the eye. He saw the tears running down my cheeks.

[Iris] “Please remember. Theo saved me.”

I turned around and started running after Theo.

My breath was caught in my throat. My forehead was covered in sweat. But no matter how much I ran, I couldn’t see where Theo was.

I frowned, stomping my feet in impatience. The sun was already setting.

‘He hasn’t even gotten treatment yet….’

I was worried about Theo, who wouldn’t have been able to stop bleeding properly. Eventually, I had to walk to Ms. Hailey’s clinic to get first-aid supplies.

[Iris] “Ma’am!”

[Ms. Hailey] “Iris?!”

When I opened the door to the ward, Ms. Hailey jumped up from her seat in horror.

[Ms. Hailey] “Who else did you help this time?!”

[Iris] “Don’t worry. This was not my blood.”

[Ms. Hailey] “Besides that, your face was covered in scars.”

I grab her arm as she examined my body.

[Iris] “Please, I need some disinfectant, wound medicine, and some bandages!”

[Ms. Hailey] “What the hell was going on? Where was the injured kid? I’ll treat them myself.”

[Iris] “No way!”

I unknowingly shouted because of urgency.
