I, The Aeon of Trailblaze, Trailblazing the Multiverse

Chapter 31: Let the Heroes from Beyond the Stars Bring Change to This Decaying World

Buzz—

The moment the Astral Express completed its warp jump, the power of the Path of Trailblaze radiated in all directions, instantly filling the entire world with Imaginary Energy, without even needing a full breath's time.

As the conduit of this power, Elias's consciousness spread across the entirety of this world.

Countless celestial systems surged into his awareness.

A three-dimensional map of the entire world formed in Elias's mind.

He raised an eyebrow in slight surprise.

This world was only the size of a planetary system. The countless lights seen across the cosmos were nothing more than glowing asteroids orbiting within. The illusion of boundless space was merely a carefully crafted mirage.

Though not truly vast, compared to some of the smaller pocket dimensions he had encountered before, this world was significantly larger.

In his mind, the projection of the world rapidly shrank, condensing until it became a mere dot

A single point on a newly formed map, which he named the Trailblaze Star Map.

At this moment, the map contained only three points.

The first and brightest was at the very center—this was the Star Rail universe, the "home universe," vast and radiant.

The remaining two points were dim and minuscule, almost imperceptible.

Even a world as expansive as the Highschool of the Dead, spanning the size of a galaxy, appeared no more than a grain of sand within the immeasurable vastness of the home universe.

A faint line connected the two dim points back to the central universe.

That line represented the Silver Tracks laid by the Astral Express, linking the explored worlds to their point of origin.

A faint smile tugged at Elias's lips—he had grown stronger again.

More precisely, his reserve of Imaginary Energy had increased.

This world had now become part of his exclusive domain.

After experiencing two successful interdimensional journeys, Elias had begun to discern certain patterns.

If a world's total power level was lower than his own as a Aeon, then the Path of Trailblaze would instantaneously assimilate the world's foundational logic.

The underlying structure of the world would be rewritten, aligning with the fundamental laws of the Star Rail universe.

It almost seemed as if Trailblaze was the tentacle by which the Star Rail universe absorbed and assimilated foreign worlds.

However, these worlds belonged solely to him, his personal domains.

The Star Rail universe itself did not claim them, nor did any other Aeons have control over them, unless they chose to reside in one place, like Fuli, creating their own exclusive domain.

As long as I continue exploring and assimilating other worlds, even without adding new Path concepts, my Imaginary Energy reserves will keep growing.

If I were to explore a world equal in scale to the Star Rail universe, the surge in my power would be astronomical.

Shaking his head slightly, Elias dismissed the thought.

The number of Path concepts dictated the upper limit of his power; there was a cap to how much energy a Path could contain.

The concepts of the Path were like a cup, and the Imaginary Energy was the water it could hold.

His current Path of Trailblaze had a maximum capacity of a Dual-Universe.

Right now, his power was still at a Low-Universe, meaning the cup was far from full.

"Ahhh—this is such a headache, there's just no room to squeeze in!"

Aha's exaggerated sigh echoed from behind, sounding thoroughly disappointed.

He had just attempted to peek into the secrets beyond this world.

But aside from witnessing the recent spectacular scenery, he felt nothing.

Upon entering this world, Aha had tried to extend the influence of the Path of Elation along the tracks of the Astral Express.

However, it ended in failure. The Path of Trailblaze had to pave the way first.

It was an unsolvable issue—after all, the bridge to this world was built through Trailblaze.

While the Path of Elation couldn't follow through, Aha's own power hadn't diminished in the slightest.

If he wished, he could easily assimilate the entire world in an instant.

However, the consequences of doing so would be severe.

His dear friend might kick him off the train, and boarding again in the future would be out of the question.

In the pursuit of visiting more worlds, Aha wouldn't make such an irrational move.

"Ahahahaha~ So interesting, it's too interesting!" Aha suddenly burst into laughter, as if he had come into contact with something fascinating.

"This world is so small, yet my gaze cannot penetrate that thin veil and see what's beyond! What lies outside?"

No matter what method he tried, the moment his power passed through that layer of thin film, it would instantly turn to nothingness, dissolving all existence.

This was even more nothing than the Path of Nihility—it was truly incomprehensible.

Back before he had become a Aeon, he had already breached the outer walls of the universe and climbed high into the Imaginary Tree.

He understood well what lay beyond the cosmos.

Originally, he thought that the Path of Trailblaze granted the ability to freely traverse the infinite universes in the Imaginary Tree.

But now, it seemed that was not the case.

Instead, it granted direct access to travel between the Imaginary Tree and the Sea of Quanta—an entirely different cosmological concept.

The power to transcend universal frameworks.

This wasn't just a miracle—it was something beyond miracles!

Aha's gaze toward Elias changed drastically, his eyes practically gleaming with anticipation, and his hands instinctively rubbed together in excitement.

...

"So we arrived this quickly? I thought it would take a long time, like a starship jump," Herta stepped up to the window, her expression calm as she observed the planet outside. Deep in her eyes, however, was a strong thirst for knowledge.

Planets were nothing new to her; she had seen plenty before.

What intrigued her wasn't the planet's ecosystem or its strange lifeforms—she wasn't Ruan Mei, after all.

She was more interested in the unique physical constants of this world, the planet's special magnetic fields, and its anomalous energy readings.

"I thought it would take longer too," Silver Wolf muttered, rubbing the small bump on her head and hissing in pain.

"Every time the train warps, it's just whoosh, and we're here. You'll get used to it," March 7th was already gearing up with her personal equipment.

"So, next up is our adventure, the journey of the Nameless."

"I'm so curious about what kind of adventures await us. Are you guys excited?"

Elias smiled, his tone filled with anticipation. "This journey will surely be fulfilling for everyone. You might gain a lot, but you may also feel downhearted or disappointed."

"When that time comes, just do whatever you want—go all out and show your true potential."

Because this world had once left him depressed for a long time.

It even drastically changed his outlook on life.

This world is called—

Akame ga Kill.

Let these heroes from beyond the stars stir up a storm in this corrupt and decadent world.
