Chapter 669: 669 Bocchi The Rock Interlude: Trip to Tokyo, Conquering the In-Laws, Bocchi At Home and A World Full of Brutality.

It was a good day with sunshine and a few clouds drifting slowly across the sky. No one would suspect such a peaceful world was about to receive a visitor beyond comprehension.

A drop...

The sky rippled slightly as two figures emerged—Allen, holding a pink-haired, blue-eyed girl in his arms.

Bocchi gazed around with curiosity and anticipation, though they were still too high to confirm if this was her world.

Their entry wasn't violent or flashy; it wasn't necessary. The Allen of now could arrive without causing major problems. His eyes scanned the city below.

"We're in Tokyo, Japan, specifically in the Shimokitazawa area..."

Hearing Allen's words, Bocchi trembled. That was precisely where she lived. Her hands clutched Allen's clothes—she was happy to be back but also afraid. It had been years since she left this world. She didn't know if her parents had suffered because of her disappearance, or if they had already forgotten her.

Allen had promised to return her to the exact moment she left, but first, he needed to confirm what day it was to be able to rewind time.

"Bocchi, don't worry. Even if I have to punch God himself, I'll restore this world to how it was always meant to be..."

Bocchi's anxiety eased under his words, like a soothing balm. It was true—she wasn't alone. She didn't have to face reality without support.

"Thank you..."

Bocchi's voice came out naturally, without stuttering or trembling. Now nineteen, she was no longer the socially anxious girl who had left this world. She would prove herself strong for what was to come...

"Allen-san, let's go see my parents..."

Bocchi had made her decision. Allen nodded approvingly at her determination, then disappeared and reappeared over Tokyo, this time closer. The vast sprawl of skyscrapers and urbanization made it clear how massive the soul of Japan was.

....

(Shimokitazawa)

Allen landed softly in an alley, gently setting Bocchi down. She was trembling slightly, but no longer needed confirmation—she could feel in her soul that this was her world.

Once they stepped onto the street, they found calm yet relatively lively avenues, with a more relaxed atmosphere. Shimokitazawa was a neighborhood less crowded by tourists, making it quieter despite being in Tokyo.

Looking around, they saw second-hand clothing shops, vinyl stores, modern cafés, and bars with an artistic flair.

"It's a nice place," Allen said with a smile.

"Yes!" Bocchi answered with joy. Despite being a shy person, she appeared freer now, looking at the familiar shops that once gave her anxiety but now felt like an oasis in the middle of a desert.

Gwen – Tokyo, huh... I've always wanted to go there, but as a dedicated student, I don't really have time to travel.

MJ – Really?! Then don't you ever ask Allen to take you for a stroll through Venice's canals, or to Paris for dinner on the weekends?!

Gwen – Huh?! What are you talking about?!

Felicia – I want to know too...

Natasha – Oh, so while her poor mother is killing herself at some soul-sucking office job, my dear spends her time with her boyfriend traveling the world...

Tearju – That's actually pretty unfair...

MJ – Wait, before you kill me, at least let me explain!

Diana – We're listening. I've already waited three hundred years, one more day won't make a difference...

MJ – Before giving excuses, let me just ask: why don't you all do it? I mean, my boyfriend can go anywhere in the world in a second, so why not ask him to take me on a date once in a while?!

The girls fell silent—none of them had really thought about it.

Allen – In my defense, I did suggest it a couple of times, but no one paid me any attention...

Allen coughed, breaking the awkward mood of the Chat and returning to reality.

Bocchi pressed her face to the glass of a guitar shop, eyes wide with nostalgia.

"Ah..."

The different districts of Tokyo each had their own identity.

In Akihabara, you'd find otaku culture (anime, manga, video games) and electronics. In Harajuku, alternative fashion, kawaii culture, and youth trends. Shibuya was all about youth culture, nightlife, and modern trends. Ginza stood for luxury shopping, high fashion, and elite dining. Odaiba brimmed with technology, entertainment, and seaside views. Yanaka offered history, crafts, and a retro atmosphere. Tsukishima was known for Japanese cuisine, especially monjayaki and sushi.

And of course, there was Shimokitazawa—where Allen had landed.

This neighborhood was famous for its alternative music scene, record shops, and live music venues. Shimokitazawa was an iconic place for rock culture in Japan, making it the perfect birthplace for the legend of Bocchi the Rock.

Bocchi stared at the many shops, and Allen, of course, didn't stop her. But she wasn't being entirely honest—part of her was stalling before going home.

Allen walked up and took her hand.

"Allen-san?!"

"Hitori, I already know the exact date, and it's not far from the day you said you left this world. But if you feel insecure, I can rewind time."

Bocchi felt the warmth of his hand, which not only gave her comfort and support, but also courage.

"Allen-san I want to see my parents and Futari. If they're well, I wouldn't dare take away the time they've lived, but if they're devastated... " Bocchi squeezed Allen's hand tighter.

"I understand." Allen nodded.

....

It was a day like any other in the Goto household as they prepared for dinner.

Naoki Goto, a simple, thin middle-aged man with tired eyes, read the newspaper while wondering when the next "Asian Kung-Fu Generation" concert would be.

Michiyo Goto, a middle-aged woman with pink hair tied up in a bun, was chopping vegetables while narrowing her eyes at her husband, silently warning him not to spend more money on concerts this month.

Futari Goto, a twelve-year-old girl and Bocchi's younger sister, played with her little dog in the other room.

They were a classic Japanese family, having a normal evening—until the doorbell rang.

Michiyo stopped chopping vegetables and went to see who it was. But the moment she opened the door, she was tackled by a pink-haired shadow that hugged her. Michiyo nearly screamed until a familiar voice called, 'Mom!'.

"Hitori?!"

Michiyo's mouth fell open in shock. In front of her wasn't her gloomy, skinny daughter, but a girl around nineteen or twenty, almost her height and with a striking figure. Yet the moment she saw her, Michiyo felt a pang in her heart and hugged her back without knowing why.

"What's going on, Michiyo?!" Naoki rushed out at the commotion, only to see his wife hugging a young woman who looked eerily familiar. Beside her stood a strong, charming young man with such a handsome face that the man stood still for a moment.

"Sis?! What happened to you?!" Futari ran out with her puppy, immediately recognizing Bocchi but also shocked at her grown-up appearance.

The puppy, Jimihen, ran to Bocchi to sniff her, then over to Allen, who crouched down and petted his head.

"No way, Jimihen's near a big brother without barking?!"

Despite his small size, Jimihen was very protective of Futari and Hitori. But this time, he even let Allen pick him up.

"What's going on, Hitori?" Michiyo was confused. This girl was clearly her daughter, but not her daughter.

"Mother, if you'll allow me, I'll explain everything..." Allen said with a smile that instantly made the mother, the older daughter, the little sister—and even the puppy—blush.

"Wait!" Naoki stepped forward, instincts screaming danger. "I don't understand anything, but I won't hand my daughter over to you!"

....

(Fifteen minutes later)

Sitting at opposite ends of the dining table, Allen and Bocchi faced the Goto family.

Michiyo had a complicated expression, a bead of sweat running down her cheek. Futari clutched her puppy, not understanding a word of what had just been explained.

Naoki, the father, sat with arms crossed and a deep frown as he tried to process it all.

"So let me get this straight. My daughter fell through some kind of wormhole that took her to another world, and for three years she traveled the multiverse with you—fighting cosmic entities, gods, and demons."

Allen calmly sipped the cup of green tea that Bocchi's mother had offered him. Then he looked at his would-be father-in-law with a relaxed gaze. "Well, that about sums it up, Father."

"Dad, it's true..." Bocchi said nervously. She hadn't expected to have to convince her parents of everything she had lived through, but when she thought about it, it did sound like an absurd fantasy from the perspective of common sense.

"As if I'm going to swallow such nonsense!" Naoki slammed the table. "And stop calling me Father! First of all, what kind of relationship do you even have with my daughter?! I told you, I won't hand her over to you!"

"Dad, that's wrong, we don't have that kind of relationship..." Bocchi blurted out, blushing furiously. She then looked at Allen, silently begging for help.

"We don't?" Allen asked, confused. "That time you kissed me wasn't because you liked me?"

Bocchi froze. Her mother covered her mouth with a soft "Ara~," Futari burst out laughing at her Onee-chan, while Naoki turned red with fury.

Bocchi lowered her head. She loved Allen—had even confessed during the first Void incident—but her embarrassment had stalled their relationship.

Allen smiled like a slick insurance salesman, then suddenly appeared beside Naoki, throwing an arm around his neck with the closeness of an old friend. "Of course, I know I can't win Father's trust that easily. But I did put a lot of effort into getting a few gifts for my girlfriend's parents..."

Naoki growled, "Kid, some meat buns won't make me hand over my daughter's buns!"

"Dad!" Bocchi nearly fainted from embarrassment, and even her mother started to get annoyed.

"Well, well, don't say that before you see what I brought."

Allen's grin widened, and with a flourish, he made a guitar case appear out of nowhere, leaving the entire Goto family speechless.

"What?!" Naoki gasped in disbelief.

"Yeah, it's magic!" Futari cheered happily.

"Don't tell me this is all true?!" Michiyo looked at her daughter. "Is she really my Hitori?..."

Allen opened the case, revealing an electric guitar. Bocchi's father had a thousand questions, but when he saw the beautiful instrument, he gasped.

"A Fender Stratocaster?" he asked, his voice trembling.

"Yes. As expected of a rock lover. I couldn't help but notice your dog's name is Jimihen—must be short for Jimi Hendrix, right?"

Bocchi's father stared at the guitar, but even more at the signature on it. How could he not recognize the autograph he had studied thousands of times before? For any rock fan, Jimi Hendrix's autograph was a generational heirloom.

The man caressed the signature, then looked at Allen with tear-filled eyes. "Is it... Izabella?"

Allen smiled, placing a hand on Naoki's shoulder. Then he pulled out a certificate of authenticity.

At this point, Bocchi and Michiyo, who also knew music thanks to Naoki, widened their eyes in disbelief. This was a guitar worth two million dollars—a museum piece. No, for a rocker this guitar was invaluable!

Naoki read the document, along with the signature of one of his idols, before standing and hugging Allen as if his son had returned safe from war.

"My son!" Naoki cried.

"Stop!" Bocchi, unable to endure it any longer, screamed in embarrassment. Michiyo, who saw her daughter do so, opened her mouth, while little Futari didn't understand anything and just kept eating an orange.

"Of course, I didn't forget about mother and my little sister." Allen winked at Bocchi's mother and little sister.

At that moment, the door opened and in came Bocchi—another Bocchi—a younger one in a school uniform, dead-fish eyes, and a tired face, carrying a guitar case.

"Huh?"

Allen, who had been smiling as if everything had gone according to plan, froze as he stared at the second Bocchi.

"What's going on?" asked the sixteen-year-old Bocchi in fear.

"Shit…" cursed Allen. This was Bocchi's world, but not her universe. It was like one of those many Spider-Man.

....

"So, um, she's me?"

Inside young Bocchi's room, Allen once again sat down to explain everything. However, it didn't go well; in just twenty minutes, young Bocchi had suffered three anxiety attacks, fainted, and even convulsed once.

Bocchi couldn't believe how fragile her younger self was. She actually felt embarrassed remembering her first year with Allen.

Bocchi – I was like that?!

Nokotan – What are you saying, Bocchi-chan, you're still like that~

Bocchi – No way… I was braver… I think… maybe I just dreamed it and convinced myself it was true!

Esdeath – Stop teasing her, reindeer. Bocchi, don't worry. It's true that at some point you were like that girl, but now you're different. You've matured… besides, look at that skinny thing, how could she compare to you?

Bocchi – You're right, I'm not the same. I can talk to people more now, and besides, I've grown up!

"Uryaah!" Bocchi was so filled with confidence that she literally started transforming into a Super Saiyan. The floor began to tremble and the walls cracked.

"Ahhh! What's happening?!" Young Bocchi panicked until Allen stopped her by placing his hand on her head.

"Don't worry," Allen winked with a half-smile, and young Bocchi blushed. Never in her life had she thought she'd be so close to such a handsome and cool young man. From the moment she felt his hand, a warm sensation washed over her, banishing her fear.

Allen looked at Bocchi and sighed. "Hitori… your powers…"

Hearing Allen's voice made Bocchi stop. It sounded absurd, but this girl actually had the power to make her imagination real. Of course, it had its limits, but in general, turning into Godzilla or unleashing ki wasn't impossible.

"Ah, sorry!"

Bocchi immediately stopped and began apologizing. The Goto parents, who had been peeking through the door, were in shock—not only did their daughter no longer suffer hallucinations accompanied by constant anxiety, she also seemed to have magical powers or something.

"Incredible!" Futari ran in and pounced on Bocchi. "Big sis, big sis, can you fly?"

"Well… something like that…" Bocchi felt happy having her little sister admire her, even if it wasn't the Futari she remembered.

Young Bocchi watched with a somber gaze as her other self smiled while playing with Futari. She felt strange. She herself couldn't even talk to people without looking away, she was afraid of speaking too loudly and bothering others, she was afraid of so many things, pessimistic to the extreme, and severely lacking in self-confidence.

'I'm jealous…'

It was her own face, her own voice, her own body… was it? Bocchi looked at her nineteen-year-old self and felt she was missing so much, both physically and mentally.

"What are you thinking?" Allen ruffled her hair.

When Bocchi looked up, she saw Allen smiling at her.

"You don't have to be jealous. That Bocchi is you," Allen smiled with certainty. "If she can do it, so can you… trust yourself."

Young Bocchi's eyes widened. Never in her life had anyone believed in her that much—not even her parents. When she had brought Nijika, Ryo, and Kita to her house, her parents hadn't believed her friends were real. They thought she had imagined them.

"T-thank you"

The girl blushed, and for the first time, she felt curious about the relationship Allen had with her other self.

....

After the commotion, Allen and Bocchi stayed for dinner, and the atmosphere turned warm. Still, Allen knew there was no point staying in this universe, since this place wasn't Bocchi's universe.

Even so, Allen, the dolls, the Chat, and Bocchi herself were curious about the life of the Bocchi who had stayed behind.

She was basically the same Bocchi, but at some point, she had been forcibly recruited by Nijika Ijichi, who made her the guitarist of her band, Kessoku Band. At first Bocchi didn't want to, since how could she perform in concerts if she could barely talk to others without having a panic attack?

And yet, somehow Bocchi managed to play—maybe because she had gotten tired of her past self, or maybe because Bocchi, also being quite lazy, didn't want to work and looked for a way to earn money while doing the only thing that made her happy: playing music.

Bocchi, standing next to Allen, looked at her younger "self" with appreciation, even if she failed—she was at least trying to change.

Bocchi told them about Ryo Yamada, who was always asking her for money, and Ikuyo Kita, who was like the sun, so dazzling she made her melt just by being nearby. Not in a weird way—literally, Bocchi melted when she saw her shine. She also spoke about Seika, Nijika's sister and the manager of STARRY, where Bocchi had performed in public for the first time.

Allen – Seems we arrived a little after the beginning of the story.

Gwen – So Bocchi already had her first concert, so to speak. Too bad we didn't see it.

Eve – Even while being reserved, Bocchi is very cute.

Allen smiled as he listened to this Bocchi's life. However, they couldn't stay—they had to go.

....

Bocchi's parents hugged her.

"Sweetheart, I know you'll find your family," Michiyo said, crying. She wasn't her daughter, but she was, and she couldn't imagine how much Bocchi had suffered.

"Allen, please take care of her," Naoki said seriously. "I'm sure her father would say the same."

"Don't worry, Mr. Goto, I'll protect her with my life…" Naoki's eyes widened. In this era, seeing a young man like Allen was impossible—a youth who had faced all kinds of dangers, the kind that only existed in stories and fantasies, yet still stood firm for his loved ones.

"You're a good man. Do me a favor and call me Father…"

"Dad!" both Bocchis shouted in embarrassment.

"Thank you, Father."

Naoki blushed. "Wow, you really are a charming guy. No wonder my daughter fell for you."

Young Bocchi crouched, hiding her face, while Bocchi hid behind Allen, insisting they leave already.

"Take care, sis!" said Futari, hugging Bocchi's legs.

"Thanks, Futari." Bocchi patted her head.

The system opened a door in front of the Goto family's stunned eyes. If there had been any doubt before, now everything was clear—the absurd story they had heard was true.

"See you then," Allen said as he walked toward the portal.

The young Bocchi stepped forward: "Are you coming back?"

Allen smiled, "Of course, I'm interested in hearing the legend Bocchi La Rock play, so don't give up until you get to the top..."

Bocchi smiled sincerely, "I will!"

"Haha..." Allen laughed softly.

"I'll try my best," said Bocchi to the younger Bocchi, "I know you can too."

"Thank you!"

Allen paused for a moment...

He didn't know if they should try to find Bocchi's universe, but he had no way of knowing which one truly belonged to Bocchi.

They could jump across a thousand universes and only find different versions of her.

"For now, let's go back to Marvel…" said Bocchi.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

Bocchi also understood the situation and didn't make things harder for Allen.

With that in mind, the two crossed through the door that should have taken Allen back to Marvel.

But this time, it was different. Bocchi was forced back into her doll form and stored in the inventory. Allen didn't have time to think; he felt his destiny had been altered—something only one person could have done.

"Lucifer!"

Their peaceful moment was short-lived, as fate pulled Allen into another world.

....

Allen awoke with a splitting headache. He sat up, realizing he was wearing white prisoner-style clothes.

"Ahhh!"

Allen heard screams in the distance—wherever this place was, it wasn't pleasant. He leaned against a wall, opened his interface, and reconnected the livestream. Even the livestream had been cut off.

Before Allen could speak to his Chat, he heard footsteps approaching. It really was some kind of prison.

Peeking out, Allen saw two men in white dragging a badly injured man wrapped in bandages.

"Subject 27 endured more than I expected, but he refuses to eat. At this rate, Bane will kill us. We have to feed him somehow," one of the men said.

"We should feed him through a tube directly. If he dies, we die."

"Bane?" Allen's eyes widened.

Batman – I see… you're in an alternate universe.

At the mention of that name, no one remained indifferent—especially Allen and Batman. The question was: which universe was this?

The two men arrived at the cell next to Allen-sama's and tossed the man inside.

"Hey, can I talk to my lawyer?" Allen said with a mocking grin.

"Shut up, Twenty-Eight. Your turn will come soon…"

Allen stayed silent. Though he could leave if he wanted, he was curious about what kind of story was unfolding.

Once they were gone, the unconscious man suddenly stood up as if nothing had happened. He adjusted a couple of bones and rose to his feet.

He was enormous, muscular to an abnormal degree. Allen, watching him through the wall of his cell with magic, was left stunned before grinning.

"What happened to you, Bruce?"

Bruce froze and stared at the wall with piercing, almost murderous eyes.

"Who are you?!" His voice carried brutal force as veins bulged across his muscles.

"I see…" Allen said, shaking his head as he sat back down. "Out of all the Batman, I had to run into the one with anger issues…"
