CHAPTER 344: The Descent of the Eternal Gods

In the outside world, nearly an hour had passed, yet the Boshi Tower still stood tall. This realization caused Jeros to frown.

It was clear now—Moonfiend had failed.

“Trash is trash!” Jeros cursed under his breath, his frustration boiling over. He turned to look at the ominous Blood Demon Gate behind him, his gaze searching for the next step of the plan from the Desolate Demon Lord.

The Desolate Demon Lord’s voice came, calm and measured. “Forget about that broken tower. The guest is about to arrive.”

As soon as these words were spoken, Jeros’ expression darkened.

Far in the distance, two figures tore through the sky, moving at incredible speed toward Xuanshui City. Their velocity was astonishing, approaching the speed of light itself. When they neared the city, the leading figure suddenly shifted from extreme motion to extreme stillness, stopping in an instant.

Seeing this, the second figure also came to an abrupt halt.

As they came to a stop, their faces became visible.

The figure trailing behind was dressed like a scholar, wearing glasses and exuding a scholarly aura. This person was none other than Shufang, Jiu Han’s disciple.

At that moment, Shufang’s breathing was noticeably labored. Whether it was from the strain of the journey or from the lingering effects of the injuries he had sustained three years ago was uncertain, but his condition was clearly not ideal.

From his current position, Shufang could see the ominous Blood Demon Gate looming over the landscape, its presence casting a dark shadow over Xuanshui City.

Sensing the dense demonic qi emanating from the other side of the Blood Demon Gate, a trace of unshakable worry appeared on Shufang’s face, furrowing his brow.

“Teacher has already rushed to the front line, but Xuanshui City has been invaded by the Ancient Demon Clan. The key issue is that Little Junior Brother, the disciple Teacher values the most, is still inside the Boshi Tower…”

As he spoke, Shufang sighed heavily. “How am I going to explain this to Teacher?”

He glanced sideways at the man standing in front of him.

The man was tall, towering at three meters, his silver hair marking him as a member of the Eternal Clan. His muscles bulged, radiating explosive power.

Hearing Shufang’s muttering, the man snorted coldly and said, “Whether your little junior brother survives depends on fate. Don’t count on me! As for how you’ll answer to Old Man Jiu Han, that’s your problem.”

“I only know one thing…”

“These demon cubs, none of them will survive this time!”

Faint lightning surged from the man’s body as he stared at the Blood Demon Gate, his gaze filled with violence and murderous intent.

“You dare to sneak attack us? Do you really think my Eternal Clan is powerless!?”

Even Shufang, who was on the same side, felt a chill from the intensity of the killing intent radiating from him. Shufang knew that when this man spoke, he would follow through with his words—without hesitation.

This man was one of the three gods of the Eternal Clan, the Heavenly Execution Star, Huang Ti!

The strongest member of the Aeonians was undoubtedly the Eternal God known as Eternity. Below him stood two of the clan’s guardian gods: the Lord of Time and Space, Wicky, and the Heavenly Execution Star, Huang Ti.

No one knew for certain who was stronger between Wicky and Huang Ti, but it was clear that Huang Ti’s ruthlessness and decisiveness far surpassed Wicky’s. To put it simply, Huang Ti had strong fists and a singular, unyielding mind.

When Xuanshui City was attacked, news had quickly reached the Heavenly Capital. The Aeonians couldn’t simply sit back while their heartland was under assault.

Huang Ti had immediately descended from the mountain, heading straight to Xuanshui City. Shufang, who had been recuperating at the rear, hurried to follow out of concern for his teacher’s hometown.

The two advanced again and soon reached the edge of the Blood Demon Gate.

Suddenly, a voice echoed from within the Blood Demon Gate.

“Huang Ti, long time no see,” came the voice of the Desolate Demon Lord.

Hearing this voice, Huang Ti grinned like a ferocious beast baring its fangs. “Believe me, this will definitely be the last time we meet,” he growled, completely ignoring Xuanshui City. Without another word, he crossed the Blood Demon Gate, charging straight toward the Ten Thousand Devil Abyss!

Behind him, Shufang sighed helplessly. Directly confronting the biggest enemy on the other side… this was Huang Ti’s way, reckless and impulsive as always.

But Shufang couldn’t afford to be so careless.

As his gaze drifted to the Boshi Tower, Shufang raised an eyebrow, surprised that it hadn’t fallen yet.

Then he looked toward Jeros.

Their eyes met, and hostility sparked in the air.

Yet, surprisingly, both sides restrained themselves.

Jeros broke the silence. “Waiting?”

Shufang thought for a moment, then nodded lightly. “Then let’s wait.”

◆◇☣◇◆

When Lu Ming’s figure appeared again, he had already arrived at the entrance to Jiu Han’s Research Lab inside the Boshi Tower.

The Boshi Tower was not only Jiu Han’s divine artifact but also his residence and sanctuary. At the top level of the tower lay Jiu Han’s personal quarters—his bedroom, study, research lab, and even the main control room of the Boshi Tower.

In the past, this place had always been off-limits to others. While Jiu Han had never explicitly forbidden Lu Ming from entering, out of courtesy and respect, Lu Ming had never set foot here.

“But today, Disciple has no choice but to make an exception.”

He stood in front of the door and bowed slightly, as if Jiu Han himself were standing there. Only after this respectful gesture did Lu Ming activate the power of the main control array in his hands and open the door to the research lab.

A vortex appeared before him. Lu Ming stepped into it, feeling a brief wave of dizziness. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself inside a pure white room.

The room was decorated with numerous array patterns—completely independent of the Boshi Tower’s main array formation system. These patterns functioned to isolate perception and were incredibly strong. This explained why, until now, Lu Ming had been unaware of the secrets hidden in this place. Even with his mastery of the 2,380th-level Dao of Array Formation and his control over the Boshi Tower’s arrays, this room had remained impenetrable to his perception.

It was here that Jiu Han had studied the path of the Outer Dao God.

After scanning the array patterns carefully, Lu Ming’s gaze was drawn to an experimental platform at the center of the room.

The platform was covered in intricate arrays. Each array had its own function—defense, sealing, x-ray vision, analysis—making the setup dazzlingly complex.

Lying peacefully on the platform was a figure, a two-meter-tall man with green skin who appeared middle-aged. His chest rose and fell slightly, indicating he was still alive. From the faint power emanating from him, Lu Ming could tell that this man was in the Divine Realm.

But something else stood out—a familiar aura.

After focusing his perception, Lu Ming finally realized why this presence felt so familiar.

“This is the original power source of the Boshi Tower… It’s also the source of my Divine Origin points.”

In the past three years, Lu Ming had accumulated a staggering seven-digit number of Divine Origin points. The sheer size of this figure had always raised a troubling question in Lu Ming’s mind.

Could I have drained teacher Jiu Han dry?

It was a daunting thought. He remembered that when he had received Divine Origin points from God Jing(the God from the Flame Clan Ruins), the amount had only been a few dozen. Granted, God Jing had been gravely injured and far from his peak, but the gap between what Lu Ming had drawn from God Jing and what he had gained through the Boshi Tower was astronomical.

Could Jiu Han’s innate Divine Origin possibly be hundreds of thousands or even millions of times that of God Jing?

Whenever Lu Ming had broached this question, Jiu Han would merely smile and offer no explanation.

But today, as Lu Ming gazed at the man lying on the experiment table, answers began to form in his mind.

He slowly approached the figure, who was named Qing Jue, and stopped in front of him. Lowering his head, Lu Ming’s attention was drawn to a miniature array near the man’s head.

There, a faint, golden ball—slightly wilted—came into view.
