Chapter 32: Chapter 32— The Plan to Transform Mars

Chapter 32 — The Plan to Transform Mars

Arthur lay on the massive body of Black Maria, feeling the warmth and steady heartbeat of the giant woman beneath him. Ever since the idea of creating his own world had taken root in his mind, sleep had become impossible. Excitement and determination coursed through his veins, fueling a restless energy that kept him awake late into the night. His mind was a whirlwind of possibilities and strategies. He began to search deeply through his thoughts for the exact powers he needed to devour in order to transform the arid, lifeless Mars into a vibrant and prosperous world.

He thought of the power of the Wood Fruit — the one capable of creating lush vegetation and infusing life into barren lands. Then, the power of fire came to mind, a force capable of melting glaciers and warming the coldest corners of the planet. A thought struck him:

"If only there existed a world that held all these powers, I could simply gather them and unleash them on Mars. The planet would recover naturally."

Arthur chuckled quietly, amused by the sheer impossibility of such a scenario.

Then, a wild, nearly insane idea struck him like lightning:

"Why not make Mars eat a Devil Fruit?"

If it could consume the Human-Human Fruit, maybe it would gain consciousness — and with its own thoughts, it could help him build the planet. Furthermore, Kid's Magnetic Fruit would be essential for the planet to control its magnetic fields, melt glaciers, create volcanoes, and reshape the surface with unrelenting fury.

Arthur knew this plan wasn't entirely absurd. In One Piece, countless inanimate objects had eaten Devil Fruits and gained unimaginable powers. So feeding Mars these fruits wasn't so crazy — there was a real chance it could work.

As he pondered, Arthur also remembered the incredible power of Atom Eve from the Invincible universe — a woman who could manipulate atomic energy on an incomprehensible level. He realized that mastering this atomic control was absolutely essential to reshaping Mars. Controlling atomic forces would allow him to heat or stabilize the planet's core, accelerate chemical reactions in the soil and atmosphere, and alter the molecular structure of materials — all to create a habitable environment.

Of course, such power would require tremendous resistance and strength — something his Viltrumite heritage granted him, with its legendary durability and remarkable regenerative abilities. That strength would enable him to endure the immense energy surges needed throughout the complex terraforming process.

Combining atomic energy manipulation with his Viltrumite physical prowess might very well be the key to finally molding Mars exactly how he had long dreamed — turning it into a living, protected, and dynamically thriving planet.

Closing his eyes, Arthur began vividly imagining each Devil Fruit and how its unique power could contribute to his ambitious plan.

Mori Mori no Mi — The Wood Fruit

"Cover the planet with lush forests, create and nurture life, renew oxygen, and bring vibrant colors and hope to the landscape."

Arthur remembered this fruit was once wielded by Ryokugyu, the Marine admiral known for his extraordinary control over plants and nature. With its power, he could transform Mars' rocky and desolate surface into lush greenery, ensuring the survival and flourishing of countless species.

Hie Hie no Mi — The Ice Fruit

"Conjure and control ice to form glaciers, frozen rivers, and balance the planet's temperature."

Originally possessed by Admiral Aokiji, this fruit would allow Arthur to manipulate the cold Martian environment, storing water as ice and shaping breathtaking frozen landscapes, while keeping the planet's heat in check.

Magu Magu no Mi — The Magma Fruit

"Release fire and magma to heat the planet's core, forge volcanoes, and melt polar ice caps."

This fearsome fruit belonged to Akainu, the relentless Marine admiral who commanded magma. With its fiery power, Arthur could ensure Mars had enough geothermal activity to maintain an ideal and habitable temperature.

Bari Bari no Mi — The Barrier Fruit

"Create impenetrable barriers to protect the planet from external threats and harmful radiation."

Used by Bartolomeo, this fruit would be perfect for surrounding Mars with a protective shield — a cosmic defense against meteors, solar flares, or invading forces.

Suna Suna no Mi — The Sand Fruit

"Manipulate sand to create deserts and control soil erosion."

This fruit belonged to Crocodile, the infamous captain of Baroque Works. It would allow Arthur to effectively manage the arid regions of Mars, crafting balanced desert ecosystems and sculpting the planet's surface with precision.

Moku Moku no Mi — The Smoke Fruit

"Manipulate smoke and clouds to influence weather patterns and camouflage terrain."

This fruit belonged to Smoker, the Marine captain. Arthur could use this power to generate protective mists and cloud coverage, altering Mars' atmosphere and promoting a more hospitable climate.

Gasha Gasha no Mi — The Assembly Fruit

"Grant the ability to merge and control inanimate objects."

According to Douglas Bullet, this fruit was vital to Arthur's plan. With it, he could merge with Mars itself, gaining control over its structure — terraforming, rebuilding, and creating the world he had always dreamed of.

Yuki Yuki no Mi — The Snow Fruit

"Control snow, creating cold, mountainous biomes."

Used by Monet, this fruit would diversify Mars' climate zones, allowing the formation of snowy regions and majestic mountain ranges.

Arthur also remembered other fruits that could be useful for specific roles, such as Fujitora's Gravity Fruit, to regulate weight and atmospheric pressure; Ace's Fire Fruit, to increase heat and spark natural wildfires; and even the Swamp Fruit, used by a secondary character — helpful for managing wetlands and marshy areas.

When he opened his eyes, Arthur's expression was one of unwavering determination.

"These are the powers I need," he whispered to himself. "Each one has a unique role, a vital purpose... Together, they will transform Mars into a vibrant, living, protected world. Now I just have to hunt them down — and yes, find a World Tree to evolve the planet even further. But man, I need to return to the Invincible universe to acquire Kate's duplication power to help me search the pirate world for these fruits. Even with my power and speed, this is an impossible task to do alone. I still have a lot of work ahead."

He smiled softly, feeling the weight — and the honor — of a mission far greater than himself.

The path wouldn't be easy, but he was more than ready to walk it.
