Chapter 11: I reincarnated as one of the Three Stooges in a fantasy world
Chapter 11
Sunheart Technique
The Sunheart Technique is a mystical and advanced technique created by the god Apollo. It serves as a bridge of compatibility, allowing someone without natural affinity for solar magic to resist, absorb, and eventually manipulate this type of energy, which is normally destructive to unprepared bodies.
Solar magic is the manifestation of the sun's pure energy—extremely hot, intense, and relentless. It is considered a divine magic, requiring a body prepared to withstand the heat and magical radiation of the sun, and a soul synchronized with the sun's "frequency" at the heart.
Without compatibility, a mage's body attempting to use solar magic will literally be burned from the inside out.
The technique works in three main phases, each gradually activating the user's magical adaptation process:
First: Internal Incandescence – Fusion with the Solar Spark
The user concentrates their mana in the center of the chest (magical heart) and generates a constant core of heat, creating an artificial inner sun. This simulates the effect of solar magic on a small scale.
The body begins to gradually adapt to high magical temperatures, training its mana channels to withstand more aggressive energy.
Second: Soul Synchronization – Accord with the Solar Spirit:
The user enters a state of meditation or intense combat where their soul must endure a trial of pure sunlight.
If successful, they acquire a trait of affinity: Solar Resistance or Solar Conductivity. Then the soul begins to change, becoming receptive to the divine nature of the sun.
And finally: Radiant Heart – Partial Solar Convergence, which is the most dangerous stage, where the user permanently fuses their mana with traces of solar mana. If they survive, their "Magical Heart" begins to vibrate at the same frequency as solar magic.
From this point on, they can use basic solar spells without self-destruction. The higher the magic circle, the greater the control and the lower the risk. If done before the Eighth Circle, the risk of internal explosion is extremely high.
The technique does not grant immediate total mastery, only partial compatibility. The user still needs to train solar magic, and it requires iron will, as the pain of adaptation is said to be like having your heart burned every day.
---
"I can only acquire it at the Eighth Circle, so tell me why you gave me such a technique now?"
[Because I thought it was cool.]
Several veins appear on Enrico's face.
[Calm down, calm down—I have one more thing.]
"What is it?"
[It's a deal—or maybe a pact is a better word. You can make one for every two arcs completed in the original story.]
So I can ask for something in exchange for something else?
[Halfway.]
"What do you mean?"
Enrico looked at the system with confusion.
[Every two arcs, you get to choose one and I choose the other, and they have to approve the pact.]
'I think you should give these people a name so you don't have to keep repeating "they" all the time.'
[Alright then. Let's call them the Constellations.]
"You've been reading manhwa, haven't you?"
The system stays silent for a few seconds.
[Anyway, since this is the beginning, the Constellations have allowed us to advance one arc—just this once.]
Enrico lay down on the bed. If this is really possible, he would have to think carefully about it.
'Maybe with this, I can keep up with the main characters.'
[As I said, the pacts must be approved by the Constellations, but since this is the first pact we're offering, it will be something helpful for you.]
A screen appears in front of Enrico, and as he read, he raised an eyebrow.
"This might not be much, but it would help a ton. And since they offered it, I'll take it."
Enrico smiled excitedly.
---
A door opened and Kai entered his dorm room, sitting on his bed thinking about Enrico's words.
"He's right… but where do I find something like that?"
And then he remembered that his father left him a journal before he died, but he had never managed to open it.
He starts rummaging under the bed and pulls out the gray journal, trying to open it again, but it still won't open.
"Why won't it open?"
He rests his head on the journal and feels a deep frustration.
"I lost so easily… Is the difference between me and Enrico really that big? And what if the others are even stronger?"
He begins to doubt if he's strong enough, but then the journal seems to change, and Kai looks at it, now completely white.
"What?"
When he opens it, he immediately begins to read.
"Hero's Swordsmanship"
Kai looked at the journal with a determined gaze, turned on the light, and planned to read all night.
'I will not fall behind.'
In another place, the student council president was researching Enrico.
"I thought he was useless. Has he been pretending this whole time? If that's the case, I'll have to change my plans."
She closed the book and looked out the window, seeing Valença sitting under a tree with a sad expression.
"Looks like she won't be useful. If she gives up because of this, then she doesn't deserve my attention."
Elaris sat back in her chair and looked at the dark sky.
"If it's to save my country, I'll ally with anyone who has the potential to be one of my warriors."
---
The next day, Enrico was eating a lot of food before Professor Borem's class began.
"I managed to lose 8 kilos in these two weeks, but now I have to eat and train at the same time to get the most out of the pact."
[So you're going to keep it like this for a while.]
"Yes, I'll keep this pact for now as a secret weapon, but it's a shame I can only use the pact once."
[But it benefits you forever.]
"I know, but that benefit is only for the first one, like you said. Anyway, I have to start strengthening other characters to survive in the future."
Since Chalés's death, he's been worried about the future—Chalés was someone who could eliminate an evil god even if it meant sacrificing himself, while the other characters, aside from the protagonist and the strongest one, couldn't do anything.
But I know of characters with potential that was never fully used, like the rank 1 of the first year, who had more potential than Kai but gave up after being defeated by him.
That was shown from above as a difference between the two—one is a prodigy who, when facing their first defeat after being the best their whole life, gives up, and the other is someone who keeps going no matter what.
And besides that, thanks to the system showing the characters' stats, he was going to search for those who never appeared in the original work—in fact, even those without potential, he plans to strengthen so they can be useful in the future.
"Besides that, I have to try to evolve as quickly as possible, even if the potential of this body is below average and I might die before obtaining the Heart of the Sun. What a damn mess."
Enrico kept eating when he saw the four he had called arriving. 'They're here.'
Tolen came from one side and sat at the table, and on the other side were Serenya, Elian, and Caelan.
"Why did you call me, Enrico? Do you want me to teach something new?"
"Subordinate, I wanted to ask a few questions."
Enrico looked at the four. If talking about potential, Serenya was the best, but the one most prepared was Tolen.
"Very well, first, thank you for coming, leader."
Serenya smiled with her nose up.
"If my subordinate needs me, I'll come."
"And second, yes and no, Tolen. I invited you all to train the five of us together."
The four looked surprised while Enrico smiled.
"Interesting, a training session? Can I join?"
The four looked behind Enrico—Tolen even more surprised, and the other three narrowed their eyes. Enrico turned and saw—
"President?"
Elaris looked at them with a beautiful smile.
