[Slugs, now’s the time]
Everyone get up and scatter into every streamer’s chat participating in Lightning Metropolis. Then start yelling, “Free Magia!”
Hype the sentiment however you can—we have to save Tia if we ever want her to appear on Magia’s stream again!

There were scattered protests after Tia was captured, with people opposing her execution.

But they were shut down.
“RP is RP.”
When the server ends, the RP ends too—Magia had repeated that more than enough.

Not that Slug Squad ever really listens. Still, there was always this small fear that if it were Magia, she might find a way to block them all out.
In the end, Tia stood on the execution platform, just as scheduled.
“Ugh, lame. A firing squad?”

“What were you expecting, exactly…?”
— lmao fr
— girl wants too much lol
— If you’re caught, just go quietly~
“Come on, there’s plenty! If I had the choice, I’d want to die with one of my favorite bombs. Heeheehee.”

— ?
— lol
— ??
:: An anonymous donor has sent 1,000 Clouds! ::
:: I'm Magia and yeah this checks out ::
:: An anonymous donor has sent 1,000 Clouds! ::
:: But like, isn’t sending a bomber out with a bomb… an honorable death? ::

— fr lol
— You can't actually do that tho lol
— “Honorable death,” they said 😂
As donations and chats flooded in, Youngun shook his head and said:
“You can’t let someone die with the thing they love most. You know why they used to bury people with their favorite things in ancient times?”

“I don’t care!”
“It’s so they could enjoy those things in the afterlife. That’s why. So no, we’re not sending you out with a bomb.”
— makes sense
— yeah
— true true
“Still, a firing squad… kinda lame.”

“Oh? Then how should we kill you?”
Magia was soon onboard a plane with Youngun.
Execution by being tossed from the skies above Lightning Metropolis. That was the chosen method of her death.

“Ugh, this is even lamer.”
“That’s exactly why I picked it. Any final words?”
The plane sped through the sky. Standing at the edge, not even holding onto the railing, Magia said:

“By the way, this plane is rigged with a bomb.”
“Huh? A bomb?! I didn’t bring a parachute!”
“Yeah, figured as much. I thought, wouldn’t it be fun if I did a tandem dive with the citizen rep? Heehee! Just picture it: boom, together!”

— lol
— even at the end
— She’s never going quietly, huh
Panicking, Youngun shouted back to Kim Cheol-soo (Mugeon) in the cockpit:
“She says there’s a bomb on the plane! Cheol-soo, do you have a parachute?!”

“Parachute? No. I didn’t pack one.”
“Ah, crap—then what do we do?”
Mugeon sighed and muttered under his breath:

“Seriously, still falling for that? It’s obviously a bluff.”
“Huh?”
While Youngun was pressed against the cockpit, Magia had already finished prepping her jump.

One foot suspended in the air—
She flung herself into the sky and shouted:
“Idiot! A city led by a citizen rep like you is doomed to collapse someday! Kyahaha!”

Whoosh.
Like she’d been hurled by some invisible force, Magia’s body was flung out of the chopper.
She quickly shrank to a dot and vanished from view.

Youngun ran over to where she’d stood, staring long and hard in the direction she’d disappeared.
Finally accepting that Magia was completely gone, he turned to Mugeon in the cockpit.
“She’s gone.”

Only then did Mugeon relax his expression.
The stern look he’d had since the beginning of the mission finally melted into a smile.
Youngun asked:

“You… look kind of relieved?”
“Feels like I just dropped fifty pounds off my back.”
“Why? You got some kind of personal grudge against that little brat?”

— lol
— lmao
— He kinda does tho
— ahaha
— I mean, why wouldn’t he?
— 😂😂
After a pause, Mugeon replied:
“Dunno. I just couldn’t stand the way she talked.”

***
The Next Day.
As Lightning Metropolis prepared for its grand music festival, crowds began to make their way toward the stage on the beach.

Naturally, this led to a rare spike in taxi demand.
While many people owned cars, a large number still opted for public transport or taxis over driving themselves.
Which is how, for the first time in a while, taxi driver Ma-deari picked up a passenger—and that passenger was none other than Pin0.

The moment her name popped up, chat exploded.
— LOLLLLL
— What the hell
— Why’s she here
— How’d she get out??
— ??
— Why’s she roaming around alone lmaoooo
— Where are the cops lol
— 🤨?
— How’d she escape again?!
Magia leaned over to address Pin0, seated in the passenger seat.

“Aren’t you Red Hood? Should you really be walking around freely? Should I call this in?”
“No, it’s fine. I was released legally.”
As soon as she said that, two figures shoved their heads through the driver-side window without warning.

Most people would’ve jumped, but Magia calmly rolled down the window.
“What’s the matter, Disgraceful Duo?”
“Hey! Don’t call us that!”

“Yeah! We’re both team leads now. And we don’t even duo anymore.”
“Wow, congrats on the promotion, Disgraceful Duo.”
“Ugh!”

— lmaoooo
— She's totally doing this on purpose
— Classic Magia, top-tier button pusher 😂
Breathing heavily, Orca spoke to Magia.
“Pin0 has a day pass. The new Commissioner and Citizen Rep both signed off, so you can drive her where she needs to go.”

“Aha.”
Luna circled around the front bumper to address Pin0 directly.
“You’re wearing a GPS-tracked pair of cuffs right now, okay? So don’t get any funny ideas. Your location’s being monitored in real-time.”

“Got it!”
With that, the two officers left, leaving Pin0 alone in the taxi.
A brief silence followed before Pin0 spoke, cautiously.

“I’m sorry. I couldn’t protect your sister.”
Magia tilted her head at that.
“What are you talking about? Sister?”

“…?”
— ?
— Huh?
— Wasn’t it Ma-deari who passed messages to Tia? Isn’t that how Tia knew all that stuff?
— Wait, she’s not her sister??
— 🤨?
Pin0 looked confused as she asked:

“Your sister went through something terrible recently… you didn’t know?”
Magia, still frowning, reached into her pocket and pulled out a photo.
It showed a smiling girl—Tia—posing in front of a carnival ride. Radiant in a flower-adorned white dress and straw hat.

The kind of image that screamed innocence and sweetness. A far cry from the Tia who had been joking around with Pin0 just yesterday.
“I’m sorry, but my sister died five years ago. I don’t know what you mean by something terrible.”
“Huh…?”

“She was five years younger than me. Died in an explosion when she was twelve.”
Tia’s face and name had been fully revealed after her public execution. And she looked nothing like Ma-deari’s little sister.
Clutching her face, Pin0 whispered:

“Then… the Tia I spent the last three weeks with… who was she?”
Like she’d been haunted, Pin0 hunched forward, mumbling to herself.
This can’t be.

Was that Tia fake?
Then who was I even talking to?
“Did something happen?”

“Ah, no—it’s nothing. Sorry. I shouldn’t have said anything weird.”
“No, if it’s about my sister, I think I need to hear it. Did you see her?”
Had a ghost really appeared?

Or was this just a huge misunderstanding?
‘But if it was a misunderstanding… how did Tia know all the information Ma-deari had?’
She had to have moved the money and items in the beginning, too. Wasn’t that how she launched the Tia RP?

There was no way she imagined it all.
Unable to deny what she’d seen herself while stalking Magia, Pin0 pressed again.
“Is it possible… that your sister is actually alive?”

“That’s absurd.”
“But I saw her myself!”
Magia gave her a long, steady look and asked:

“You really saw her? You’re certain?”
That gaze lingered for so long that Pin0 finally leaned back in the seat and gave a small, resigned smile.
She could tell, more or less, what Magia was thinking.

Right now, Magia’s eyes were saying,
“There’s more to this, but pretend you don’t know anything for now.”
“No… I must’ve been mistaken.”

“Good. Keep forgetting. That’s for the best.”
But even Pin0 couldn’t just let it go. The entire city now knew the name Tia. It wasn’t something she alone could choose to forget.
“Still… everyone saw her face. Someone out there will remember.”

Magia just shook her head, unconcerned.
“Peace has this funny way of making people forget.”
“…”

“Give it time. Most won’t even remember she existed.”
Staring out the front for a while, Pin0 then turned back to Magia.
“Driver, can I ask you one thing?”

“Go ahead.”
“It might be a painful memory, but… what was Tia like, before the accident?”
Magia paused, then smiled.

“There’s not enough time for that now. The festival’s about to begin.”
“Ah…”
“If we ever meet again, I’ll tell you then.”

Viewers were stunned. After all that build-up, and now she says “next time”?
— ??
— Seriously why
— Stopping mid-sentence is literally the most infuriating thing
— AAAAAAGHHHH
— Oh we’re doing Season 2 now huh
— lmfao
— Nooooooo
— bruh 😂😂😂
— So what WAS she thennnnnnn
— screechingggg
— MAGIA YOU BITCHHHHH
— lololol
— you absolute [redacted]
* * *

After dropping Pin0 off at the festival…
Around two songs in, Magia received a new call.
Probably someone just starting their RP, or maybe a player returning to the server late after hearing about the festival.

“Hello, this is Ma-deari, fast and dependable taxi service.”
[Greetings! My name is Irada. I heard there’s a wild festival in this city and I’d love to join. Are taxis still running?]
Anyone who’d ever watched Magia’s streams would instantly recognize that voice—booming with bravado, over-the-top energy, and an incredibly lazy RP name.

It was obviously Darami.
She must’ve gotten her hands on an RP expansion ticket to create a second character.
— ?
— bro this is so cheap
— what is that name lmaoooo
— it’s literally Darai flipped 😂
— omg we meet again??
— did she snag an expansion?
— can she name a character with some effort PLEASE
— lolololol

Considering the massive viewer numbers Darami had pulled during the Lightning Metropolis arc, it probably wasn’t hard to afford that expansion with all the donation spam.
Magia chuckled and replied:
“Yes, we’re running. Where shall I pick you up?”

[Ha ha! Much appreciated!]
That superhero-style laugh. Chat was wheezing—
Until they saw where the pickup location was.

— wait a sec
— no way
— ISN’T THAT WHERE…
— omg omg omg omg omg
— IT’S THAT PLACE
The exact spot where Ma-deari and Darai had first met. Where the Red Hood saga began. A symbolic and unforgettable location.
“Hop in.”

Darami appeared again—this time with a male RP. And not just any male, but a hulking superhero physique.
“Ha ha! Much obliged!”
— WTF 😂
— She went even harder this time
— Honestly, this ability to come up with chaotic RPs is a skill
— SUPERHERO BODY PLS 💀

“Shall I take you to the festival grounds?”
“Indeed!”
“Alright. I’ll get us there quickly. We’ve already missed about three songs.”

“Thanks!”
Technically, it was their “first” meeting again—but both of them knew exactly who the other was.
And besides, the server was nearing its end.

Streamers were starting to drop their RP personas, sharing heartfelt goodbyes at the festival.
So Magia asking a slightly personal question didn’t feel out of place.
“The first passenger I ever drove was named Darai. Funny—you have the same name, just reversed.”

“Kuhaha! Really? What was he like? I’d love to meet him someday.”
“He was cheerful. Dreamed big… and somehow made those dreams come true. He really surprised me.”
“Oh! Sounds like a remarkable person.”

“He was. Truly.”
“…Is that so?”
Maybe realizing the RP was cracking a bit, Darami cleared her throat.

“Ahem. I see?”
“Anyway, this feels like fate. I won’t charge you for the ride.”
“Ha! Much appreciated! It’d be rude to turn down such generosity!”

Later, the two walked side by side through the festival parking lot.
Magia turned and asked quietly:
“So, how was it? Did you enjoy Lightning Metropolis?”

Darami grinned wide, flashing her teeth.
“I had an amazing time! One I’ll never forget!”
