I Married a Ghost After Transmigration

Chapter 16: Chapter 16: Find a High Monk to Conduct a Ritual for Your Salvation

In her memory, Feng Yueya had seen the Sect Leader only once, and that was at the once-every-three-years grand assembly of the entire Huayang Sect.

However, at that time, she had stood at the very back, gazing through a long line of people toward him on the high platform, only catching a blurred glimpse of his figure.

It seemed that the Sect Leader was a very young man, appearing to be only in his twenties, and it was said that his cultivation had reached the Sword Saint Level, the highest within the entire Huayang Sect.

It was also said that he was extraordinarily handsome, the object of admiration for all the females in the sect.

Although she wasn't sure whether this was a bit exaggerated, what Feng Yueya did know was that several of her senior sisters greatly admired him.

Feng Yueya admired him too, but only for the speed of his cultivation.

She pursed her lips in great envy, thinking that at just over twenty, he had reached the Sword Saint Level, and who knew to which level he had ascended during this period of closed-door cultivation.

The next step up would be the Sword Emperor.

Whenever she thought of the Sword Emperor, Feng Yueya couldn't help but glance at a certain ghost sprawled on the table.

That ghost, always lying there, staring at her while she cleaned the room by herself without offering the slightest bit of help.

As a Sword Emperor, with just a flick of his fingers and a bit of mana, he could have made the room spotlessly clean.

Yet, he did not even bother to help her with this small task, which was downright stingy!

To express her strong dissatisfaction, Feng Yueya deliberately swept the floor vigorously under his feet and occasionally hit his body with the broom.

Well, even though she couldn't actually hit him... she could at least vent her anger.

"Yue Yaya, you seem very angry?" Yun Shangyuan propped himself on the table, cradling his head with one hand as he tilted his head to look at her.

"Hmph, you're asking even though you know!" she retorted.

"Why are you angry?"

"Why won't you teach me cultivation!" Feng Yueya threw down the broom, glaring at him furiously.

He had already reached the Sword Emperor Level, would giving her, a junior, a few pointers kill him?

"Yue Yaya, who says I won't teach you cultivation. You're the one who doesn't want me to teach you," Yun Shangyuan said with a tone of aggrievement, yet a mischievous smile played on the corners of his mouth.

"Who asked you to make unreasonable conditions? If you were a little more generous and taught me how to improve my cultivation, I would definitely find a monk to rebirth you through prayers so you could reincarnate sooner rather than later, instead of wandering the earthly realm like a lonely, wild ghost."
