Chapter 1385: 19.44 Second Red Star - Visitors
Planets close to the battleground were impacted by the Eternal Ice's utter coldness following the failure of the Hive Star's attempt to subjugate humanity. A portion of these stars that are livable have experienced freezing. Included in them is the Federation Star. They were less powerful than the other worlds as a result of the deaths of their commanders and warriors.
After being impacted by the cold of Eternal Ice, the star of the human race underwent a significant transformation. For millennia, Eternal Ice has been a divine substance. Everything was permanently frozen by its aura alone. As a result, the planets it affects will experience perpetual winter. That was the fate of the Federation Star.
Whether there is karma or not, there will be an unending winter at the end of this human star.
A thick layer of white snow covers the ground. The typical stunning, snow-white landscape has turned into a nightmare for the Federation Star's inhabitants. Never again would the news of the human fleets attacking the Hive star surface. Those left behind on the Federation Star only learned of its outcome through reports from the Interstellar Information Center.
The human fleets that attempted to attack the Hive Star had all vanished. Not even the ones who had infiltrated the battlefield survived. In this fight, the Heretic Zerg Tribe was also destroyed. The rumors regarding the Zerg Race had also been cleared up by the Interstellar Information Center. They gave an explanation of their lifestyle and eating habits.
It can be claimed that vegetarianism is practiced by the majority of residents of the Hive Star.
Many others were skeptical of this news when it first surfaced. They were astounded when a handful of these planets' leaders followed the IIC personnel and observed the conditions inside the Hive Star for themselves. Upon entering the Hive Star, the visitors were shocked by the ethereal scenery on this planet. The Hive is surrounded by more land than water.
with abundant greenery and flower gardens, this planet is more like a sanctuary.

The Zergs that call the Hive home are free to move about and take on the forms that suit them best. Thus, a large number of their insect forms are carelessly moving or crawling around. Halflings who departed from the Federation also reside in the Hive. Their way of life is entirely different from that of the Federation.
They could live a normal life as long as they were not afraid of those Zergs because at least here, they were on an equal footing with the other Zergs.
The market's abundance of flowers and lush vegetables, however, startled the guests the most. A small quantity of meat from pigs, cows, and other animals that are consumed by humans is available for purchase. These foods are typical cuts from cattle. At these kiosks, most zergs purchase baskets of flowers and veggies, while a select few, like spiders and mosquitoes, purchase flesh and blood.
You could say that meat is not considered a delicacy here.
There are also some royal guards hanging some red banners as if they are celebrating something.
One of the visitors approached these royal knights and asked, "Lord Knight, can I ask why you are hanging banners? Is there a festival or something?"
"You guys... Oh, you're the visitors from the Interstellar Information Center. Sorry, we failed to welcome you. As for these banners, it's indeed a festival. The Zerg Emperor ordered us to make preparations for the celebration. Our Zerg Empress is about to be born."
"Zerg Emperor? Zerg Empress? Not Zerg King and Zerg Queen?"
"Well, they are our former King and Queen, but since they completed their evolution, they've become Emperor and Empress. Our Emperor had awakened his Monarch Butterfly Bloodline. It was thanks to him that the Hive and our Empress were safe."
"Maybe you guys didn't know that during the invasion of the Human Race, the Heretic Zerg Tribe also attacked, taking this opportunity to take over the Hive, but the Zerg Queen protected us. Then a Human God comes over; we don't know where he comes from, but even though our Zerg Queen was helpless at that time, it was then that our Zerg Emperor awakened and saved his mate."
"Our Zerg Emperor is so powerful. He had to fight not only the Heretic Zerg King but also that Human God. If not for his protection, our Hive would be no more."
"Hey, what are you doing? We still have a lot to hang out in the city. Get your ass back here!" The leader of the royal guards said.
The Royal Guard that was caught lowered his head and bid farewell. "Leader, wait for me. I still want to hang banners!!"
The staff from the Interstellar Information Center looked calm when they heard the news. "Hm, it seems that I need to visit the Zerg Emperor to make sure this news is real." He turned around to see the other leaders of the other planets looking speechless.
"Surprised? Hive Star is actually one of the most beautiful planets in our universe. You see those flower gardens. Those are farms. That's what they usually eat in this place. As for the livestock, there is also a small ranch for them, but compared to the flower and vegetable gardens those can be counted with one hand."
"Do you still believe this race eats humans? Only the Heretic Tribes do that."
It is believed that the Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress never existed. The Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress are the bug race's protectors, if there is a human god who rules the human stars. They are as strong as gods, and many other races feared and revered them because of their might.
All races, with the exception of the Beast Race, with whom they are associated, detested the human race for breaking the covenant of all races in order to assassinate the former Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress.
After the Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress vanished, the insect race was internally corrupted and grew weaker. This corruption was only stopped when King Augustus and Queen Titania assumed power. However, his personality deteriorated as though the Zerg King had altered his soul. The Hive would have long since vanished if not for the Zerg Queen.
Who would have imagined that the Zerg King would resurrect his Monarch bloodline and transform into a Zerg Emperor? Furthermore, it appears that Queen Titania changed following Augustus. After these two are born, it appears that the bug race will undergo significant changes.
The first person the Interstellar Information Center employees encountered at the Throne Hall was Cid Warlock, the Crown Prince, when they requested a meeting with the Hive's higher authorities. He was well known to all because he was once a prominent member of the Federation. The former hero of the Federation Star. They were baffled as to why he was made crown prince.
The fact that Colonel Cyril and Marquess Conrad were leading him and standing next to him suggested that his destiny as the Zerg King had already been decided. Now, under this couple—direct servants of the Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress—he was receiving training for both his political and physical acumen.
Colonel Cyril said, "Your Highness, this one needs to be signed before the end of the day."
"Please leave it on the table," Cid Warlock said while holding a few piles of papers that needed his stamp and signature. He looks haggard, with black circles under his blue eyes, yet he doesn't dare to stop his hands.
Behind him, Marquess Conrad was looking at his watch and suddenly said, "Take a break for an hour. Afterwards, prepare for afternoon training, Your Highness."
"Can I eat a bit before training, teacher?" Cid Warlock asked.
Marquess Conrad nodded his head and said, "Eat within an hour as you rest. We will go to the training ground after that." He looked at his wife, who gestured for the servants of the palace to serve the food.
"Send the food in!"
A royal guard went in and reported, "Your Highness, Lord Silver, Colonel Bailey, and people from the Interstellar Information Center had come for an audience."
Cid Warlock, who just held a chicken drumstick in his hand and was about to bite, helplessly put the chicken down and gestured to the guard.
"Let them in!"
"Yes, Your Highness!"
Someone had come in from the outside. The Interstellar Information Center representative bowed to welcome Cid Warlock. Reluctantly, the elderly men and ladies behind him followed the leader. However, Cid Warlock motions for them to cease their actions.
Cid Warlock said, "A simple greeting would be enough. Seniors, this one is only a Crown Prince. I haven't reached the same position as a Senior. Please don't be too polite."
The old guys looked satisfied with the reply from the young man. After all, compared to Cid Warlock, they've lived hundreds of years, while the crown prince hasn't even reached a hundred years old.
"Your Highness is good. It's just a greeting."
"Your Highness is bright and friendly. This old man was satisfied."
"That's right. Your Highness is the future Zerg King. I hope to get along."
Cid Warlock nodded with a polite smile, as he knew these words were indeed only greetings.
"Can I ask seniors why you have come to see this prince?" Cid Warlock asked.
The one from the Interstellar Information Center responded, "We from the Interstellar Information Center would like to clarify a few things. Would it be possible to ask an audience with the Zerg Emperor?"
"This..."
Upon hearing this, Cid Warlock didn't respond right away. That couple's position is above him, and he couldn't give an exact answer regardless of the Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress. He turned around to look at his teachers. Only to see Marquess Conrad nod his head.
Obviously, the Zerg Emperor was already informed ahead of time the moment the visitors arrived. Marquess Conrad contacted his master through the subsystem and had the two systems inform Augustus about this. As expected, they requested an audience with Augustus Kaiser. The Zerg Emperor gave his approval to the audience, which is why Marquess Conrad gave this young prince a nod of permission.
Cid Warlock nods his head and turns his head to look at the group of visitors. He stood up and brought some chicken with him, hiding it in his sleeves. His two teachers turned a blind eye to his actions and followed him down the throne.
"The Emperor agreed to your request. Please follow me; I will bring everyone to the Emperor," Cid Warlock said.
The main palace's ruin was where Queen Titania's cocoon was found. Escorted by Marquess Conrad and Colonel Cyril, Cid Warlock brought the guests to this location. Much had changed in the great palace, now in ruins. This area has been transformed into a tiny flower garden.
There are soft grasses all over the place, and a few vines with budding flowers are scattered here and there. In the middle of this exquisite landscape sits a white, silky cocoon twice the size of a typical human.
The sight before the guests was so breathtakingly beautiful that they were unable to take their eyes off of the enormous cocoon, which was occasionally moving slightly and making heartbeat noises.
Sadly, they were unable to get close to it since the cocoon was being guarded by a dashing man with enormous orange wings. They felt like they were under constant pressure from those purplish-red eyes, as though an oppressive aura was hovering over them. Luckily, they avoided looking into those terrifying eyes directly, or else they would instantly pass out.
As soon as Cid Warlock, Colonel Cyril, and Marquess Conrad saw Augustus Kaiser leaning on the cocoon, protected by his wings, with his eyes slightly open yet looking down on the blooming Lily of the Valley nesting his feet, they'd kneeled.
"We greet the Zerg Emperor!"
"You may stand," Augustus Kaiser said as the three stood at the side, waiting for further command, and left the place for the visitors.
There are countless meanings for this flower, the Lily of the Valley. It also had the beautiful meaning of 'You've made my life complete.' The God of Void plans to give this kind of flower to his Jing'er when he wakes up. Flowers are the favorite food for their butterfly tribe. This flower can be said to be a gift and a food.
"I heard you wanted to meet this Emperor."
Augustus Kaiser didn't meet the eyes of these visitors. None of the visitors complained, as their instincts were telling them that meeting the eyes of the Zerg Emperor was a bad story.
