I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

Chapter 444: Taken

The history of the East was dark as it is. They had perished by the hands of the darkness in the past and now, history was repeating itself. First by the hands of the Forsaken, now at the hands of Malice.

"We can't let that happen," Elliot boldly stated. They were being transported back into the real world since Sheeva's flashback had already ended.

They were inside a large tunnel where their bodies are being pulled to one side forcefully. Although it was the case, their bodies didn't hurt not one bit.

"We must fight for the East," Lance added. "They might say that this is not our Land, but this place is still part of our realm. What's more is that we have the power and capabilities to help them fight for their land. If we don't help, we're no better than Malice and her warriors."

"Right," Elliot said. "Zeus, please tell us you're on the same page. We need everyone to work together."

"Are you kidding me?" Zeus said, suddenly his tone was serious. This made Elliot to gulp hard. "Of course, we'll help. You were the one who said it. We're no better than the attackers if we don't help. Besides, it was our mission anyway. The elites of Avancia were sent here to defeat Malice, and that's what we'll do."

"Thank you, Zeus," Elliot said, grinning at the old man. Zeus just shrugged in response, dismissing the topic entirely.

A moment had passed and the light at the end of the tunnel was getting nearer. All of them waited for the light until it swallowed them, exiting Sheeva's little world and going back to reality.

They stood at the bridge and Sheeva's holographic body was gone. What's only left in the altar was the vial that contained the blood of the original One Sun.

"What do we do with that thing?" Lance asked. "That's an artifact, and we need the best candidate for that thing."

"Sheeva didn't say anything about the third Eternal," Zeus said. "Let's discuss this later on. First, we have to escape this mountain and find a safer place."

Zeus was the one who walked up to the altar to get the vial. His hands were so close to the container when a loud booming sound came from the skies.

"What's that?!" Elliot gasped.

The clouds opened up, revealing a giant floating island. The island was lowering itself down until its ground was leveled up the bridge to which the Adventurers were at.

On the island was a woman who was sitting on a wooden chair. She had an Eastern style clothing but her face was covered with a vale. On her right hand was a fan that she slowly moved, her movements graceful and looked serene.

Behind the woman were two more women. They had the style of male Eastern clothing, but their facial features were surely of female. They also had full chest that was perky. The three of them didn't move until the island was completely aligned with the bridge.

"Who are you?" Zeus asked with a booming voice. With a step of his right hand, his entire body lit up with bright electric sparks. The sparks were fast and powerful, making the ones on the ground to wait for the search team feel it.

Frederick, Luck, Elizabeth, and Galaxia followed Zeus. They exuded their powers in the air threateningly, trying to warn the intruders of their powers.

"Humans are so pitiful," the woman on the chair said. "I came here to speak to you and this is how you greet me."

"Speak?" Zeus asked. "What is it that you wanted to speak about?"

She pointed at the vial that was in Zeus's hands. "I want to speak to you about that."

The old man looked at the red vial, clenching it tighter. "You cannot have this. Leave before we show you our true powers."

The woman laughed. "You? You're the one who's going to show off?"

The two women behind her had stoic faces even when she was laughing loudly. They stood still and watched the events unfold in front of them, their expressions calm and their bodies silent.

"I believe you're mistaken," the woman with the vale said. "It was I who wanted to make peaceful transactions, but you seem to underestimate me. You're too full of yourselves without even knowing the true potential of your enemy."

"So, you are an enemy," Zeus sighed. He raised his hands that made the sky darken. The clouds loomed over the entire island and thunders and lightnings paraded in the skies. "We have no mercey for enemies."

The old man slashed his hand forward and a part of the dark skies opened up. There was a large hole in the black clouds and a giant lightning struck from it. The Adventurers wanted to cheer for the man when the woman in the chair simply closed her fan and waved it once.

The lightning that was about to struck into the floating island vanished into thin air. The once dark clouds cleare, showing the blue skies with the sun blaring its heat in the center of it all.

"You have too much faith in yourself, human," the woman said. "Take them."

The two women behind her vanished. One reappeared in front of the bridge where Zeus was at, and the other was in the middle where the others were at.

"What the—" Zeus wasn't able to finish his words when the woman took the vial. He tried to fight but his movements seemed slow for the woman. She was able to dodge all his punches that he shot in a series of flashes.

"Impossible!" Zeus growled. He made his arm lit up with lightning and he used it to bore a hole in the woman's stomach, but he failed. His hand was thrusting in the air, attacking nobody at all.

When he looked around, the woman was already gone. He glanced at the others and saw that they too were having a rough time.

It was Frederick, Luck, Elizabeth, and Galaxia versus a single woman and they couldn't believe that they were on the losing side.

Her movements were so swift and agile, that they couldn't land a single attack nor catch her. She wasn't attacking them too, which made it weird since the woman from the chair clearly ordered them to get something.

"What do you want?" Elliot growled, slashing his sword forward.

The woman lunged to the ground and stared. "You!"

She launched herself off of the bridge and leaped up all in a split second's time. Everyone around her could only watch as she took the boy in her arms and vanish into thin air.

"What…" Frederick trailed off.

When they woke up from the trance, their bodies fell to the ground. This made the woman on the chair laugh loudly, cupping her cheeks as she watched the Adventurers.

"Aw, you're all too cute," the woman said. "Did you even try at all?"

"Shut up!" Zeus stood and covered both his hands with lightning. He raised them apart as he roared loudly. "Mountain Splitting Lightning Strike!"

The man slammed his hands together, creating a large tornado made of lightning. The woman on the chair just chuckled. She lifted her vale right below her nose and slowly blowed in the air, making the entire attack vanish.

"Impossible," was Zeus's last words before he fainted.

The woman kept on laughing as she and her island left, leaving the Adventurers in the bridge.

Meanwhile, Elliot awoke and he found himslef still in the bridge. He scrunched his face and tried to recall what happened when he remembered that the woman was going to get him. But she didn't.

The boy gasped after realizing that the person behind him was gone.

"Lance is gone!"
