[General] Trying to emulate Yoo Jin’s gameplay (+Review)
.
.
.
Of course, I didn’t do it alone. I played with the Cerberus crew members, LOL.
Anyway, I can confidently say that it was the toughest time of my life. The difficulty level was set to ‘very hard’ for everything, so if you made even the slightest noise, you would get caught if you were unlucky.
It might be a bit long-winded, but let me add one last thing: the average number of attempts was about 46 times. I need to get rid of the strategy team label.
If I had to rate the difficulty, it would be West Point >>>> Artemis first mission >>> the rest.
I’ll keep it short and then briefly explain each mission.
1. Don’t do it.
2. Don’t even think about trying it in a public game.
3. Just think of it as learning how to proceed with the mission.
I’ll start with West Point.
I believe a lot of people have attempted it after Yoo Jin released the public game video where she gathered three participants, but considering that fewer than one in a thousand people succeeded, you can guess how difficult it is.
Without further ado, let’s briefly review Yoo Jin’s mission play sequence.
Unlike most users who use the river to rescue essential personnel and escape, Yoo Jin’s party started from the south.
When you start, you are given two sniper rifles and a sniper drone, which must be used correctly to infiltrate safely without being detected by the platoon stationed on the northeast riverside.
Many public game parties were probably wiped out at the entrance because you need to take out the sentry on top of the high-rise building near the entrance and then take out two patrols within 15 seconds to avoid detection.
After passing through this, you proceed about 400 meters upward where the path splits into two.
The right side is a hotel converted into a Russian HQ, and the left side is a government office and a playground. There are about a dozen infantry fighting vehicles and nearly 200 enemies, so you need fire support here.
You can’t shoot the patrols near the hotel because the sound will be heard inside, so you have to take them out with melee attacks.
Then, you can mark the targets for the bombing. This is the easiest part because you just have to mark the coordinates for the guided bomb. You don’t have to do it by the book like Yoo Jin, LOL. The next part is actually more problematic.
After the bombing, it becomes a physical segment where Alpha Team handles the surviving enemies from the bombing, and Beta Team deals with all the enemies inside the hotel. Yoo Jin cleared it very easily, but if you lack basic CQB understanding, you might just die without knowing how.
.
.
.
There might be people who made it to the northwest hub, but I bet they got stuck at the next part.
It’s not for any special reason. You have to deal with the 2S25 airborne self-propelled guns to reach the personnel you need to rescue, but Yoo Jin’s previous coordinates, EF 851341, don’t work, so 100% of the players either gave up or took a detour here.
The reason is quite simple.
Whether you arrived late or early, the real-time positions of the self-propelled guns didn’t match the coordinates Yoo Jin gave, LOL. In other words, you need to guide the fire support in real-time.
You probably already used up both cluster bombs, and all that’s left are Hellfire missiles, which can’t take out five self-propelled guns at once if they miss even a little.
You should study how to mark coordinates separately… Anyway, Yoo Jin seemed to have calculated the coordinates in real-time for fire support. Seriously, LOL.
The best option is to get as close as possible and manually guide the laser.
The last part is actually the simplest in this mission: just go around the buildings and take out all the enemies to rescue the personnel.
If you’ve made it this far, the enemy proportion will be at most 30-40%, and the HQ will be in shambles, so the combat will be easier than before. Just be careful not to get downed before reaching this point, or you can forget about the Omega rank, LOL.
If you do this, you can be one of the ten thousand people who possess an Omega clear rank.
How about walking around with the Omega rank patch in the insanely popular game Dark Zone, which has an average of 15 million daily users on weekdays and 60 million concurrent users on weekends? You can do it too. Try it.
Anyway, next is Artemis.

- Wow, amazing analysis.
- Why does he always say don’t do it, LOL.
- Isn’t Cerberus a crew that gets corporate sponsorship and clears missions after weeks or months of attempts?
ㄴYes, that’s right.
ㄴWow, that’s intense, LOL.
ㄴEven with all the guidelines, 57 attempts, LOL.
- Don’t strategy teams usually not share this kind of information?
ㄴThey didn’t discover it themselves. They just emulated Yoo Jin’s play, so there’s nothing to hide, LOL.
ㄴ[Author] As the person above said, our analysis team didn’t create the route. We got all the data from Yoo Jin’s gameplay, so we had to share it.
ㄴStrategy team teaching strategy team, LOL.
ㄴ‘All’ data, LOL.
- How did Yoo Jin manage to get an Omega rank with three random participants in a public game, LOL.
ㄴJust… King God Emperor Anaconda Yoo Jin! She’s crazy!
ㄴLiving point) All main mission videos on Yourspace have 700,000 views each.
ㄴEveryone trying to emulate, LOL.
ㄴIs she even human?
- Is she… human?
- I’d believe it if you said she’s an AI supercomputer experimented on by a corporation or government.
ㄴWhat are you talking about, LOL. She’s a cyber-girl mixed with a machine, an anaconda, and a human. It’s hot.
ㄴBullshit, LOL.
ㄴFirst of all, yes, please…
- What’s funny is, LOL, Yoo Jin grinded it finely for us, but the powder is rebelling in your throats.
ㄴLOL.
ㄴFinely ground (not really).
ㄴIs it porridge chewed by Yoo Jin coming to life?
ㄴTurn off your eyes, you fool, LOL.
ㄴOh.
ㄴWhy are there so many living-for-today people, LOL.
- Teacher, you’re too fast.
ㄴHe gave all the answers, but the pen weighs 50kg, so you can’t write the answers on the test paper, LOL.
ㄴLOL.
ㄴSo, if I train my forearm muscles, I can get an Omega rank? Awesome, LOL.
ㄴDo you hear people calling you one-dimensional in life?
ㄴWhat a gathering of fools, LOL.
“…Gone? Gone, right?”
- Gone?
- GONE? GONE?
- Gone!
- Yoo Jin is gone, LOL.
- Seriously gone?
“Guys! Charge into Yoo Jin’s broadcast channel!”
- Chargeeee!
Meanwhile, in September, with the heat not entirely gone.
Harmony’s charming and playful broadcast invasion operation began.
“Yes! Welcome! The match at 7 PM on a Saturday, when people are most free, is now starting! More than 30,000 people have already gathered in the enormous stadium map that can accommodate 80,000 people at once. Considering there are sixteen such broadcast sessions in total, it’s not an exaggeration to say that around 500,000 people have gathered to watch today’s match.”
“Indeed. And many might overlook the fact that this is just the preliminary rank. Last year’s Asia preliminaries had 5 million viewers from Korea alone, so this year is expected to have even more.”
“Absolutely right.”
The stadium map.
It was a new trend that emerged with the rise of virtual reality to facilitate real-time broadcasts and more immersive viewer participation. Despite being introduced only a year ago, almost half of the seats were filled.
Even without expensive tickets, it was possible to watch e-sports matches, leading various VR games to adopt this highly praised feature, although none were as popular as Dark Zone.
The booming voices of the commentators echoed crisply in the space.
Just as the viewers heard the commentators, the commentators could see the cheers of the approximately 30,000 viewers in the stands. Although the seats were less than half full, there were sixteen active rooms.
Bringing a total of 500,000 people into one stadium put enormous pressure on the server.
Their conversation continued without interruption.
“This map is an industrial complex in Russia with a nuclear fuel reprocessing plant nearby. The primary kill zone gimmick involves highly concentrated radioactive dust falling with the rain and wind. Aside from the numerous Easter eggs, the map isn’t particularly special.”
“In other words, because the map has fewer variables, individual physical skills are emphasized. This place, where victory or defeat is determined by pure skill and personal judgment, aligns perfectly with the essence of AP soloing.”
“Exactly. Let’s move on to the player introductions!”
Another unique feature of the weekend stadium broadcasts was that the 100 players in each session presented themselves to the
vast audience before the game began.
A brief interview started, focusing more on newly discovered rising stars than established pro gamers. Each time an interview began, a clip of the player’s super play from the preliminaries was shown above their head.
It was an unparalleled opportunity to showcase oneself and one’s skills.
Each player had roughly 15 seconds, with twenty players introducing themselves in about five minutes. Only one in five was chosen, but lower-tier players had more matches, so the chance of not being picked for an interview wasn’t high.
Of course, the focus on newcomers implied a few reverse cases.
“Yes! We’ve heard KimchiNoodleRoll’s ambitions. Now, for the last player interview. The next player is… Ah! This is a significant figure! It’s the rising blue chip of AP recently!”
“Haha, I have a good guess. Is it the player everyone dreads facing in close combat these days?”
Nodding.
The caster then loudly called out the main star.
“The nightmare of pro gamers, the Apex Predator! The last interviewee is Yoo Jin! Please welcome her with a big round of applause!”
And simultaneously,
Suddenly, 35,000 people flooded into that broadcast room.
With extreme traffic causing even the voices of the commentators and the 30,000 viewers in the stadium to cut out, the room, now twice as crowded as the others, buzzed with unprecedented energy.
“What? The …ment is happening! What’s going on? Did the other rooms stop?”
“It doesn’t seem so. I guess a specific reason caused people to flock to this room. Sorry to Yoo Jin, but we need to find out what’s happening. Once again, we apologize.”
At the same time, he looked down to see Yoo Jin’s expression—not anger, disbelief, or confusion. She was simply gazing at the stadium seats with a faint, bitter smile on her lips.
Wondering what was happening, he started to look for someone to interview, but there was no need.
First, a dozen.
Then a hundred.
A thousand, and then ten thousand.
In just a few seconds, 30,000 people raised their fists in the air and chanted a single name.
The empty times of pro gamers watching her broadcast left them staring blankly around.
“Yoo Jin! Yoo Jin! Yoo Jin! Yoo Jin! Yoo Jin! Yoo Jin! Yoo Jin! Yoo Jin! Yoo Jin! Yoo Jin!”
And at the forefront.
A green cat, a streamer with tags like ‘Queen of Bad Games,’ ‘Five-year Veteran Streamer,’ ‘ICARUS Treasure,’ and ‘Bonk Hammer Brotherhood’ before her ICARUS nickname.
Harmony was bouncing up and down, looking at Yoo Jin.
“Teacher Yoo Jin───! We’re here!”
“…Ah, geez.”
It couldn’t be because of me.
Although receiving cheers from tens of thousands, Yoo Jin’s mind was filled with such thoughts.
