A firm knock on the door echoed through the Hokage's office. Inside, **Hashirama Senju** was casually filing his nails, while **Madara Uchiha** meticulously wiped down a set of kunai. Across the room, **Tobirama Senju** sat buried under a mountain of paperwork, only looking up at the sound.

A voice came from outside.

"Hokage-sama, Tobirama-sama, Madara-sama—Kurama Tenju-senpai and Shimura Danzo have returned."

At this, Hashirama grinned. "Finally! I swear, that guy Tenju takes forever, even for a simple mission." Though he complained, the warmth in his tone betrayed his relief.

To him, every ninja in the village was like family, and his younger brother had already acknowledged Tenju as a capable ally.

Hashirama cleared his throat and straightened up, pretending to focus on a document. "Let them in," he said, putting on a serious expression.

The door opened, and Tenju and Danzo stepped inside, bowing slightly.

"Hokage-sama, Madara-sama, Tobirama-sensei."

Tobirama wasted no time. "How did the mission go?"

Tenju's cold, composed voice carried an air of authority. "Everyone performed well, especially Shimura Danzo."

Tobirama smirked. "Of course. Danzo is a rising star in the village. He mastered kenjutsu earlier than most and even created his own **Yufū Kenjutsu** (Gale-Style Swordsmanship). Not to mention, he's awakened a new Kekkei Genkai."

At this, Uchiha Madara lifted an eyebrow and examined Danzo for a moment before nodding. "Impressive."

Tenju chuckled, shaking his head. "If you say so, then his future is brighter than mine." He didn't sound bitter—on the contrary, he seemed genuinely pleased. If the next generation was strong, the **Kurama clan** wouldn't decline so easily.

Hashirama patted Tenju's shoulder. "Don't sell yourself short. Your mastery of genjutsu is unmatched, and you're a trusted ally of Konoha."

Tobirama, growing impatient, pushed a few scrolls forward. "Enough chit-chat. Here's your mission reward."

At this, the younger ninjas' faces lit up. **Hiruzen Sarutobi** and the others cheered. This was their first mission reward, a sign of their progress.

As the team began to file out, Danzo hesitated at the door, then turned back toward Hashirama.

"Hokage-sama… your document is upside-down."

Then, without waiting for a reaction, he swiftly exited the room.

For a brief moment, the room was silent.

Then, Tobirama and Madara burst into laughter.

Hashirama hurriedly flipped the document the right way up, then scowled at his brother. "That little brat."

Tenju, still standing near the desk, tried—and failed—to suppress his laughter.

"Just laugh, already," Hashirama groaned, rubbing his temples.

And so, the office was soon filled with lighthearted laughter.

Stepping outside the Hokage Building, Danzo exhaled deeply. He'd hesitated for a long time before deciding to correct the Hokage's mistake. Thankfully, it was over now.

The streets of Konoha bustled with activity, but Danzo's mind was elsewhere. As the team divided their mission rewards and discussed their next steps, he made his way toward the **Shimura clan compound**.

The Shimura estate was lively, with people moving about. Just as he neared his house, the clan head, **Shimura Yutaro**, intercepted him with a broad grin.

"Danzo! Come, come—have a meal with us!"

Before he could refuse, Yutaro practically dragged him toward the clan leader's home.

Danzo sighed but didn't resist. He was familiar with this place—ever since gaining a reputation as Konoha's strongest young prodigy, the clan head had taken great interest in him.

Before stepping inside, he used a newly acquired ability—a cleaning jutsu he'd obtained from a mission draw.

"**Cleanse.**"

Immediately, all the dust and grime on his clothes vanished, leaving him refreshed.

Yutaro blinked in surprise. "Was that a new jutsu?"

Danzo shrugged. "A little trick I picked up."

The older man stared at him in disbelief. As a Jōnin specializing in Wind Release, even he couldn't perform such a skill so effortlessly.

"Hahaha! Konoha truly favors the Shimura clan! You'll surpass even me one day, Danzo. No doubt, you'll lead us to new heights!"

"Alright, alright, I can hear you from inside."

The inner doors slid open, revealing a middle-aged woman with a dignified yet kind aura—Yutaro's wife, **Shimura Natsuka**. Her expression softened upon seeing Danzo.

"Danzo! It's been so long since you visited. You must be exhausted from your mission." She took his hand and led him inside.

"Brother Danzo!"

A small voice squealed, and before he could react, a two-year-old girl tackled him, clinging to him like a koala.

Danzo sighed, recognizing her immediately—**Shimura Rin**, the clan head's youngest daughter.

"Rin, you're going to choke me," he muttered, patting her head.

At that moment, another child peeked from behind the door—**Shimura Haruto**, the grandson of one of the clan elders.

"Rin, let him breathe," Haruto scolded, stepping forward. He was a small boy with neatly tied hair, looking up to Danzo as an older brother figure.

Haruto had been… difficult at first, but after a few well-deserved beatings during training, he'd declared himself Danzo's number one follower. His logic? *I may not be strong, but I have a strong boss! Do you?!*

Of course, he was also the one who got punished the most when causing trouble.

As they walked inside, Haruto's excitement was impossible to contain.

"Boss, tell me about your mission! Were the enemies strong? What's it like outside the village?"

Danzo cracked his knuckles.

Haruto flinched.

"Ah—w-wait, I was just curious—"

Before Danzo could respond, Natsuka entered with a tray of food.

"Alright, time to eat."

The table was filled with a variety of dishes… all of which looked slightly *off*.

A tense silence filled the room.

Natsuka frowned. "Why aren't you eating?"

Haruto hesitated, then whispered, "Mom… there's no salt in the food."

"Nonsense! I know my own cooking!"

Haruto paled.

And so, the long-standing **Shimura Family Dinner Crisis** continued.
