I Got A Title: Lord Of The Time!

With full determination in his heart, Lin looked at the two brothers and ran toward them!

Holding the blade in his right hand and running at high speed, Lin reached the brothers in a few seconds and attacked them!

"There's a plan," Lin decided to strike Gary first.

He raised the katana and aimed it at his neck.

Whoosh!

Clang!

Naturally, Gary raised his axe and deflected Lin's attack, creating the clash of two metals. But Lin didn't give up and, quickly pulling back the katana, made several slashes at Gary to distract him!

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Clang! Clang! Clang!

"Void..." Gary barely managed to deflect three fast strikes made in a second. He looked at his younger brother with hope, signaling him with his eyes to attack Lin!

Yen, naturally, understood and instantly attacked Lin.

He jumped toward Lin and raised his right fist to strike him in the back!

Whoosh!

Lin smiled slightly and quickly turned back, opening his left hand, which held a large amount of sand.

The sand flew directly into Yen's eyes, and during that moment, Lin easily caught his opponent's fist and pulled him toward himself, raising his left knee and striking him in the chest!

Bang!

Lin's left knee struck Yen in the chest with great force, causing his opponent to freeze for a moment, not understanding what was happening.

But Lin didn't stop and suddenly turned back, swinging his katana, since he saw from the shadow that Gary was coming at him from behind with his axe, intending to slice him to pieces!

Clang!

The axe and blade clashed again, making that characteristic sound of impact.

"I must admit, Void, I'm impressed by your quick thinking. You managed to keep me occupied and even confuse Yen!" Gary smirked and suddenly raised his axe above his head, bringing it down with great force!

Whoosh!

The sand beneath Lin's feet shifted slightly, as the force of the axe had increased several times!

"This insane strength... Where do they get so much power? Could it be that they truly are capable of accepting the power of the Soul Shard without Distorting?" Lin closed his eyes for a second and quickly came up with a plan to kill Gary fast!

He decided to lunge at Gary!

Chzzz!

The axe made of unknown material and Lin's katana emitted a strong screech, scattering thousands of yellow sparks everywhere. Lin suddenly jumped toward Gary and aimed the tip of his blade at his chin, hoping to kill him with the first strike!

"Not this time!" came Yen's voice.

Bang!

Lin felt a strong blow to the left side of his head!

Yen had used his leg to knock Lin aside, striking him in the head!

Lin flew a few meters and calmly landed on the sand, feeling a tingling inside his head and near his ears.

"That was unpleasant..." he slowly got to his feet and looked at the two men.

The two brothers didn't look heavily injured; their bodies stood as straight as before; their eyes just as focused on Lin and his every move; and the expressions on their faces indicated how much they enjoyed fighting Lin.

Their condition was much better than Lin's.

Lin sighed heavily and tried to fully relax his body to enter meditation and calm down, as he felt his consciousness was in a chaotic state.

Lin's body relaxed for a few seconds, and then it filled with new power that completely harmonized with his body.

He opened his eyes.

They expressed not coldness, but acceptance.

Lin accepted his state and relaxed into it.

He hadn't yet come up with a name for these actions.

"Let it be called... Second of Relaxation." Lin quickly came up with a name for this state, which he achieved through constant meditation.

At that moment, a blue screen appeared next to Lin, along with a mechanical voice in his head:

With an emotionless expression, Lin read the text on the blue screen and understood that he had gained a new skill, which he had just created himself seconds ago.

He lazily smiled and looked at the two brothers already rushing toward him.

"Stop spacing out, Void! Let's fight!" Gary rapidly closed in on Lin and swung his axe!

Lin jumped upward and landed on the axe, pressing down on it with his body!

With great force, the axe was knocked out of Gary's hands and fell to the sand, and then Lin pretended to swing his katana.

But then, he suddenly turned around and raised his leg, striking Yen in the face!

Bang!

Yen watched Lin in surprise as he was sent into a short flight!

Still with a neutral expression, Lin quickly turned around and made the first slash at Gary!

Whoosh!

The blade easily created a long cut across Gary's tough body, which to Lin seemed made of stone!

"One..." his thoughts were faster than his slashes, and Lin swung the katana a second time in an instant, making another cut across Gary's body!

Whoosh!

A cross-shaped wound appeared on Gary's body!

Lin slashed again!

Whoosh!

And again!

Whoosh!

Lin made dozens of slashes across Gary's body in a few seconds and slowly stopped.

"B-Bastard..." Gary watched Lin in shock and slowly fell.

Bang!

Gary fell onto several of his own organs, which had spilled out by that time.

Gary was dead.

Lin looked at the body with a calm face and slowly turned toward the spot where Yen sat with a stunned expression, slowly crying.

"No... Brother... Brother!!!" Yen suddenly shouted and looked at Lin with anger, continuing: "Bastard!! Damn bastard!!! You killed my brother! Do you understand?!"

"I'll kill you... Not just kill... First I'll dismember you, then cook you and force your descendants to eat it! You bastard... You'll pay for this!" Yen stared at his brother's corpse with pain in his eyes and slightly smiled.

Then he started laughing.

"Ha-ha..."

He laughed harder.

"Ha-ha-ha-ha!"

"Ha-ha-ha! Alright, alright. That was excellent," Yen slowly stood up and wiped the tears from his eyes, then looked at Lin and smirked.

"You believed it? How was my performance?"

Lin frowned and asked:

"So he wasn't your brother?"

Yen laughed loudly and shook his head.

"Of course not. That idiot couldn't possibly be my brother, his bloodline is way too stupid for that. He was just sitting across from me and I tried manipulating him to see what kind of effect it would have. Who would've thought this idiot was dumb enough to actually think I could be his brother."

Yen slowly walked away and began to leave Lin.

It was clear he didn't intend to continue the conflict.

Suddenly, he turned back and asked Lin:

"Void? Maybe... we're brothers?"

Lin slowly raised his katana and pointed it at him, saying through the mask:

"If you don't leave, I'll kill you."

Yen laughed and quickly walked away.

Lin had won.

But this was only the first battle.
