I Don’t Want to Be Turned into a Girl by Magic

Ch. 94

In the afternoon, Lin Nan and Chen Yao stared at each other in the private room of the internet café.

"So you mean you're planning to go play at the beach?" Chen Yao listened to Lin Nan's schedule for the day with a face full of surprise. "Then you'll just play on the shore?"

"Well... probably?" Lin Nan was a bit intimidated and didn't dare tell the truth, afraid this guy would suddenly get the idea to say he wanted to go too.

Though actually, there wouldn't be too much of a problem since the shame of wearing a women's swimsuit in front of his mother was much more embarrassing than being ashamed in front of his buddy.

Lin Nan recalled the scene of saying those words to his mother... his memory stopped at the moment he said those words. Then he just felt his head making whistling sounds like a kettle boiling water, and that was it.

The next memory that appeared was lying in his own bedroom with his mother sitting beside him, looking worried.

But after such a sudden incident, his mother probably wouldn't have the mind to continue borrowing money, right?

"The beach, huh. Too bad you're going with your mom. I won't disturb you two." Chen Yao sighed deeply, then asked curiously, "What did your family say after they found out about your situation?"

"My mom feels really sorry for me..." Lin Nan hadn't expected his mother's reaction to actually be heartache and guilt.

But as the one being felt sorry for, thinking about his previous reckless actions, the more his mother felt sorry for him, the more guilty he felt.

But if he told them about the magic, he'd probably be sent to a mental hospital for electroshock therapy. That would be worse than owing 100,000 yuan and being anesthetized on the operating table.

"What about your dad?"

"I still haven't seen my dad. My mom says he's rather old-fashioned and would kick me out if he saw how I look now." Lin Nan controlled the internet café computer mouse in distress. "But I think so too. He was originally counting on me to continue the family line, then suddenly telling him that what he raised for eighteen years was actually a daughter—anyone would be unable to accept that, right?"

"Favoring sons over daughters." Chen Yao sneered. "What era is this? Does he still think only sons can carry the family bloodline? Isn't it just a matter of surname?"

"How would I know what he's thinking? Anyway, my mom said it's best not to see him, but my mom will go help explain things to him when she has time..." Lin Nan felt his mother was really quite reliable. He used to always feel his parents weren't dutiful or responsible, but now he felt his mother had at least been thinking about him in her heart for a long time.

"If you're camping at the beach, don't go in the water at night. It's quite dangerous." Chen Yao was afraid Lin Nan lacked safety awareness.

"Mm." He nodded expressionlessly.

Although Lin Nan's face didn't show much emotional fluctuation, his heart was full of conflict.

That magic was indeed useful in Lilith's memories—not only could it deceive people, but it could also make the deceived person question their life.

But this was charm magic, after all. To put it bluntly, it was for seducing people. Who seduces their own mother?

And the unlock conditions were also extraordinarily shameful...

"Why aren't you getting ready?" Chen Yao turned to look at Lin Nan, whose face had started turning red again at some point. "Bareskin?"

"You're the one who'll do that!"

"Actually, no." Chen Yao curled his lips and scooted his butt to get farther from Lin Nan.

It was probably because of hormones—now, whenever he got too close to Lin Nan, it might cause him to raise a flag pole. This was not only extremely embarrassing but also made him feel somewhat guilty inside.

He felt that even though he already saw Lin Nan as a girl, Lin Nan was still his best friend, at most an opposite-sex best friend, and Lin Nan obviously thought the same way.

But his lower half couldn't be controlled...

The internet café's private room was very simple, which was fortunately simple enough and not like a KTV private room. Chen Yao could only smell a faint milky fragrance. In the dorm, if the air conditioning was on for a long time, just passing by Lin Nan's bed area, this scent could be detected.

Not just him—Tu Junhui and Xiong Da had also noticed this milky fragrance around Lin Nan's bed area, but they suspected Lin Nan had spilled Cola's milk or it was a smell left from feeding Cola before.

Bah! It was obviously him!

If he hadn't realized this, it would have been fine, but after becoming aware of it, every time Chen Yao smelled this scent, he felt a bit dizzy.

This internet café was a place Lin Nan often came to in junior and senior high school, so it had become their usual meeting spot. Even though both of them now had computers, they still ran here to meet and play a couple of games together.

Lin Nan was obviously somewhat melancholic, but this was Lin Nan's family matter. Chen Yao had no way to help and could only try his best to accompany him playing games.

"Forget it, let's switch accounts. Want to go to Silver rank for some happy fishing?"

"Why do you say the same thing Dong An said?" Lin Nan forced a smile but was still worried about what was coming next.

If it was nighttime, wearing a swimsuit at the beach shouldn't attract anyone's attention, right? After all, it would be pitch black, and nothing could be seen, right?

Thinking of this, Lin Nan felt somewhat more at ease, but wearing a women's swimsuit in front of his mother was really quite shameful. But men's swim trunks were also equivalent to being bare-chested.

"Wait, can you swim?" Chen Yao suddenly asked.

"I swam in the pond at our doorstep when I was little. Should be okay."

If he couldn't swim, Lin Nan would have been intimidated just hearing the name Chen Jiang last time.

After logging into a Silver account and waiting for the game to start, Lin Nan barely broke free from those chaotic thoughts and focused his attention on the game.

Unfortunately, after only beating up Silver players once with heavy punches, Lin Nan's mother called, telling him to come back and prepare to go to the beach.

He helplessly got up and logged off, called a three-wheeler on the street to return to his residential complex entrance, only to discover that the uncle he'd seen this morning had appeared before his eyes again.

It looked like, this time, they were taking the uncle's car to the beach.

Lin Nan curiously observed the uncle and his mother. Their relationship probably wasn't ordinary—this could be confirmed just by seeing the rare smile on his mother's face.

"I've already bought your swimsuit. We'll rent a tent when we get there." Seeing Lin Nan arrive, his mother walked forward with a bright smile and rubbed his arm.

Lin Nan discovered his mother was quite good-looking when she smiled. He could vaguely see her youthful appearance.

But when facing his mother, he was always nervous and very guilty. Although curious about the uncle's identity, he still lowered his head without saying a word, looking shy.

"Your son's personality is like a girl's." The uncle smiled and opened the car's back door. "Get in. Have a good time tonight. Don't think about those messy things. You two probably haven't gone out to play together in a long time, right?"

Not just a long time—basically never since he could remember?
