I Created Scientific Magic

Chapter 656: The Second Star God of the Parliament!

(PS: I wrote the wrong name before; it should have been Harrov who ascended, I've corrected it).

In the endless Sea of Quanta, there was no accurate concept of time. It might have been three years, five years, or maybe even ten years that Lynn, who had been meditating and pondering the improvement of Divine Arts, opened his eyes once more.

What appeared before them was a lush, verdant forest, towering trees extending into the clouds covering the sky, while serpentine streams meandered below. Surrounding them were myriad small creatures, freely floating in the air with pointy ears, somewhat akin to fairies.

Some tens of meters away, a great hunt was underway. A dozen agile beasts sprinted through the forest, intent on exterminating a group of creatures, while in the turbulent stream, nimble fish twisted their bodies to leap above the water's surface, avoiding their predators' assaults.

In just eight or nine years, planet 1732, once devoid of life and silent, now teemed with vibrant, burgeoning life as far as the eye could see.

Lynn and Ogg floated above the dense forest, remarkably conspicuous yet oddly ignored by all creatures, as if they were but illusory shadows. Occasionally, some fairy-like beings would fly by, even chasing each other right through their bodies.

"It's really... fast!" Although he anticipated it, Ogg was still amazed to see the rapid transformation of the entire planet after their Awakening.

Over these years, Ogg hadn't been idle either. Under Lynn's watch, although unable to do much, he took the opportunity to restore his severely depleted Divine Power.

They awoke together now because the God Ascension Ritual was nearly complete, at the crucial moment of solidifying the divine position!

In the sky, Harrov's fragmented, twisted body finally merged into one. This indicated he had successfully navigated the toughest challenge and hadn't been overwhelmed by the myriad details of the quanta and higher-dimensional realms.

The next moment, every creature on the planet felt a shiver rise from the depths of their being, compelling them to look towards the sky.

There, amidst the azure expanse, strong elemental forces swirled like a vortex, and the unfolding radiance faintly revealed an array of bizarre spectacles.

Spheres of various sizes fell from the sky simultaneously. A lever stood erect on a balance, its ends swinging ceaselessly up and down...

Lynn recognized at once that they represented free fall, the principle of the lever, resistance and friction... Eventually, even the motion of galaxies could be perceived.

These were undoubtedly classical laws of physics.

In that moment, Lynn sharply sensed some agitation within the Array of Ogg. He felt as though he had lost something but had also gained a new strength.

Within the Array itself, the laws relating to mechanics glowed faintly, becoming highly active.

Lynn was musing over this when the anomalies in the sky gradually subsided, and the oppressive presence enveloping the planet slowly calmed.

"Let's go!" Lynn sensed Harrov's arrival, though not at that location.

Ogg, intrigued, nodded and took a step, following Lynn to the place where the God Ascension Ritual had begun. Harrov's figure materialized from the ethereal to the physical at the center of the Alchemy Array, his expression extremely excited.

Legend and Star God, two entirely different realms, now he could see the true nature of the world with his own eyes!

"Congratulations, Chairman Harrov!"

Onlookers such as Anthony gazed at Harrov with immense envy, knowing stepping into such a rank was the difference between heaven and earth, wondering whether their own future would be as smooth.

Lynn also stepped forward to congratulate Harrov and then began asking about the details of his advancement, especially regarding the issue of his divine position, and whether it had gone as they had previously anticipated with him obtaining a physical godhood.

"No, I am now just the Mechanics God…" Harrov shook his head and spoke with a hint of regret.

Just a branch of physics?

Lynn raised an eyebrow, realizing that obtaining a divine position was not as simple as he had thought.

Ogg, on the other hand, wasn't surprised because based on Lynn's explanation of this so-called physical godhood, its scope was simply too vast, almost enough to support a main god position!

How could a newly ascended deity possibly manage such a powerful divine position.

"It's already quite good to have attained the Mechanics God position!" Lynn consoled, noting that mechanics was also a broad field, an extremely important discipline within physics, encompassing everything from the motion of elements to the revolution of celestial bodies.

Relying solely on this divine position, advancing to the great divine power should pose no problem in the future.

Harrov quickly adjusted his mindset too, very aware of his limitations. When he was condensing his mechanics divinity, he had nearly lost control.

And during those eight years, although he had relied on the magic network, magic power stations spread across different locations, and the death of intelligent beings within the planet to break through to the god realm, he was still a lesser deity for the time being, needing to wait until he was completely familiar with his divine position, gained control of the entire planet, and extended his divine domain deep into the planet's core before he could advance again.

Meanwhile, of the council members who also stayed within planet 1732, two had completed their small realm breakthroughs, becoming nine-ring legendary wizards—Aurora and Vittorio.

Now, among the three star systems nominally owned by the council, only one life-bearing star remained.

"It should be my turn next, shouldn't it?" Aurora said eagerly, having advanced before Vittorio, and by the rules they had set earlier, the last life-bearing star should rightly be hers.

Vittorio opened his mouth, but in the end, he could only sigh, even though he had been the first to advance to the eight-ring legendary wizard status. Surprisingly, both Harrov and Aurora had surpassed him in advancing to the nine rings.

Since the rules had already been set, Vittorio couldn't well go back on his word and had to console himself that there were still many planets within the three star systems, even if their orbital positions were somewhat poor and couldn't naturally give birth to life. It didn't mean they couldn't serve as divine domains, the only difference being that maintaining them might be a bit more troublesome later on.

"Councilor Harrov, you and Ogg will be in charge of presiding over the upcoming advancement ceremonies."

Lynn took out a ball of seven-number element and handed it to Harrov, not planning to spend all his time here.

Unfolding the seven-number element into low dimensions was something any deity could do, and since mechanics involved dimensions and spacetime too, maintaining its movement in the Sea of Quanta shouldn't be a problem.

"I assume you've had enough time to recover by now, haven't you, Lord Ogg?" Lynn turned his head and spoke with a smile.

Ogg's expression became peculiar, then he realized that the previous eight years of downtime had been deliberately given to him as a period of rest…
