Chapter 647: My Name is Ogg, the Shepherd of Life, the God of Creation!
"Low dimension... expand!"
The moment Lynn's words fell, the seventh element gathered in the palm expanded hundreds of millions of times in an instant, engulfing everything around!
The previous uses of "Low Dimensional Expansion" all took place inside planets, utilizing the planet's own gravity and magnetic field to form a protective shield, but this time was slightly different. It was in the vast expanse of space, relying solely on a thin layer of the seventh element as a shield, with the vast Sea of Quanta beyond.
Choosing the battlefield here was naturally to avoid the surveillance of the geometric civilization!
The God of Life and Creation stared at Lynn in front of him, feeling somewhat surprised. During the last battle, he could sense that the opponent's power was similar to his own, both being of middle Divine Power. But now, the oppressive feeling was much stronger than most of the gods he had seen, almost on par with the great god Harrie.
However, he too came prepared. At the same moment Lynn unfolded the seventh element, the God of Life and Creation also brought out the main divine artifact given by the chief god Morags.
It was... an eye!
It was the size of a human head, with a dark golden hue, and blood-red vessels sprawling around the pupil, looking very fierce and terrifying.
Rather than calling it a divine artifact, it's more like a part of the body of the chief god Morags!
Yet, separated by a universe, their connection had become very weak.
"My name is Ogg, the holder of life, the God of Creation!"
In the vacuum of space where sound cannot travel, Ogg's words seemed to penetrate the barrier of distance and resonated directly in Lynn's mind!
Under the power of life and creation, the human-sized eye began to expand rapidly, quickly exceeding a hundred meters. Wisps of pure white feathers drifted down from the void, finally coalescing into a pair of colossal wings!
And hidden beneath the white wings was a mass formed by countless eyes packed together.
Ogg was indeed using the Creation Divine Position to stimulate the power of this divine artifact!
As Lynn shifted the battlefield to the Sea of Quanta, the white wings suddenly spread open, and tens of thousands of terrifying rays of destruction bombarded down, covering almost the entire space engulfed by the seventh element, leaving no possibility for evasion.
Even Lynn couldn't help feeling his skin crawl. If he were hit by these rays of destruction, he too might face the danger of perishing.
In a moment of thought, a large amount of basic particles imperceptible to the naked eye aligned in front of Lynn under the influence of a certain force, forming a protective layer about a millimeter in diameter.
In front was the Neutron Shield!
Neutrons, being among the hardest substances in the universe with a strength a billion times that of steel, were firmly locked together under the influence of the Strong Nuclear Force, forming a wall as steadfast as a fortress.
Most crucially, their nearly perfectly smooth surface could reflect light rays back effectively.
But the light of collapse was not merely electromagnetic waves; even the sturdiest of walls would crumble layer by layer in the presence of tens of thousands of such beams. The neutrons hit by the light could not withstand the tremendous energy, shattering into even smaller quarks...
Not just that, the beams of collapse that struck elsewhere pierced through the shielding made of the seventh element, instantly creating a gaping hole, and the raging quantum tides surged forthright!
This was one of the most fundamental forces in the universe; even uncontrolled, it could erase a legend from the world in a flash.
Even gods found it difficult to stand their ground here for long...
Fortunately, out of those hundreds of thousands of beams of collapse, not all were aimed at Lynn; after passing through the Neutron Shield, their energy had faded to less than one percent, no longer posing any significant threat.
"Such a terrifying force..." Lynn muttered to himself, his expression becoming extremely grave.
He was referring both to the quantum tides and the just-witnessed beams of collapse, surely beyond the reach of a lesser Divine Power, most likely originating from a chief god's might!
As one wave of destruction concluded, the polymer, without the slightest delay and braving the wash of the quantum tides, raced towards Lynn. Its size expanded even further, and its wingspan grew to exceed a kilometer in diameter, its speed approaching that of light.
The speed of light, the limit in a three-dimensional universe, was not so impressive in higher dimensions.
In the moment before the polymer reached him, Lynn's body flickered, vanishing just as the speeding wings passed through his last position and reappearing tens of thousands of kilometers away.
This was the "Dimensional Leap," copied from the primary vessel of the geometric aliens; this technology could instantaneously transport a battleship the size of a city, albeit with downsides such as excessive energy loss, distance limitations, and lack of precision in positioning.
Lynn's mastery and understanding of dimensions exceeded that of the geometric civilization, thus granting him the freedom to precisely control his teleportation. However, even so, it could not be used frequently.
That's because a safe coordinate must first be confirmed, taking one second before a "Dimensional Leap," and in a battle between gods fought at light-speed and measured in milliseconds, even a single second's vulnerability could prove fatal!
However, his initial use certainly caught the God of Life and Creation off guard. Though he detected the spatial-temporal ripple, Lynn had already reappeared behind him, within a mere thousand kilometers, before any intervention.
After the first exchange, Lynn had realized that the peculiar polymer was likely linked to a chief god and not something he could handle easily; thus, he preferred to deal with its controller first!
Clearly sensing Lynn's intent to kill, Ogg knew well there was no chance of victory alone. Without any hesitation or thought of resistance, his body split open, dividing into hundreds of parts, scattering in all directions.
At that moment, Lynn had drawn upon the subatomic particles from the Sea of Quanta, and a light more blinding than solar flares ignited in the void of higher-dimensional space, obliterating nearly ninety-nine percent of the split entities in a single stroke.
However, the few remaining split bodies divided once more, fleeing deeper into the Sea of Quanta!
The God of Life and Creation might have had no forte in battle, but his will to survive was formidable. Among the gods, he was one of the most difficult to kill until his Divine Power was utterly exhausted!
Lynn had no chance for a second pursuit, as in the scant time under 0.1 seconds, the polymer, composed of countless eyes, had already charged back into the fray!
