I Created Scientific Magic

Chapter 546: The Sun Rises in a Foreign Land!

The Winter Dragon Wallock was seething with rage, his fury nearly taking physical form. He immediately took to the skies once more with an angry roar, opening his mouth to release a blast of icy breath!

The scorching flames collided with the icy breath, melting and disintegrating each other. A violent exploding sound echoed through the skies, creating a storm that swept outwards, knocking the nearby Screaming Demons and wraiths into a chaotic tumble.

Seeing that the bone dragon's breath could counter the Undying Flame left Lynn somewhat surprised. However, he soon sensed that this icy breath was not as simple as it appeared, containing a special force which felt eerily familiar to him—Soul Power!

Just like how Ela converted her soul into star fire for attack, the icy breath surged with a multitude of vindictive spirits.

It was this mixture of low temperature, vindictive spirits, and magic power in the breath that withstood the corrosion of the Undying Flame.

This made Lynn grow increasingly serious. The power of this incarnation was limited and there was indeed a possibility of turning the tables.

Lynn accelerated once again, dodging the skull dragon's dive. With a sweep of his right hand, another beam of laser cut through the air and sliced down the dragon's back...

However, the Winter Dragon Wallock, heedless of the danger, rapidly closed the distance. The Realm of the Dead that enveloped him began to swiftly expand, quickly encompassing Lynn within...

This highlighted one of the major drawbacks of being an incarnation—limited spiritual power, making it impossible to contest the control of the realm.

[Slow Field]—The Winter Dragon Wallock opened his mouth wide, and the obscure and difficult dragon language echoed amidst the interweaving of fire and ice.

Before Lynn could escape the realm, he suddenly felt the air around him turn sticky like glue, his body becoming exceptionally heavy.

Immediately after, an intense sense of danger manifested in his mind. Without hesitation, Lynn shifted from offense to defense, and with a surge of magic power, a myriad of invisible diamond-shaped crystals materialized in an instant.

[Ice Sealing Purgatory!]

Almost at the next moment, a high-pitched dragon roar sounded again. Elements filled with Soul Power exploded violently in the void. Numerous microscopic ice blades, along with the sub-zero temperatures of minus two hundred degrees Celsius, swept across the entire realm, even momentarily suppressing the blazing Undying Flame.

Dozens of Screaming Demons, which had been too close and were accidentally caught in the realm, turned directly into ice sculptures, their bodies crumbling away layer by layer from the cellular level, turning to ash in an instant...

Lynn, sheltered beneath a graphene shield, although spared from becoming a frozen sculpture, found himself steadily descending.

At first, he thought it was the influence of the Realm of the Dead, yet he soon realized his fall had nothing to do with the colossal skeletal dragon before him.

There was an inexplicable pulling force from the ground, dragging him downward.

Was it a technique similar to a No-fly Barrier?

Lynn quickly scanned the locations where magic reactions were strongest, finding a dozen necromancers amidst the army of undead below, working together to cast the barrier spell.

He was not powerless against this force, but with the aerial advantage compromised by the skull dragon's realm, his flying was greatly restricted and no longer had the upper hand in speed.

As he considered his options, the Winter Dragon Wallock had already dived down, ready to unleash another powerful frost breath.

This time, without the barrier of flames, Lynn could clearly see the hideous wraiths struggling painfully within the icy breath, emitting silent wails of agony...

Being struck would be no joke. Lynn's expression grew stern, but still, he had no intention of resorting to a nuclear spell.

Firstly, Rafael and the others hadn't escaped far enough. Secondly, a mere legendary bone dragon was not worth the kind of mutual destruction entailed by such a technique, at least not without locating the enemy commander first!

"Hehe... It seems the outcome has been decided." The Witch-King Cecil, watching a man and a dragon plummet from the sky, couldn't help but burst into weird laughter.

Admittedly, his opponent this time was quite troublesome. That kind of fire magic that instantly devoured tens of thousands of undead was indeed memorable, and only an idiot like Wallock would act hastily without understanding the depth of his adversary.

Cecil found this rather amusing and it worked to his advantage. Otherwise, it would have taken considerable effort to probe the upper limits of his opponent's capabilities.

Suddenly, the Soul Fire flickering in Cecil's eyes intensified, and he immediately turned, looking towards the distant sky to his right, and spoke in a hoarse voice,

"A living being has broken through the detection spell I set up. Shado, follow them and locate the Space-Time Gate. Wait until they arrive before killing them, then bring back their corpses and souls!"

The Night Demon, called Shado, immediately took the order and led some of the Screaming Demons, wraiths, and undead flying beasts on the periphery, chasing in the direction Cecil had indicated.

But before they could get far, a powerful laser beam swept past them. Hundreds of Screaming Demons were bisected by the strike, and the Night Demon named Shado nearly got halved as well.

"Still have the strength to resist?" The Witch-King Cecil couldn't help but be surprised. It seemed that his adversary was more tenacious than he had anticipated.
