I Created Scientific Magic

Chapter 428: This Is My Final Magic—The Big Nuclear Explosion Technique! (Two in One)

[The Bible of Hell, Volume III, Chapter XII, the wicked shall be cast into hell to endure the punishment of flaying!]

Memories of the hell described in the Bible surfaced in Lynn's mind, with one such part being the Purgatory of Flaying, meant to punish the wicked!

The monsters before them were the executioners; their faces were bloody messes with five holes—two for eyes, two for nostrils, and one for the mouth.

Their limbs twisted grotesquely, their skin seemingly peeled away, leaving nothing but bloody muscle and bone. In their hands were the knives used for execution, and like a group of walking corpses, they staggered towards them with strange gaits...

Commoners or apprentices would have been scared out of their wits by such a terrifying sight, yet Harrov and the others showed no response.

They understood these were but cannon fodder Lucia used to obstruct their movements!

But to think that such feeble enemies alone could stop them in their tracks was vastly underestimating themselves!

"Dissolving Beam!"

Harrov took action.

With a single strike, the executioners blocking their path were torn apart by an invisible force, reduced to clumps of mangled flesh that, as if alive, still attracted one another, seemingly trying to coalesce.

Fortunately, before they could reassemble, the blazing Undying Flame swept up, turning these remnants into bloody froth...

Using Chlorotrifluoride that could devour certain elements was naturally perfect for dealing with these regenerative monsters!

But Lynn quickly noticed that through the surging flames, a towering figure burst forth.

It was a gigantic monster, different from the other executioners; so tall it almost touched the cavern ceiling, its brawny figure already corroded to a skeleton by the Undying Flame, yet it seemed unaware, wielding a several-meter-long fiery hammer, swinging it down at them with full force.

"Seal!" Vittorio murmured, and chains made from alchemy runes emerged from his realm, binding the gigantic monster's arms, waist, and neck.

Then Harrov shattered it with a Great Decomposition Technique!

"I sense Spiritual Energy and the power of the Evil God within these monsters," Vittorio said seriously.

The enemy possibly had imprisoned the souls of those they had killed here, giving birth to these monsters. The projected purgatory was spitting image of the one described in the Bible, causing Vittorio deep concern.

How far had the opponent gone; even just an avatar possessed such formidable power.

Pat... Pat...

Suddenly, clear footsteps unexpectedly echoed behind them.

Everyone's expression changed dramatically.

The hard rocky ground beneath their feet had turned into a muddy bog. With Lucia's strength, leaving such an obvious flaw wasn't possible unless she had no intention of concealing herself, or--she was intentionally imposing mental pressure on them!

With that thought, the previously clear path ahead twisted, with layers of blood-red silk threads surging from the walls, completely sealing the way forward.

By now, Lucia's figure had already appeared behind the group, cutting off their retreat.

Harrov and the others immediately abandoned any thoughts of escape, clearly understanding that the entire mine was under the opponent's control, and even their full effort might not suffice for escape.

Moreover, they had spent a great deal of effort to finally find an opportunity to lure out this Holy Maiden from the Church, and they had to capture her at all costs this time!

Aurora raised her hand, and surrounding her, lightning flickered, as a fearsome magnetic field formed almost instantly, with a dozen metal projectiles revolving in midair and propelled by electromagnetic force, they flew out, causing a sonic boom that split eardrums.

This was indeed the Electromagnetic Railgun invented by Lynn!

Aurora, having learned the relevant theory, naturally managed to replicate it. Although the casting was a bit hasty, and the railgun's speed did not reach twenty-five times the speed of sound, being only around six times the speed of sound, it was still deadly.

The Undying Flame that had just devoured the monsters burst forth instantaneously as well, incinerating the faces embedded in the tunnels' walls, turning into a column of intense fire sweeping towards Lucia!

The railgun, arriving first, covered fifty meters in just 0.025 seconds aided by the sixfold speed of sound!

However, the very moment the railgun was fired, its speed visibly decayed as the elements in the projection of the Divine Kingdom autonomously obstructed the metal projectiles...

Facing the barrage of the dozen railguns, Lucia remained unfazed, but she paid a bit more attention to the peculiar Undying Flame.

She was well acquainted with such flames and had encountered them more than once, understanding their tenacity and... the way to counter them!

Just before the metal projectiles and the fierce flames reached her, Lucia opened her mouth and gently exhaled.

Crack...

A chilling breath that seemed to freeze time and space itself burst forth from Lucia's mouth. It quickly spread outwards, solidifying the metal projectiles in the air, and the surging wave of fire was also frozen in place, quickly melting and dissipating...
