"Its still alive?"

Even with thousands of spears striking it was still alive and releasing more beats.

"Damn this thing is...sigh will go back to Alicia and ask for her help, I'm sure she has a solution for this.

He turned to leave only for the beast to suddenly pause.

Then, it looked up.

No eyes, no mouth in its twisted skull but somehow, it had felt Apollo's presence.

It screamed.

The sound was hollow, and the forest suddenly felt distorted at the edges of the clearing. The snow twisted, then froze midair. The beasts below froze too then turned, hundreds of them, shifting focus toward Apollo's position.

A wary smile escape from his lips as the spear suddenly multiply into ten thousand.

"Wow you guys really wanna die?"

"Should I just disintegrate them? I dont think they can negate skills, but why not give it a try"

He induced the tip of the spear's blade with the skill disintegrate, using it to instantly kill those around him. The black rain fell down with each of the spears locked on the target they all struck.

As soon as the spears stab and puncture the beasts that tried to attack. The skill inside the spear immediately activated. The bodies of the fallen began to let and soon became dust that instantly swayed by the wind.

All sorts of roars came in and Apollo is aware that those beasts are attacking more aggressively, desperate to get their mother to safety. Unfortunately their killer is heartless for those who he considers as enemy. So even when they wince and beg to be spared the spear still flew and killed them.

[Creator in coming!]

Jeremiah warned and Apollo looked at it before using the cluster of spears to intercept it. A huge explosion happened and once the smoke was gone Apollo noticed something.

"That thing escapes?"

He was annoyed, so annoyed

With his annoyance increasing the more the clouds turn darker and scarier.

"Ah, we marked that thing right?"

[Yes we did Creator]

Sinister laughter came from his lips as his desire for destruction came. A black matter began rising from his body as his lust for blood increased.

The mind is hindered by 80%]

His annoyance turns to anger, and that anger turns into bloodlust.

"Just you wait I will put all of you in pieces"

And so a chase had begun.

Back at the Fortress

Alicia's flames dimmed, her breathing slightly ragged as she looked At the place where that one Apollo went.

Curious she looked at the Apollo beside her and asked.

"Apollo, what the hell is happening over there? I just felt everything freeze for a second"

Hearing that question Apollo couldn't help but scratch the back of his head then he answered, "I think it saw me."

"What? You mean that thing in the pictures? I thought you weren't supposed to be found?"

"I thought so. I think the Fragment is learning. It's adapting. No worries I can handle it, I already found ways to kill it. We just need to keep the line stable until everything is finished"

"Yeah sure"

Back to the other Apollo who is still chasing after the fleeing enemy.

"How can something so big and disgusting be so fast!"

> Creator I already locked in its location. The estimated time we arrive is about 8 minutes.]

Then an image came to Apollo's view showing the line of beasts that are protecting their mother.

"Hah! They better be fast, or this chase will be boring"

In the Forest

Apollo dove through the trees, his space layer warping violently as dozens of corrupted beasts broke through it.

"God damnit did that beast just create a space jamming!"

[That jamming was from the fragments, and as expected its affective against authorities]

"Tsk so I had no choice but to manually chase after them!"

Lightning suddenly pulsed to its maximum while Jeremiah had boosted Apollo's speed.

[Creator it seems some of its children are coming here]

"Yeah and a very colorful bunch with a mix of affinity with elements"

Apollo created another layer of weapons one that resembles Nebula, he then duces it with the power of heavenly bodies.

"Since you guys are imune to elements let me use the power of the stars"

A galaxy like blade formed and flew into the enemies, some dodged some attacks but the power that came from the stars repelled any force that tried to stop it.

[Beware from behind]

A volley of dark ice bolts shattered trees behind him. Apollo spun midair, flicking a glowing orb that produces Gravity, which created a pulse that flattened the landscape. The pursuing hidden beasts were crushed under invisible pressure.

However it was still alive, a relentless insect that despite the debuff still tried to defend its mother.

To make matters worse more still followed.

He flicked his hand, activating a hidden sequence from the orbs. A magic circle opened under him. The gravity pulled those that tried to pursue crashing them until they died.

"Nebula"

He summon and rhe the sword fly through the space warp that the broodmother made. An opening was made and Apollo seize that moment. He vanished—teleporting just above the mangled pile of flesh, some of the spears were still there and upon Apollo's arrival. He activated the remaining nano machines and made them explode.

Snow and blood blew in the wind.

The mysterious beast growl its body bleeding unable to heal due to the nano machines that Apollo inserted inside its body.

[Its children are still alive]

"I see I should really finished them"

Apollo was about to create another round of weapons when Jeremiah spoke once more.

> [Creator, it seems like sir Gavin made his move quite fast. He already informed the other mages from the tower and now they are searching for these beasts]

Hearing this made Apollo make an expression of annoyance.

"They are arriving right when I was about to kill this thing"

*Sigh*

Apollo raise his hand and a mechanical soldier made from mithril. Then he makes another one that carries weapons quite similar to the weapons that still embed on the beasts.

[They are coming this way, it seems they noticed the pulses of mana that we are releasing. We should retreat and make it look like the mechanical soldier did it]

Apollo nodded.

"Good. We should go and help the other me."

He looked at the sky still dim, still snowing, and far from peaceful.

"Let's see why don't we investigate this instead"

While he disappears he hears another thing from Jeremiah.

[By the way Happy new year Creator]

Hearing that Apollo can't help but laugh but still he replied.

"Happy new year Jeremiah, please continue to take care of me in this year as well"

"Lets find a place to think" he then went into the sky flying high into it.

"Hmm? Let's see, ah why don't I use the authority of time to see the past of those beast, I am sure I could find something"

He then teleported to the place where the other him had restraint the unknown disgusting broodmother.

"Let's see" he use the authority of time in the firest instead of directily using it on the beasts. They have some immunity on it so it won't produce the results he wanted.

Everything played back on his mind, there weren't any kind of strange events so Apollo went further into the past.

Then he stumbled a certain memory back in November.

A group of hooded came into the picture and walk right into the forest. Apollo followed them and there he saw them feeding a strange fruit to a rat broodmother. Upon consuming that flesh visible changes immediately happened and Apollo already knows what is going to happen next.

[The possibility of someone replicated Dominos' research. Perhaps even used his failed research materials to make this]

"Yeah let's follow the past of this people" Apollo then manipulated the time and went into the past of that mysterious group. He followed them until he them meeting with a strange person, he was rhe the one who brought the fruit to the group. After that Apollo followed that person wanting to know ehre exactly the fruit came from.

Apollo looked confused that anither person cane to bring the fruit then anither came, and then another one. It was basically someone ordering another person to bring the fruit. Apollo even saw a beggar being ordered in promise of money. And after following so many random people Apollo finally found the source of the trouble.

"Hah! So it was you after all. My why dont I feel surprised"

Apollo stated as he saw a girl he was well familiar with. A girl that is well love by a certain Lionheart.

"Ah, what was her name again I forgot about it, ah! Her name is bitch"
