I Can Assimilate Everything

Chapter 283: Regulation I

Achilles gazed upward.

The golden cloud of Planar Destiny shimmered above him- something he had never seen, never sensed… until now.

Now that it was revealed, it called to him.

Or really, he called to it.

His heartbeat was calm.

Too calm.

His mind didn't spiral with questions. There was no hesitation, no philosophical pondering on whether what he wanted to do was even possible.

Only one truth throbbed through his being.

Assimilate it…and assimilate it now before it disappeared before his eyes.

His palm lifted, golden starlight forming at his fingertip, condensed into a precise, humming thread of Solar Essence.

A thread that was an extension of himself.

Of his identity.

Of his Right.

HUUM!

The beam of starlight shot upward, piercing the golden cloud above his head without resistance.

And then…

'ASSIMILATE!'

…!

The world around him shook.

A low tremor passed through the entire Vessel of Adrastia. The golden rivers pulsed. The trees trembled. The skies cracked ever so faintly.

Achilles' body lit up.

His veins surged with pure purple-gold light as his Adrastia Emperor King Lineage responded violently, the very architecture of his DNA twisting with resonance.

The glowing golden cloud above his head... staggered.

It quivered.

Almost like it was alive.

Almost like it was... shocked.

Then…

WAA!

The cloud collapsed into itself and became liquid golden light, an unseen current that only the blessed could perceive.

A flood.

A downpour.

A descent of invisible Destiny.

Into him.

Into his existence!

Into the one being arrogant enough to not just look upon Planar Destiny… but consume it!

Rose took a step back, her mouth slightly open.

Thorndike and Lancelot could do nothing but stare.

Even Dr. Shaw's eyes blinked in disbelief.

And Sun…

The Mythological Monkey King stood up sharply on his branch, his tail stiffened in pure disbelief.

"...you… what did you just do?!"

His voice cracked with something rare- genuine shock.

"Nobody can touch Planar Destiny! You can't manipulate it. You can't harm it. You can't even interact with it. Just observe, observe and maybe weep from a distance of how grand it is! You…!"

His gaze was incredulous as he pointed his staff forward!

He stopped.

Because the entire golden cloud above Achilles had vanished.

Not scattered.

Not hidden.

Assimilated.

Achilles said nothing.

He simply stood tall, golden light dripping from his skin like molten reality as his body adapted to what it had taken in.

Inside him…

A new sea of Assimilation lit up.

Bright gold!

[Organic Planar Regulation – Destiny Echelon 1 44%]:: A never-before-seen assimilation derived from direct absorption of manifested Planar Destiny. Enables you to perceive, influence, and partially control the strands of fate and destiny that guide lifeforms, events, and phenomena within your dimensional scope.

Newly Unlocked Qualities:

[Thread of Inevitability – Rank I]:: Allows you to perceive golden threads tied to people and events. Once locked onto a single target's "Thread," you can choose to slightly accelerate or delay a destined outcome-whether it's death, success, betrayal, or union. Cooldown depends on how significant the event is.

[Fatebound Authority – Rank I]:: You can imprint a fragment of your will onto a fate-bound scenario, giving you partial authority over the direction it takes. For example, you could hijack a prophecy or redirect a sacrificial destiny to an enemy instead.

[Destined Regression – Rank I]:: Rewinds a minor localized time by 3–5 seconds for only one person, undoing a fatal mistake or recapturing a lost opportunity. This technique becomes stronger the higher the Echelon of Planar Regulation becomes.

[Weight of Chosen Paths – Rank I]:: Unleashes a dome of Planar Pressure that targets enemies with the "weight of their destined sins." The more monstrous their fate was meant to be, the heavier their bodies become- immobilizing or outright crushing certain targets who were destined to commit atrocities.

…!

As the data etched into his existence, Achilles blinked once, golden starlight flowing behind his pupils.

Rose stared at him.

Sun's mouth was still open.

And Achilles… only spoke now, after the golden glow faded.

"It is merely a cloud of my Destiny," he said softly, coldly. "And I just took it inside of me."

…!

Far from the Vessel of Adrastia…

Within the Sea of Thalassara, beneath luminous skies woven with aquamarine light, the Primordial Avatar of Achilles stood atop a crystalline plateau that rose from the waves like a throne of starlit coral.

Steam drifted from the air as molten shapes hissed and cooled beside him- Living Cataclysmic Star Weapons, freshly forged from his ideas, scattered across the gleaming battlefield of his forge.

And yet, he had stopped.

His hand hovered above an unshaped alloy, molten gold and violet freezing in mid-form.

His eyes…

Had risen to the skies.

For the first time, he was seeing them truly.

Golden clouds. Vivid. Swirling. Dense.

Planar Destiny!

He hadn't noticed them before as only after assimilating the clouds made visible by the Monkey King could he now see!

The moment his main body had broken that boundary of destiny with Assimilation.

And now…he could see that the skies above the Adrastia Continent were littered with vibrant clouds of gold.

Tens of millions of them.

For every Adrastian soul… a golden current of unseen force had been floating right above their heads.

Power.

Potential.

Fate.

And it was ripe.

It was why Ancient Ones sought to enslave Humans of this Age!

The Primordial Avatar lifted both hands into the air, Solar light whirling madly around his palms, forming multiple threads of pure Solar Assimilation Beams.

Beams of light that shot up and acted as his extension!

At thid moment, he targetted the Planar Destiny gatheted by the people he had raised to the skies, intent on seeing just how grand everything could be!

He spoke, voice quiet but gloriously ironclad.

"Assimilate."

HUUM!

Dozens of golden clouds shattered into threads and poured into his body.

The stars trembled. The oceans rippled. The coral reef fractured from the pressure as Destiny itself was pulled down like rain from the glorious skies!
