I Become Master of Danger Zones as Incubus With Mastery In Genetic

Chapter 809: 229

Alanor's plan was simple, yet difficult in the same vein. First, he needed to get her explosive near the S-ranker. And not just one, but all of it at the same time, as the resulting explosion would be large and strong enough to cripple the man.

To accomplish that, the usage of something to cover the explosive would be required, plus better illusion. For the former, he get Fiora to aid him, using her plants to cover his explosive.

For the latter, Ionin came in clutch. Her illusion was good enough that the S-ranker did not even notice the presence of the plant until it was a too late.

Yet, even as the explosive engulfed the S-ranker, Alanor did not dare to believe the man is dead. Doing so before she could see the corpse is the height of stupidity. So, to ensure the man is as dead as he could be, she belayed the order,

"Fire everything you have at him!"

While all her explosion potion gone, Alanor could still cast Spells, with some in her repository would not lose out to her explosion potion.

Besides her Fireball, large thorns and boulders flew at the man's direction, while illusion hide them, causing their target to see nothing flying in towards him.

The bewildered S-ranker, still recovering from the explosion, didn't sense the incoming projectiles, resulting in several thorns managing to skewer him and boulders hitting him, hard.

Yet, even impaled by impressive sized thorns, the S-ranker merely grunted. In pain, but still standing, somehow.

Once more, Alanor couldn't help but be impressed by the vitality of S-rankers. However, the fight was already over. The S-ranker didn't just know it yet.

Furim let out a bloody cough. His body were hurting all over, yet the Marshal did not intend on dying yet. If he was going to die, he will be bringing the Witches down with him. At least, they will not ascend as High Witch.

Gathering Aura to his blade one last time, the Marshal prepared himself for a suicide charge, his body ready to explode, literally, in a large Auric explosion.

Yet, just as he was about to take the first step, something stabbed him.

"Uurrghh!" Furim coughed up more blood, as he looked down on his chest.

There, a dagger come through it, coming out from where his heart is, or was. More blood leaked out of his mouth, as the dagger was pulled out, causing blood to flow even faster from the new hole on his body.

His legs went limp, as strength left his body. The Marshal of Ravus Kingdom fell forward, his knees falling first, before the rest of his body soon followed.

As life slowly left him, Furim struggled to look at the one who delivered the final blow. With great agony, he managed to turn his head slightly to the left, allowing him to glimpse at the Witch.

The purple-haired Witch, which he never saw before, walked towards the rest of the Witches.

'N-no, not like this.' Yet, even as he struggled, the Marshal could do nothing but coughed out blood and twitched, his body growing colder as he finally died.

When Furim died, both Marius and Elna sensed it. The changes was subtle, but to them, it was as clear as day.

From the flow of the energy that grew even more in the direction of Furim and how his Aura slowly dissipating from this world. Both S-rankers knew the Marshal finally bite the dust.

"Furim, no/ Damn it!" both cursed the Witches for taking down a dear friend of theirs. With rage in their eyes, they turned their attention to the Witches trapped with them, their Aura roaring as they took their vengeance on the other Witches first, before killing the one who killed the Marshal.

Hildegard could tell the group lead by Alanor had succeed from the flow of Mana heading in their direction. She could also tell that by how angry her group's current adversary was acting.

Unfortunately, while being angry would usually made the person easier to defeat, as that person would be acting irrationally, it was not completely true against an S-ranker.

The S-ranker did exhibit his fury by almost charging towards them, but caught himself at the very last moment. The man took a deep breath, before his golden eyes stared at her direction, like he was trying to kill her with a glare.

Without any signs, the S-ranker leap towards her, swinging his blade as he jumped. Hildegard barely put up a Mana Barrier to block the attack, almost losing her life in that moment.

Even with the Mana Barrier between her and the blade aiming for her neck, the blonde Witch did not feel safe. Not when the Mana Barrier began to crack, the sound akin to explosion to her ears.

Fortunately, she was not alone. The Witches with her quickly casted Mana Barrier on top of hers, adding layers of security, though how long would that last, she did not intend on testing it.

Jumping back, the blonde Elder Witch assess the state of her foe. The S-ranker managed to control himself, but the labored breath told her that the man was doing all he can to control his rage.

Sure enough, the harsh breathing become softer as her fellow Witches gathered around her. Before, they spread themselves to as to not give him a large concentration of target.

However, such thinking was thrown away as working together would be the best chance for them to stay alive, much less kill the S-ranker.

She glanced to her side, meeting the eyes of Zena and Lilura. Both prepared their spells, the former making her wand longer and stronger, while the latter turned her palm into one similar to a large cat.

Besides Zena, ravens and black cats gathered, ready to assist the redhead. Hildegard also did not stay idle, casting similar spell to what Zena did.

Although she couldn't see behind her, no doubt both Isel and Hayley did their own preparation. And they will need it as the S-ranker's aura swirled violently around the man, with the Magic Circle barely restraining it.
