I Become Master of Danger Zones as Incubus With Mastery In Genetic

Chapter 632: 52

Ardent's eyes twitched, hearing the insult thrown at his beloved village. Sure, it is probably not the best place to live on the region, much less the entire world, but it is still his home. And these lot want to ruin it.

'Oh, I'm going to show you lot you mess with the wrong village.'

As the invasion force marched, they noticed the earth shaking. They quickly put up their guards, looking warily all around while using their abilities to detect the source of the shaking.

It was the 4th Circle Mage who detect it first, before bellowing a warning,

"Below!" Every member of the invasion force had their eyes bulging before they leap away. Few seconds after, roots, vines and all manner of plants erupted underneath, rushing to the escaping soldiers with vengeance.

"Protect yourself!" the leader yelled, quickly casting barrier around himself and other soldiers and Mages around him.

The 3rd Circle Mages and 1st Rank Aura Users followed, with the former combining their power to create a larger Barrier while the latter saved others with their impressive speed.

However, even with the combined might of all 3rd Circle Mages to create a powerful Barrier that encompassed a large area, the vines easily break through it, before wrapping itself around the Mages.

The Aura Users fared the same fate, their speed unable to escape the faster vines.

"Where does all of this come from?!" his second-in-command, the sole 3rd Rank Aura Expert exclaimed. He could not answer, though he was searching for the source.

Yet, he could not find the source which is a bad news, since there should be no reason for him to not be able to detect Mana of the spell or anomaly.

"I think I have a guess, but you won't like it." The 4th Circle Mage calmly said, hiding the terror budding in his heart.

"Well, I don't like anything happening around us anyway, so tell me." the other man insisted. Oh, he will rue asking the question.

"It's a 5th Circle Mage." the 3rd Rank Aura Expert blinked before laughing like a madman.

"Oh, you can't be serious. Why would there be a 5th Circle Mage in the region, much less this place?" he said, incredulity in his tone. The 4th Circle Mage was about to answer, but someone else did.

"What if the place is his home, and he did not like anyone invading his home?" immediately, pressure formed from overwhelming Mana pressed on them both.

'Not just the two of us.' the 4th Circle Mage immediately realized. He can sense the entire area being enveloped by Mana, trying to squish the others as well.

With great struggle, he and the 3rd Rank Aura Expert raised their heads, trying to have a look at the 5th Circle Mage in question.

However, when their eyes laid upon the person itself, they both wondered if their sight was lose. For the person flying above them is a child, no, a teen who barely pass his childhood.

"Wha-" "Silence." the unleashed Mana released from his just speaking immediately dash any thought of the teen not being a 5th Circle Mage. The pressure alone surpass the strongest 4th Circle Mage of Cruom City, but far.

The teen slowly descended, getting in front of them before taking a seat. The seat in question being created literal seconds before.

As the teen plopped himself on top of it, he stare at them, his eyes piercing through their soul, or so they felt like it.

"So, you want to invade my village?" the teen spat out, his tone more venomous than any serpent he had ever meet.

"N-no..." the 3rd Rank Aura Expert answered, hiding the fact they planned to invade the village. However, the look on the teen's face convey his disbelief, before it turned into anger.

He squeezed his fist. The vines wrapped itself around the Aura User, before it started to crush him, the wrapping tightening itself.

"I suggest you to not lie." he exclaimed, as the 4th Circle Mage swore he heard something breaking.

'I hope it's not anything important.' the Mage prayed before looking straight into the child eyes.

"Yes. Under the order of the City Lord and Council, we are task to attack the village, your village." the Mage said in a subservient tone. If any of his equal and colleagues see him like this, it will bring a lot of teasing and insult.

However, since he was facing someone far stronger than him, and that was still understanding it, he doubt anyone could do better than him. Or at least those with desire to live.

The teen walked toward him, a hand under his chin before he lightly pushed it up, "Tell me. Who order the invasion? I want name or there will be a new mass grave in this site." his voice was low, borderline a whisper. Except, said whisper was heard by everyone.

The soldiers chattered, sharing their anxiety and fear as the 3rd Circle Mages and 1st Rank Aura Users paled considerably. Since they insulted his village, they were right to be very afraid.

The 4th Circle Mage swallowed his saliva, deciding if he want to throw his leader under the moving wagon.

"The City Lord, Lord Grulnar, Advisor Tral,..." the answer is yes. As the Mage said more name, the teen's eyes narrowed further, until his eyes look like a single line.

"I see. And there are no one who want to take advantage of doing unspeakable thing." his eyes turned all over the place.

Immediately, the Mage wondered why he did not bought any brown pants.

"Now, listen here. I give you a chance to live. Either you join my side, and defend the village while telling us any intel, or I can kill you. So what is your choice?" Despite the pressure pushing him to the ground, his legs shake horribly, showing the insane amount of terror he was feeling at the moment.

Not hearing any answer for sometime, the teen repeated his question,

"So, what is your choice? Death, or living?"
