Chapter 609: 29
Ardent looked at the direction of the dungeon. Sensing his gaze, Catlin pinched his thigh, giving him an 'I dare you,' look.
"Don't even think about going back to the dungeon until you get some sleep, Mister." she warned him.
"Alright, Catlin. I will not go to the dungeon until I get some much needed rest. But, if there is any danger to the village, then-"
"Yes, I will wake you up. Now, go to sleep Mister!" Catlin exclaimed as she pushed him on the bed, getting him to lie down.
Ardent obliged, closing his eyes and letting himself drifting into a quick slumber.

As it turns out, Ardent was exhausted, resulting in him sleeping from the morning to the next morning. Thankfully, there are no danger near the village. Well, danger that require him to take action at least. The occasional wild beasts and bandits will not stop being a threat after all.
After the much needed sleep, Ardent cleaned himself before having a talk with his parents, and little sister, Runa.
Which is a long and tedious talk, but overall, necessary for him. To him.
'I don't know I need a good talking from mom... Looks like I consider her as my real mother now, huh?'
Ardent did not know when, but when he just transmigrated, a part of him consider himself as Grace's son, a part of him did not, due to his mental age being older than the plump woman. However, as he continue living in this new world, he started to think of Grace as his real mother.
'Looks like I finally accept that fact.' he continue his thought process while heading to the dungeon.

Ardent could see the outside of the dungeon, or the outpost to be exact, had been rebuild. It was not surprising, considering the number of Aura User and Mages around the entrance.
As he fly down, the guards pointed their spear at him but stopped when they saw who it was.
"Master Ardent!" yeah, Ardent will not dig into the sudden change of title. Then again, if he continue the route he planned on, he will become a King, so, practice?
"Report." he calmly ordered. The guards exchanged look, not knowing what to report, except for his best friend.
"There are an addition of 20 Aura User among the guards. 5 Aura User had reached the 2nd Rank Aura User, while 2 manage to become 1st Rank Aura User.
As for Mage, there are 2 more that become 2nd Circle Mages while seven added to the rank of 1st Circle Mage."
Ardent nodded at Frank's report. "The dungeon help improve the quality of our combatants. Keep up the good work. And, are there any changes?" Ardenf can easily check it himself, but it will require him to enter into the depth of the dungeon and check it himself.
It's better to remain outside and only come in when he was sure the 2nd floor had been added.
"Hmmmm," Frank was thinking heart, but it seem he was not certain by what Ardent meant by changes most likely.
"I think, the Mages said something about another floor beginning to form-" Frank did not get to finish his report when Ardent barged into the dungeon.
"... go back to work!" Frank yelled, deciding to let his best friend and current strongest person of the village to inspect the dungeon himself.

"Master Ardent!" Calais greeted him, bowing slightly. Ardent nodded at the blonde before looking at the new passage.
"Have anyone try to enter the next floor?" Ardent asked the gathered Mages. All of them have gathered around the new entrance, one leading deeper into the dungeon, though hopefully, they still possess a good head on their shoulder.
"No Master Ardent. We planned on condoning this area off, and see what will come out of the new floor." Calais replied, though his eyes shone with curious light, no doubt interested in the next floor.
Unsurprising as the first floor had helped him a lot with reaching the next Circle. A new floor can likely do the same.
"Three of you, remain. Calais, pick one and the two of you will follow me to inspect this new floor." Ardent ordered.
Calais nodded before picking one of the Mages. The other three looked dissatisfied, but did not dare to disobey.
And so, Ardent entered the new floor with two Mages. Read the latest on My Virtual Library Empire

When they enter the 2nd floor, all three of them gasped.
"... I know the dungeon is in another place and not actually build under the boulder, but only here I can be certain of it," Calais muttered.
Ardent did not blame him. Despite sharing some similarities to the previous floor, which is the same cavern look, that's where the similarity ended.
The cavern of the 2nd floor is more vast, able to hold contain a small village in the places they have seen so far. And the top, Ardent could barely make it out, the ceiling so high in the 2nd floor.
"Let's continue going forward. I want to explore the 2nd floor and see if there is anything that can be helpful to us." the other Mages nodded, sharing the thought with him.
As they pressed forward, the group did not met with any monsters, so far at least. However, Ardent could tell it was about to end when he sensed something at the front.
"Stop." the group stopped at his command, their guards up. They knew the strongest Mage will give them such order for a good reason.
Sure enough, a bunch of goblins stepped out of the shadow. Unlike the one in the previous floor, these ones looked stronger, with some even having weapon made out of stone, or something similar to it.
"Fight them," at his command, the Mages launched their spells. The goblins quickly reacted, with some jumping away in time. Most did not get to do that in time, dying to a Firebolt, Water Pulse, and Ice Spear, which were launched repeatedly to kill the goblins as quickly as possible.
As for the survivor, Ardent cleaned it up with a single swipe of his hand, drowning all of them without even trying.
