Chapter 0 - Waaah...(Damn...)
Chapter 0 – Waaah…(Damn…)
I’m dying.
They say everyone dies someday, but I didn’t think it would be now.
‘Those damn teammates…’
My teammates betrayed me.
And they joined hands with the worst villain.
To think I was laughing and chatting with them yesterday, not knowing…
‘At least… I made a will.’
‘And what else is there…’
That was it – just instructions to donate all my assets to the orphanage I regularly supported.
‘Tsk… ha… is that the last attachment to my life?’
‘Haha… hahahaha…’
The taste of fresh blood fills my mouth.
I always got beaten up fighting villains, but this taste was on a completely different level.
‘I… helped this world… didn’t I?’
I raised my hand toward the brightly shining moon.
‘I miss mom.’
I never met her since birth, but I still miss her.
And so I slowly closed my eyes.

I closed my eyes.
I died.
I definitely died, but…
‘Hey… wake up. If you sleep here, your face will get crooked.’
I heard someone calling me.
I opened my eyes to see who the voice belonged to.
‘Oh? You’re awake.’
A beautiful woman with brown hair greeted me cheerfully as I opened my eyes.
‘Who are you?’
‘Me? Umm… the Primordial Mother?’
‘Maman?’
‘How vulgar.’
‘But that’s the only word I could think of.’
‘Yes, you were that kind of child.’
The woman who smiled gently at me introduced herself as Gaia, the Primordial Mother.
But Gaia is…
‘Incest.’
‘Hey!’
‘How could she have sex with her own son?’
‘Hey!’
‘How could she give birth to a child who’s her great-grandson’s age?’
‘Stop it…’
Gaia was smiling, but it wasn’t really a smile.
‘Sorry.’
‘Usually when other humans see me, they either lust after me or don’t believe me. Do you believe that I’m Gaia?’
‘Yes.’
‘Why?’
‘First, the energy you emit is different from ordinary humans, and it’s slightly similar to those who use mythical-type abilities, but it feels much more condensed than theirs.’
‘Are you really an elemental type?’
‘Yes, and a low-tier ice type at that.’
‘But you reached the pinnacle of human strength with just that?’
‘Right?’
‘That’s impressive…’
Gaia looked at me as if she had made some decision.
‘Don’t you want revenge on those who betrayed you?’
‘No.’
‘Huh?’
Gaia was taken aback, as if she hadn’t expected this response.
‘Why? I’m telling you that you can get revenge on those who betrayed you.’
‘Don’t want to.’
‘Don’t tell me you’re one of those PC idiots who thinks ‘revenge isn’t the right way’ or some crap like that?’
‘It’s not that, it’s just bothersome.’
‘What?’
‘It’s bothersome. Why should I take revenge? I already worked my ass off.’
‘Hah…’
Gaia sighed and suddenly started clapping.
-Clap clap clap clap clap!
‘Are you crazy?’
‘No, I’m congratulating you.’
‘Why?’
‘This was a trial.’
‘That was super easy.’
‘Haha….’
‘But if I passed, shouldn’t there be some kind of reward?’
‘….You sharp bastard.’
‘Thank you, thank you.’
Gaia suddenly created something like a portal and gestured with her hand for me to enter.
‘Go in.’
‘Huh?’
‘If you go in here, it’ll be really fun.’
‘No.’
‘Get in if you don’t want to get beaten up.’
‘This continued coercion makes me anxious~’
‘Just get in.’
Gaia picked me up from where I had collapsed and before throwing me into the portal, I asked her.
‘But why me? There are plenty of people who died unfairly besides me.’
‘That’s why you should hurry up and go in.’
‘I don’t wanna!’
‘…..’
‘I’m kidding, just tell me why you chose me.’
‘Do you really want to know?’
‘Yes.’
Gaia took a deep breath and began to explain.
‘I’ve been watching your 20 years of life.’
‘….Why.’
‘Because among all the humans I’ve seen, you looked the most pitiful.’
Gaia gave me a sympathetic look.
‘So I want to make you happy.’
‘Okay. I don’t know what’s in there, but I’ll go in for now.’
‘Thank you.’
‘I should be the one thanking you for giving me a new life.’
Gaia threw me into the portal and shouted.
‘That place!!! It’s created for the life where you can live most happily, so live enjoyably!!!!!! Find pretty love!!!’
‘And I’ve put in a cute gift too, so look forward to it.’
And so Gaia’s voice faded away, and my vision went dark.
After some time passed, I heard loud noises in my ears.
As I slowly opened my eyes, I saw many people looking at me and a boy in hanbok next to me, cooing over how cute we were.
That wasn’t the problem, but the biggest issue now was that the hanbok I was wearing was meant for a little girl, and my lower half felt very exposed.
‘Waah…’ (Shit…)
