I Became My Healer Elf Character

Chapter 146: The Binding of a Dragon and an Elf

Hikari turned around repeatedly in her white dress. She had a tiara on her forehead, and she looked like a princess ready to be whisked away to a prince. Though, her prince charming was a silly dragon girl. She wondered what Kurayami would look like. Would she have a dress, or would she wear a nice suit?

The elf smiled into the mirror. She looked so vulnerable in her current attire. Hikari had no idea how Aiko had made this elegant, frilly dress, but she sensed that it was lacking in the magical enchantments of her normal robes. She hesitated to inspect it but ultimately chose not to.

Hikari felt that if she thought too long about what was going to happen, she'd start to cry. Her heart thumped in her chest, and butterflies danced in her stomach. After staring at herself in the mirror for some time, a voice called out behind her.

Aiko placed her hand on Hikari's shoulder and smiled at the princess in the mirror. "You look so stunning today, dear."

Hikari's cheeks grew rosy. "I'm nervous."

"I know you are. It's okay to be nervous. That's what everyone is here for. This is a big day for you. You'll be just fine." Aiko smiled and looked at the clock in the room. "It's time."

Hikari nodded and wrapped her arm around Aiko's. When the elf walked out of the room, they were greeted by a fantastical cave. Glimmering rocks surrounded the grand room on all sides. The signature pink stones could be seen jutting out of the walls.

Indeed, they had made the venue for today Amelia's mountain. The cave was carved out for the event, and rows of seats were situated all around. Hikari had already ushered in the seeds of hope from her inventory. She'd sprinkled them onto a magic lantern, and the item spread the life to several different chairs.

Now, in the crowd, Hikari could see the former queen of Amalin. She saw some of the crystal dwarves she'd met. Rows of people from her journey were situated in the audience. The elf could even see Salazar in the front row, along with the former older brother Emperor of an Empire that no longer existed.

Of course, her future wives were also situated towards the front, along with a smiling Nona and Kai. Most importantly were the two people at the end of the aisle on the stage.

Kurayami wore a black suit that ended in a short flowing skirt. The black horns on her head were wrapped in gorgeous ribbons that flowed down her back. The girl's piercing orange eyes shone vividly. Her vibrant lips were tinted with a hint of red, and her cheeks had a blush that mirrored Hikari's.

The dragon shifted nervously on her plump, muscular legs. When Hikari approached up the steps, the dragon whispered to her. "You look amazing."

Hikari breathed a sigh of relief and both of her hands grabbed onto the dragon's extended hands. The elf's eyes darted around Kurayami's face and down her body. "You're beautiful yourself...and handsome. My own charming dragon."

Kurayami's smile grew wider.

Amelia cleared her throat next to them, and Hikari finally noticed that she was there to officiate their wedding.

The pink-haired goddess spoke over the venue. "Ladies and Gentlemen. We are gathered here today to honor a timeless tradition. The marriage of two souls who love each other deeply."

A round of applause started in the audience, and then Amelia continued.

"Today marks a turning point in the lives of everyone here, especially the two standing before you. This is the unprecedented marriage of a dragon goddess and an elven goddess. Never before has a ceremony like this taken place…"

Amelia continued her long speech.

The whole time, Hikari could not take her eyes off the dragon's face. Each second that passed was another that she wanted to kiss Kurayami's lips. Her heart grew impatient, but luckily, she didn't have to wait for long. She was finally addressed by the speaker.

"Do you, Hikari, The Goddess of Hope and Despair, take Kurayami to be your Husband?"

The way Amelia asked was as if she was unsure if she should call Kurayami a husband or wife.

A small giggle exited Hikari's mouth before she said. "I do."

"And do you, Kurayami, The Goddess of Dragons and Darkness, take Hikari to be your wife?"

The dragon smiled. "I do."

Two vibrant golden bracelets were presented to both of them. Each of the large bracelets were inscribed with runes of this world that held the meaning of vows. Hikari picked up the bracelet she'd adorn Kurayami with, and she grinned before snapping it around the dragon's wrist.

Inscribed on the bracelet were the vows that Hikari had made. I will love you forever and always. I will be your Hope, even if you're surrounded by darkness. I will do everything I can to make you happy. I will cherish you, even when you are feeling bad. And I will call upon you to help me, just as you can call upon me to help you.

The dragon smiled as each of the runes lit up in a vibrant white light. It was as if their meanings were etched into her very soul. Kurayami repeated what Hikari had done and snapped her bracelet to the end of Hikari's wrist.

Words flooded into Hikari's brain. I will love you until the end of time. I will be your strength when you can not call out. I will make you happy and fly with you among the stars. I will hold your hand and be your shoulder to cry on. And I will carry you wherever you want to go and be Hope's hope.

Tears ran down Hikari's cheeks, and her hands shivered. But the strong hands of the dragon were there to hold her. Her quaking hands were calmed by the dragon's.

Amelia smiled at the two holding hands. "By the power bestowed upon me as the Goddess of Light, I now pronounce you Husband and Bride." She channeled a pink light into the two of them, filling each of them with her blessing. Then the pink-haired goddess smiled towards Kurayami. "You may kiss your bride."

Kurayami grinned and parted some of Hikari's loose hair. The dragon bent down and raised Hikari's chin before their lips met.

Out of all of the kisses that Hikari had shared, none of them felt as electrifying as this one. All of the sensations were vivid. She felt the soft lips pressed against hers and the strong arm that pulled her close. All of her worries vanished into the distance, and the elf felt more alive than ever.

She submitted herself to this ultimate vulnerability of being seen like this in front of everyone. It was like a smooth rapture that calmed her thumping heart. The cheering of the crowd was nothing but a faint noise in the background. The raining pink flower petals were nothing.

Not even the rustling sound of the dragon's suit would steal away this moment. The dragon sprouted her black wings and wrapped them around Hikari. She shielded the both of them from the outside world as she finally relinquished her kiss.

"Today is the happiest day of my life," Kurayami said. "I want to steal away this beautiful princess."

Hikari blushed and smiled. "Take me away from this castle, and I shall be yours."

The dragon chuckled and kissed Hikari once more. "You can't take those words back, princess."

Kurayami's arms wrapped tighter around Hikari's waist, and the dragon spread her wings. She flapped them towards the hole in the ceiling that let in a dazzling ray of light. The light poured down on the two, enveloping them in a warm hug.

The two flew through the top of the mountain, and the entire world presented itself to them. Miles of land in all directions spread out before them. A small gust of wind hit them, and the dragon looked off towards the distant ocean.

"Where are you taking me?" Hikari asked.

"For this whole week, you belong to me. No one can interrupt anything we do, so before anyone else can have you, I want to give you the best honeymoon I can. I found an amazing island where the two of us can be as free as the birds in the sky."

Hikari smiled and kissed Kurayami's cheek. "That sounds wonderful. What do you have planned for me over there?"

Kurayami gave her a devilish grin. "It's a surprise, but I'm going to make you feel so good that you will never forget everything that happens."

Hikari's eyes widened and her face heated. However, rather than her normal shyness with such acts, she found herself anticipating it so much that her core was already burning. Her thoughts drifted to the dragon's body, and she pictured what a week of being boned by a dragon would be like. She bit her lip and ran her hand along Kuraymai's neck seductively.

"Take me there."
