"I Became a Witch, but Now Everyone's in Love with Me!"

vol. 1 chapter 99 - Chapter 99: Tempting Tea Treasure~

Chapter 99: Tempting Tea Treasure~
"I have exhausted all my strategies~"
The girl lay in the cockpit of the Undead Mech and sighed helplessly. She truly had no other choice. The strategy she had just employed had drained all her magic power. There was simply none left.

The few remaining charged weapons had no hope of reversing the situation. She didn’t even have enough magic to maintain full power, let alone [Mind Overlap], which was a massive mana consumer. Not a drop remained.
Violet had some magic power, but facing mentors like Vladimir and Carol, her fighting ability was almost irrelevant. True, the little girl’s combat strength could challenge a big witch, but there was still a considerable gap.
Mentor Vladimir had even fought a sage for an entire day and night—Violet could only bully newly promoted witches using her talent and equipment. The gap was enormous.

Even Carol was not afraid of the [Finger of Death]. It was merely a sage-level weapon, and she had encountered its like before in her fifty-year-plus career. As a combat witch, she would have countless ways to handle it. But as an academy instructor, she had to be careful; causing too much damage during the Trial would earn her a reprimand from the Dean.
So, the most reliable method was a direct attack.
In fact, the combined power of Vladimir and Carol exceeded even Violet’s Finger of Death. One strike could literally split mountains and cut seas. The scorching flames obliterated death’s aura, and the sharp spatial slash was unstoppable. With a single blow, the right arm of the Undead Mech was severed, leaving it paralyzed.

"Can this be repaired? Can it be mass-produced? Economically profitable? If the answers satisfy me, you will pass this trial."
Carol eyed the Undead Mech, which had been miniaturized to roughly the size of a regular witch using space miniaturization magic. She gently kicked the girl’s little butt twice. The soft, bouncy flesh felt oddly satisfying, so she kept kicking it:
Bullet.
Kick.
Bullet.
Kick.
For a moment, the scene looked strangely comical.

"There’s no way to repair it. The magic circuits I carved have all burned out. I can only dismantle this and recycle it. At least most of the high-level materials survived."
Jiang Cha pursed her lips unhappily. The body of a natural undead could not handle the intense magic transmission from Jiang Cha and Violet. Beyond the exterior, the inside of the mecha was unrecognizable:
A faint blue glow illuminated interconnected magic circuits, like blood vessels. The body was hollowed out, the arms built with hydraulic principles for extreme output. Five magic cores and six super weapons were embedded inside.

If this were called an undead, even the greatest sage of antiquity would be furious. But in essence, it was a conscious undead creature with very low intelligence.
As Jiang Cha’s first fully integrated creation, the Undead Mech brought her satisfaction—but it also had many flaws.
"This mecha is made of high-end materials for maximum combat power. It’s essentially a test machine that ignores cost. Mass-produced with ordinary materials? Forget cost-effectiveness—the power wouldn’t justify it."

It was enormous, and without strong enough materials, it would be a ✪ Nоvеlіgһt ✪ (Official version) joke—and a dangerous one for little witches.
The real function of the mecha? Enhancing spellcasting. Its combat effectiveness still depended on the driver’s skill. And initially, the designer sacrificed too many practical functions for the sake of aesthetics. Without high-level mental sensors, the humanoid mecha itself was flawed.
"So… you didn’t design this thing?"

Carol’s instincts immediately sensed something amiss, and she stared at Jiang Cha curiously.
"It’s not me?"
The girl turned away, whistling guiltily. Honestly, could a witch in a frenzy and a calm witch be considered the same species? Their thinking circuits were fundamentally different.

“…That Finger of Death…”
“That was Violet’s spell. Chacha didn’t do anything.”
"Tactical design?"

"As a pilot, I need to know some military tactics, right?"
"Where did the high-level undead materials come from?"
"I found them in the warehouse!"
"Okay, then just hang there."

Carol shrugged, clearly unconcerned by Jiang Cha’s cluelessness. You don’t want to explain? Fine—continue your punishment.
And hang she did. Not a simple suspension—ropes wrapped back and forth around her body, forming a perfect art piece, making her figure, normally unremarkable, look irresistibly attractive.
Inside the small, prison-like room, surrounded by gray-black stone walls of forbidden magic, with an iron window of special alloy in front, Jiang Cha hung quietly. Her black hair and red eyes gave her the appearance of a succubus: pure, slightly unhinged, and perfectly matched to her predicament. It radiated temptation, inviting someone to commit blasphemy.

"Teacher~ My butt hurts~"
Before Carol turned to leave, the girl’s soft, pitiful voice sounded, like a stray cat abandoned in the streets. There was no overt seduction, yet it made hearts tremble.
"You deserve it. A beating was warranted."

The dark-skinned mentor paused, trembling slightly, but shrugged and opened the door to leave. The room fell into darkness.
"Fuck, that was close. Isn’t this girl an awakened witch? Was she a succubus in her previous life? How did she suddenly get so attractive?"
Meanwhile, Jiang Cha pouted in disappointment and continued studying the “legacy” left in the Mage Tower.

Carol, having just left, covered her chest and drew two deep breaths, barely suppressing her desire.
That Jiang tea had been overwhelmingly tempting—not just in form or tone, but in magical aura. It radiated a wild, enchanting message, filling the room.
Yet Jiang Cha’s intent was innocent.

This contrast between resisting and succumbing was something even the strongest witch could barely control.
Not to mention Carol, already caught in it.
If she hadn’t fled and stayed another ten minutes, she might have given in entirely.

A mentor to Rep students?
If this got out, she’d be ruined.
