I Ascend to the Divine Throne through Arcane Means

Chapter 677: Sending You to Meet Yeager! (2)

Can't they take Lis down after paying such a heavy price this time?

That would really be a huge loss!

"Lune, isn't it done yet?"

Holmes frowned as he looked at Lis, the crimson color in his hand flickering as he secretly spoke to Lune.

"You better not mess this up!"

Juliana, on the other hand, had no such scruples and spoke directly to Lune.

In fact, she had long wanted to leave.

She came here partly to eliminate the World Tree Favored, a potential strong adversary of the enemy camp, and partly to see if there was an opportunity to turn the opponent's remains into her collection.

The World Tree Favored!

If she could have such a collectible, just thinking about it was exhilarating.

But in the previous discussions, Lune had insisted on getting Lis's entire body as a sacrificial offering.

Although Juliana was very unhappy, being a Divine Son, Lune was much stronger and crazier than she was.

Reluctantly, Juliana had to give up her previous idea.

And now, with her favorite Human Skin Mask destroyed by Lis, there was no way she could tolerate it as someone who always loved beauty.

Without the Human Skin Mask, she didn't want to stay a minute longer in her true appearance, and her current thought was to tear Lis to pieces and leave to change into another Human Skin Mask as soon as possible.

Lune listened to their suggestions, his expression unchanged.

He, of course, sensed Lis slowly growing stronger in the battle, but for him, this was a good thing instead.

The stronger Lis was, the more valuable he would be as a sacrifice!

As for that slight increase in strength, it was nothing Lune was concerned about.

But just then, after receiving a message, Lune's expression changed slightly, no longer having the same aloof demeanor.

"Adela has left the Elf Land, finish quickly!"

Elf Great Sage Adela!

Upon hearing this name, even Lune couldn't help but feel a slight heaviness in his heart.

Even if he was on the Path to Divinity, he wasn't confident about facing this powerhouse.

He was the Divine Son of Hunting God Mara, whereas Adela's status was equivalent to the direct representative of the Elf Gods left in the Gaia Main World!

If she wished, becoming a Subordinate God granted by a particular Elf God or ascending to Demigod would not be a difficult task.

There wasn't much time left!

Lune looked at Lis, the power of the short blade in his hand instantly began to strengthen incessantly.

For Adela to leave the Elf Land at this time was undoubtedly clear regarding her intentions.

Being the World Tree Favored, Lis was exceedingly important to the Elf Gods and Elf Kingdom.

Adela's action was what they envisioned as an urgent situation second only to Stephens just breaking free from the Judgement Flame!

Damn it!

Even if Lune was unwilling, he had no choice but to put aside the Hunting Ceremony and quickly kill Lis.

The others could at most help him hold off Adela a little, but as for risking their lives, it was impossible.

This was because killing Lis, the World Tree Favored, was a shared goal for the Evil God believers, otherwise, with their ulterior motives, they couldn't possibly have banded together.

Hmm?

Lis felt the pressure suddenly intensify, unable to dodge, his chest was slashed open with a bloody wound by Lune's short blade.

The muscles on either side of the wound wriggled, instantly stopping the bleeding while Lis's immense recovery power tried to heal the wound, but the black radiance from Lune flickered on the wound, obstructing it all.

Lis took several steps back, knowing the opponent no longer wanted to drag things out.

Even Juliana showed herself from the shadows, attacking Lis with her Thorny Whip directly.

Seeing all this, a cold glint flashed in Lis's eyes.

Even a mud man has three points of temper!

Having been on the receiving end of beatings for so long, he had long pent up a stomach full of anger.

Now that there was no way to delay further, he naturally wanted to leave a deep impression on the opponent.

The strength of the trio was formidable, large-scale Legendary Magic attacks couldn't be too effective, and Space Magic was sealed. The best course, instead, was close combat.

Among the trio in front, Lune's power was too formidable; even if Lis fought desperately, he couldn't achieve much.

Holmes's condition was quite peculiar, with his incredible limb regeneration and the sight of severed limbs turning into Magic Beasts all seen by Lis.

Thinking of a particular ability of Master of Ten Thousand Beasts believers, Lis speculated on Holmes's status.

If that was truly the case, although Holmes had the lowest body toughness, he wasn't the best target.

Since that was so, only Juliana remained!

Watching Juliana charging at him, Lis's lips slightly curled upwards, and in a flash, he vanished into thin air.

Is this... Invisibility?

The experienced trio instantly realized this, Holmes, and Juliana's attack momentarily paused, while Lune slashed toward ten meters in front.

Lis had his Hunting Mark, so Lune could naturally sense Lis's location.

Lune's black blade light collided with an invisible presence in mid-air, revealing Lis's figure under attack there.

Several Magic Shields on Lis's body shattered under Lune's full assault, even the Legendary Armor Lis just donned was destroyed by the black blade light.

But with all these layers of barriers, although Lune's strike left a deep bone-revealing wound on Lis's back, it ultimately blocked Lune's attack.

The fierce wind howled, raising the dust on the ground as Lis rushed toward Juliana like a maddened Lion.

Taking advantage of Lune's attack momentum, Lis's figure charged through the gusts in front of Juliana.

Watching Lis's approach, Juliana's lips carried a cold smile, her eyes hinted endless killing intent, viewing Lis's choice as a desperate struggle at death's door.

When Kane got close, she fiercely swung her long whip; the whip body with sharp barbs lashed at Kane like lightning.

The Thorny Whip swung like a lively viper, echoing a sharp whistling sound in the air.

Lis did not dodge, as if the whistling whip was just a gentle breeze.

The long whip struck hard on his body, the barbs quickly tore through the Armor, leaving vicious wounds on his body.

Blood gushed, dyeing Lis's body like a Demigod with blood, but Lis seemed oblivious to pain, his eyes carried nothing but determination toward Juliana.

He continued closing in on Juliana, with a kind of reckless madness in his movements.

Juliana was shocked, she didn't expect the once agile Kane would recklessly withstand her attack.

She quickly attempted to dodge, her steps light and agile, trying to distance herself from Kane.

However, Lis had anticipated Juliana's actions long ago, preventing her from escaping easily.

Lis clenched his right hand, and a powerful magic force instantly erupted, forming complex Magic Array Patterns behind Juliana, with the air behind her seemingly gripped by an invisible giant hand, solidifying instantly like steel.

Juliana's body was momentarily restrained by this powerful force, leaving her no room to retreat.

Lis's lips curled into a confident smile.

His figure flashed like a phantom, reaching Juliana with unrivaled speed.

His arms clamped down tightly like iron pincers, threatening to strangle her to death in his embrace.

"What are you doing?!"

Anna widened her eyes in horror, her ferocious, hideous face failing to move Lis in the slightest.

"Nothing much, just want to send you to meet Yeager!"

Lis showed no fear whatsoever, instead, giving a slight smile.

Following that, the magic power within him surged wildly, akin to a long-slumbering volcano suddenly erupting.

A terrifying force erupted from his body, like a surging torrent, sweeping outward with him at the center.

This all happened nearly instantly, leaving no opportunity for Holmes and Lune to intervene.

The terrifying explosion instantly engulfed Lis and Juliana, the brilliance shone, airwaves surged, shaking the entire small world till it seemed it might collapse under this mighty force.

Dust filled the air, blocking out the sky and sun, as if the end of the world had arrived.
