Chapter 11: Chapter 11: “The Day I Bled, The Night I R

📘 Volume 2 – "I Am the Darkness Who Hide Secretly"

Summary:

Jake Lagon faces a terrifying new enemy—an assassin-level being stronger than anything in Volume 1. With no time to prepare, Jake is stabbed, his darkness split open, and for the first time… he bleeds. But what the enemy doesn't know—

his blood is the key to awakening...

Hain Yar.

"Even shadows can bleed.

But I am the one who bleeds into black fire."

---

[The Scene Begins]

The moon was black. The city was dead silent.

Jake Lagon stood alone on the rooftop, breathing in the cold of the midnight air. The darkness obeyed him, crawling under his feet like loyal dogs.

Then he heard it—

> Step. Step. Step.

Behind him, a figure appeared—face hidden under a void mask, voice like a dying god.

> "You are the one they fear. But you are not the one I kneel to."

Before Jake could reply, a blade pierced through his back—so sharp it didn't tear skin…

It rearranged his darkness.

Jake gasped. His body froze.

> This isn't just a stab... it's a conceptual wound.

Something… deeper than a cut. Something that tries to erase what he is.

He dropped to one knee.

The rooftop shattered.

Blood—black, but glowing—dripped from his mouth.

---

[INTERNAL THOUGHT]

> "I've never… bled like this."

"This pain… is real. It's not just physical. It's identity."

"...So this is what it means to be challenged…"

The enemy whispered behind him:

> "You're not a god. You're a delay."

---

But then—

> The blood on the floor began to boil.

> The shadows twisted.

> The entire city blacked out.

Jake's voice echoed in a language not made for humans.

And then:

Hain Yar awakened.

---

Jake's body changed:

Eyes: pure black, with burning red rings swirling inside

Voice: echoing like two universes speaking at once

Aura: anti-light, zero-gravity distortion, and memory-loss radiation

Time around him: frozen, melted, and looped

Jake spoke—calm, terrifying:

> "You stabbed me thinking I'd die.

But I am the wound you cannot close."

He raised his hand—

And reversed the stab.

> The blade that pierced him?

Now lodged in the enemy's chest.
