I am secretly a 12th Dimensional Eldritch God

Chapter 178: Chapter 174 - Nah, I'd Run.

A while later, I was brought before a dining table.

On the table were various dishes and a grumpy looking Ei sitting and waiting for Makoto to eat lunch.

The reason why Ei look grumpy is obviously because of me. She dislikes me for obvious reasons unlike Makoto who is the abnormal one that did the opposite.

"Are you going to stay in that form?" Makoto wondered curiously if I'm going to stay in my feline form to eat since I wouldn't be able to hold the utensils with my cat paws.

"Let me feed you, Master!"

Freya is quick to volunteer herself. But I quickly rejected her offer and conjured hands made of shadow which dexterously use the pair of wooden chopsticks without any issue to feed me.

We all ate silently much to my relief because I needed this time to sort my mind.

A matter of even higher priority than those I listed before is my family.

Even though I had consumed them. They are not really dead. Their souls are still alive inside me. However, their physical body had been destroyed.

As such, I had to figure out a way to create a physical body for them to be brought back into the physical world.

I could create a physical body with my power. But it would definitely not be tailored to fit the soul 100% because I'm not that skilled. Not to mention, this kind of body would deteriorate over time.

Instead, I could probably do something similar by creating clones.

To test out this theory, I stretch my right paw out and a dark blob is expelled out before forming an identical clone of my feline form.

Makoto, Ei and Freya observed curiously while eating their meal while I continued with my experiment.

"Assign partition. Entity, Abigail Williams." I mumbles.

The clone I created immediately assigned the soul of Abby who is dormant inside me. As soon as it did, the black fur immediately grew longer and thicker before turning blond along with her eyes that turned blue.

"Dad!"

Abby immediately jumped and tackled me before snuggling up on me. She then cried, saying how much she worried and afraid of everything that had happened. I stopped eating and sighed before comforting her.

"It's alright. It's safe now and I will definitely do everything to regain our happy life like we used to."

Hearing my promise, Abby stopped crying but still latched on to me as if I would disappear on her. I didn't mind and gave her plenty of headpats.

Seeing that this method worked wonderfully, I am about to bring back the rest of the girls that aren't hibernating to recover their exhausted souls. But I stopped when sensing two piercing gaze at my face.

"What?"

"No-Nothing… I just didn't expect you to be like this."

Makoto was frowning for some reason as her eyes turned to Abby who looked back at her innocently and curiously.

Suddenly, Abby blurted out.

"Is she a new mommy?"

"What? No. She is not."

I quickly corrected Abby. But for some ominous reason, the frown on Makoto's face turned into a smile. The teasing kind of smile that sends chills down my spine.

"Hmn… I see." Makoto mused as she connected the dots.

Makoto knew bits and pieces of information about Ray from Freya. Mostly from her boast and praises. However, with enough insight. She could fill up the blanks and piece up the puzzles.

"I didn't take you for this kind of person, Mr Ray. An Outer God that likes to adopt little girls as his daughters. That has to be the most amusing thing I have ever heard in my life." She said before turning to Ei.

Ei, unlike Makoto, does not have a favourable opinion of Ray because he is an Outer God. Beings that knew knew no concept of morality and beyond the comprehension of mortals. Their mere presence brings devastating impacts to those they interact with due to their inherent nature.

Thus, to see such juxtaposition in Ray made Ei doubt the knowledge she had learned about the Outer God. She wondered, could there really be Outer Gods that nature is inherently kind and benevolent?

"See? I told you you can trust my intuition." Makoto said to Ei.

However, Ei would not acknowledge it that easily. At least, that's what her face said.

"That is up to my own judgement, Sister." Ei replied sternly. "Only time will tell what his true character really is." Her eyes narrowed dangerously at the end while glancing sharply at Ray.

Makoto pouted at Ei's stubbornness but did not pursue it. Instead, she shifts her attention back to Ray and especially Abby with even more enthusiasm.

Her eyes clearly show she wants to cuddle the fluff ball that is Abby in her feline form.

But much to her disappointment, I told her to shapeshift into her human form since there will be side effects to her mind if she stays too long in a form she is not supposed to.

(3rd PoV)

After the meal, Ray went to the courtyard of the castle Makoto and Ei called home.

Since he already has a proven way to revive those he devoured. He started to create a clone each for each soul that isn't dormant. Those souls would be Sakura, Jack, Ophis, Baobhan Sith, Sakuya and the Maids Trio.

Once he finished, instead of letting them free. Ray sends them all into his Shadow Space.

Mainly to acclimate with their new body. It wasn't their original body after all and issues like being unable to control their strength, unable to balance their body, etc, could happen which better to occur in an environment that is safe for them since Asia was inside although still recovering.

Once he is done with his business here. Ray did not spare any thoughts and immediately tried to slip away. Hopefully escape and hide away from Makoto all together.

So what if she can vouch for his identity? At the end of the day, that plan was still relying on his own strength to overcome Celestia.

Ray did not have the luxury to restore his own power. He uses them to heal the souls of his families that are still slumbering as the aftermath of his battle with the Sustainer.

What if in that moment of weakness, Celestia found out about the truth and hunted him down?

Ray does not want to risk it. He still has a promise to fulfill with his family. Everything else can burn for all he cares.

With that line of thought, Ray telepathically ordered Freya to distract the twins while he escaped and he would summon her away later once he escaped.

Scaling the wall with incredible grace, Ray quickly made his escape while Freya distracted the twins.

With freedom in sight, the thriving town beyond the castle wall. Ray leaped off the wall and expected to land on the town before quickly making his escape. However, things always divert from the plan.

Before he landed on the ground. A hand caught him by the neck.

"Hmn. What do we have here? A spy? No. A spy wouldn't be as sloppy as this… Ah, right. You are the infamous Nekomata Youkai fellow from the battle of the Southern Fortress."

This fox-like lady in Miko lift Ray closer to her face while rubbing her chin with suspicion.

"Why are you sneaking around the castle like a thief?" She asked.

"Uh… I was just sightseeing…?" He answered without any confidence which made the fox Miko even more suspicious.

Ray was panicking a little when under her scrutiny because this Fox Miko is actually another Divine. But he calmed himself down before foregoing his plan to be sneaky and decided to just wing it as he went.

Immediately, Ray hissed and released his claws to intimidate the Fox Miko, which worked. Once he is freed, Ray immediately runs on all four and escapes into the town and eventually flees into the wild undetected while summoning Freya into his shadow before they both escaped.
