I Am Raditz

Before they'd parted, Raditz had taken a Senzu bean from Goku just in case. He hadn't expected it would prove so useful.

With his strength restored, Raditz immediately activated Kaio-ken. He grabbed the retracting tentacles, pulled hard, and tore them apart. Electronic sparks flickered as a "beep beep" sounded before they fell lifelessly to the ground.

Red energy fluttered around him, lifting his long hair slightly in the chaotic atmosphere. His thin clothes flapped in the energy current with a "crackling" sound.

Boundless clearly didn't understand such messy concepts as emotions and beliefs, which was why it remained silent for a moment. Raditz guessed that if it were capable of surprise, it would certainly be "surprised" now.

After all, for a being who'd had no energy to suddenly erupt with power and break free from its control—for a machine, this was inconceivable.

"Everything can be calculated! You can never defeat me," Boundless finally stated, its voice as cold as ever.

The metal dragon before it sprang into action, its enormous body coiling as it rushed toward Raditz. Seeing the red metallic beast charging at him, Raditz felt his body tremble slightly. Though he couldn't sense the creature's energy signature, he instinctively recognized its strength.

Raditz trembled not from fear, but from the Saiyan instinct—the excitement of facing a powerful enemy!

"Bring it on!"

With a thunderous shout, he flew toward the metal dragon. His agile body danced around the serpentine form. From a distance, they appeared as two interlaced red lights—one long, one short—circling continuously.

Being lighter than the dragon, Raditz maneuvered after several twists and turns to land atop its neck—a strategic position! He grabbed the slippery metal beard, nearly crushing it out of shape, raised his other hand, and delivered a powerful punch against the hard exterior.

His blow slammed the dragon's body into a crater, but it was Raditz who winced in pain.

"Hot! Hssss—"

He hastily withdrew his hand, shaking it several times. At that moment, he also felt a burning sensation on the soles of his feet, forcing him to leap away from the dragon.

The metal dragon could instantaneously heat its body. Through the heat-conducting properties of metal, Raditz quickly felt the scorching temperature.

Having pushed Raditz back, the dragon swung its tail with incredible swiftness, striking Raditz hard in the abdomen. The impact sent him flying, and while he tried to use the momentum to his advantage, the dragon's tail pursued him closely, attempting to wrap around his body.

At the critical moment, Raditz activated Triple Kaio-ken and dodged desperately. A sharp blade suddenly extended from the dragon's tail, slicing through his clothing and nearly drawing blood.

Raditz felt a chill of fear as the ferocious dragon opened its jagged mouth and unleashed a torrent of flames at him. The fiery blast impacted like a massive pillar.

His figure disappeared into the billowing river of fire.

Raditz's body continuously shook from the majestic flames' impact as he gritted his teeth. "It's really powerful. Triple Kaio-ken can barely handle this."

"Your ability exceeds the fighters I copied, but it will not surpass my calculations. You cannot win."

I can't? Oh my god, it's even taunting me!

Raditz endured the flames, his anger immediately rising. How could a man accept being told what he couldn't do?

"SHINING—SHOCK WAVE!!!"

With a mighty shout, Raditz abandoned his crossed defensive stance, instead bringing his fingers together as gorgeous light erupted through the red flames! The shock wave reversed the flow of the fiery torrent at incredible speed, eye-catching flashes reflecting in the metal dragon's eyes like luminous waves.

"BOOM!"

The Saturday Crash overwhelmed the metal dragon's flames and engulfed it entirely.

Raditz showed no complacency. He knew that energy attacks alone couldn't defeat an opponent like this. To combat energy blasts, they were all equipped with energy-absorbing devices.

Sure enough, as the smoke cleared, the metal dragon emerged unscathed, flamboyantly displaying its sharp claws.

In an instant, the metal dragon roared, its turbulent electronic sound exploding like thunder.

Immediately after, scales across its entire body opened to reveal hidden weapons. White, purple, and red lights sprayed in all directions as it rotated, filling the space with rainbow-like brilliance. The dazzling energy blasts struck every corner without a blind spot!

Boundless remained protected in its sphere, absorbing all energy reflected toward it, while Raditz had nowhere to escape—he could only defend himself!

Instantly increasing to Five-fold Kaio-ken, Raditz found that the strain of maintaining this power level had greatly reduced. His combat power now exceeded 500,000.

His soaring aura deflected the energy blasts as his power rose amazingly. Suspended in midair, his eyes reflected a howling blizzard, venting his boundless fighting spirit!

"In ancient times, there was a Gundam dismantled by bare hands. Today, I'll try dismantling a dragon!" The aura surrounding Raditz flickered with increasing frequency before transforming into a blur as he shot forward!

He charged toward the metal dragon at unbelievable speed, targeting its scales with a punch. "BOOM!" The explosion was accompanied by mechanical cracking as fragments flew everywhere.

Raditz tore through the massive body, cutting a hole in the dragon. Cable-like wires hung from his hands, sizzling and sparking.

Turning around, he continued his assault, peeling off scales and smashing the weapons beneath.

"Calculation error! Calculation error!" The alarm suddenly blared.

The dragon's head jerked sideways as it swung its body, trying to catch Raditz. But he preemptively struck the dragon's head, caving in half its face.

He climbed up to its neck again and punched the same spot. This time, without even feeling the burning sensation against his fist, his energy passed straight through the body!

"CRACK!"

Another sound rang out as half the dragon's head shattered!

"Miscalculation!"

"Miscalculation!" The voice grew increasingly shrill, reaching peak urgency.

Raditz grabbed the two horns, tore them off with a mighty pull, then kicked away the remains. Though headless, the metal dragon continued moving, its tail sweeping toward Raditz's abdomen.

But Raditz wouldn't fall for the same trick twice. He met the attack with both hands, gripping the tail firmly before reversing its direction and shaking it violently! He threw it left and right like a toy, causing the space around them to vibrate continuously.

After this brutal beating, the metal dragon lay paralyzed on the ground, no longer able to move even under Boundless's commands.

"Calculation error. Defensive Unit No. 7 is unable to function..."

The voice had grown faint, like an old man's final breath at twilight.

Raditz pointed at the spherical container housing Boundless. "See? You can't calculate everything. Release your gravitational hold so our spaceship can take off, or I'll destroy you with my next punch."

"Ding! Data collection complete." Boundless ignored Raditz's threat, instead speaking as if to itself.

In the adjacent culture tank, a tiny chip inserted into the human head activated. The tubes and cables connected to the figure detached as the sleeping person suddenly opened amber eyes!

In an instant, a fist burst from the cultivation tank with extreme speed, striking Raditz squarely.

The culture fluid spilled across the floor, emitting a foul stench.
