The living room lights were off, but using the ambient light from Ji Ya's room and the outdoor lights, he saw something on the couch.

A closer look suggested it was a person.

Shen Yuan turned on his phone's flashlight and caught a glimpse of a silhouette, covered by a thin blanket, facing toward Ji Ya's room.

Judging by the curves beneath the blanket, it seemed to be a woman with a slim waist, full hips, and short hair — clearly Tan Xin.

Why sleep on the couch instead of in her room?

It seemed off; if she wanted to sleep she could use the other couch, why this side, facing Ji Ya's bedroom?
