Chapter 149: Chapter 149: Work To do...

[Third Person's PoV]

"Can you extract them now?" Nezu asked, his keen eyes locked on the figures of Aizawa and Oboro lying on the cold floor, their expressions eerily serene.

Tony Stark offered a small, confident smirk and tapped a button on the side of his helmet. "Oh yeah, I always could, absolutely. Here goes." A soft whir hummed as a beam of light surrounded Aizawa's form, gently pulling him out of the simulated consciousness.

Present Mic's eyes narrowed with suspicion. "Wait, what do you mean you always could?"

Tony shrugged, his posture relaxed but tinged with a hint of mischief. "Yeah, Aizawa was never truly at risk. I'd never build something without multiple failsafes."

Nezu's eyes glistened with understanding, his expression morphing into a knowing smile. "I see... You lied about not being able to extract Shota so that Hizashi's desperation would be genuine, giving him the emotional push to reach Oboro and make him believe Shota was in peril. That was the trigger to wake Oboro from his mental prison, wasn't it?"

"Bingo," Tony said as he and Melissa removed the helmets from Aizawa and Oboro's heads with careful precision, their movements synchronized.

Present Mic shot Tony a glare that could pierce steel. "Not cool, man!"

Tony raised an eyebrow, unfazed. "Hey, it worked, didn't it?"

Mic's shoulders slumped as he looked away, mumbling grudgingly, "I guess…"

A soft groan pulled their attention back to Aizawa. He blinked rapidly, his gaze unfocused as he rubbed his temples.

"Just a heads-up," Tony said, adopting the tone of an infomercial host. "Side effects may include nausea, headaches, dizziness, and sensitivity to light. Your mileage may vary."

Next to him, Oboro stirred. The ethereal fog that had veiled his features slowly dissipated, revealing the man beneath. His tan skin was flushed with life, and his light blue hair, slightly tousled, framed a face. A thin bandage crossed the bridge of his nose, a small, familiar touch that pulled at the heartstrings of those who remembered him.

"Hey, guys," Oboro whispered, a faint but warm smile breaking through. "Miss me?"

Before anyone could react, Present Mic launched himself forward, wrapping Oboro in a fierce hug. Tears streamed down his face as he practically yelled, "OBORO!!!"

He pulled back just enough to search Oboro's eyes, a trace of doubt gnawing at him. "You... you are Oboro, right?"

Oboro chuckled, the sound hoarse but genuine. "Yeah, I think so," he said, tilting his head thoughtfully as if rediscovering himself.

As the room buzzed with emotional reunions, Tony and Melissa quietly packed up their equipment. Nezu's small, beady eyes gleamed with gratitude. "Thank you both. You would always have our gratitude for what you've done here today."

Tony waved it off nonchalantly. "Just keep a watchful eye on him. If Kurogiri tries to resurface, you need to be prepared."

All Might's deep voice chimed in, laced with worry as he glanced over at the trio of friends reuniting. "Do you really think there's a chance Kurogiri could come back?"

Tony's expression grew serious, the playful glint in his eyes momentarily replaced by wariness. "The odds are slim, practically zero. But Kurogiri's presence may have left lingering traces. You can't be too careful."

Nezu nodded with a solemn expression. "We'll monitor him closely for any signs. Rest assured."

Tony nodded back. "Good. Now, Melissa and I have work to get back to."

"I'll see you out," All Might said, leading them toward the exit. The door clicked shut behind them, leaving Aizawa and Present Mic alone with Oboro, who still wore a smile tinged with uncertainty.

Back at home, Tony was walking around his home, a mischievous smile stretching across his face. "Melissa, ready to help me build a spaceship?"

Melissa's eyes widened, taken aback. "Right now? Seriously?"

He chuckled and crossed his arms, eyes twinkling. "We could start tomorrow... or reschedule for next week, if that's better."

She gave him a look so deadpan it could rival Aizawa's. "Was the sarcasm really necessary?"

Tony grinned and brushed a kiss on her cheek. "Always."

Melissa rolled her eyes but couldn't hide the smirk tugging at her lips. "Why don't we just modify the Quinjet and turn it into a Quantum Jet? Get it? Quinjet, Quantum Jet?"

Tony's expression turned mockingly severe. "That... was awful. If I made jokes like that, I'd have to question why you're still dating me."

"Believe me, I'm questioning it right now, you big jerk," Melissa shot back, narrowing her eyes as she followed him down the stairs to the lab.

Tony's laughter echoed, bouncing off the walls. "Alright, let's turn this Quinjet into a Quantum Jet," Tony mocked

Melissa grumbled in annoyance. "I'm telling your mom you're bullying me."

Tony spun around, panic flashing in his eyes. "Whoa, whoa, no need for drastic measures. Let's talk this out like adults."

Melissa's only response was a dramatic huff and a pout, arms crossed defiantly.

Tony began to fake laugh wiping his eyes amusement, and he bent over holding his stomach. "You're hilarious, Melissa! Quinjet, Quantum Jet—I get it now! Brilliant."

She walked past him with an exaggerated eye-roll. "Let's just get this over with before I lose my sanity."

Chuckling, Tony caught up and wrapped his arms around her waist, pressing another kiss to her cheek. "You know I'm only teasing, right?"

Melissa leaned back into him with a sigh, a smile breaking through her faux irritation. "Yeah, yeah. Now let's get to work, you big doofus."

"Whatever you say, my queen," Tony teased, pressing one last kiss before moving ahead.

Melissa's cheeks warmed as she touched the spot he'd kissed, her smile softening as she followed him into the heart of their lab.

Before them, the parts of the dismantled Quinjet were arranged neatly, every piece accounted for and labeled.

"We'll need to integrate the Quantum Matrix you designed to safely traverse the Quantum Realm without compromising our physical integrity," Tony said as his eyes flashed red, a layout of how everything would appear formed before him like a blueprint using the Techno vision in his eyes.

"Can I leave its construction to you while I focus on constructing the Phantom Drive?" Tony asked as he fast forwarded the design he created with a brief look from his eyes into her tablet.

"Yeah, leave it to me…" Melissa nodded as she pressed the image and lifted it up protecting a manipulative 3D hologram, she spun around viewing every, "This should be fairly easy… We should be finished by tomorrow Morning"

They exchanged a glance before splitting up, each diving into their respective tasks,
