Jaxon was now full of anticipation, waiting patiently for the system's voice.
'I wonder how many destiny points I can get by helping Gwen become Spider-Woman this time!' He thought excitedly.
Finally, the system's voice echoed in his mind.
[Ding! The host helps Gwen gain superpowers!]
"Here it comes. I wonder how many destiny points I earned." Jaxon muttered, eager to hear the results.
The system's prompt continued, and finally, the rewards were revealed.
[Gwen's fate was altered. You've earned 500,000 destiny points!]
[Received: a Symbiote suit!]
[Received: one free lottery spin!]
Jaxon couldn't help but praise the system, 'The system is incredible!'
The system explained that by helping Gwen gain superpowers, not only would her fate of falling to her death be changed, but she would also become a superhero and affect significant future events.
'From that perspective, 500,000 destiny points make sense!' He nodded in agreement.
The symbiote suit was perfectly tailored for Gwen. After all, creating a suit from scratch was tedious, unlike the symbiote, which was both convenient and practical.
'System, let's use the lottery spin now.'
[Ding! Congratulations to the host for obtaining a special ability: Enhanced Hearing!]
'Enhanced hearing, huh? It's similar to Daredevil's, though not quite as sharp as Superman's.'
'This'll do.'

The visit concluded, and everyone headed home.
Jaxon drove Gwen, Betty, and Mary Jane home, ready to enjoy the rest of the afternoon. Peter went to the library with Ned, planning to study together.
After being bitten by the spider, Peter, with some discomfort around his wound and a sudden wave of drowsiness. He shrugged it off, thinking it wasn't anything serious.
Meanwhile, Gwen, Mary Jane, and Betty grabbed a Chinese meal together before heading to the swimming pool for some sunbathing.
The three girls, after changing into their swimsuits, couldn't help but admire one another's beauty by the poolside.
Jaxon appeared in his own swimsuit, his well-toned, muscular body drawing the attention of the girls.
"Wow, Jaxon's body is incredible." Mary Jane whispered, eyes gleaming.
"I love his muscles." Betty chimed in.
Jaxon brought over a small coole filled with drinks, including some alcohol.
"I brought drinks for you all." He said casually, "Feel free to grab some. Do you need sunscreen?"
Jaxon offered to help, but after Gwen lay down, she quickly dozed off. Not wanting her to burn, Jaxon opened a parasol to shade her from the sun.
Betty and Mary Jane, however, didn't mind the sun and continued to bask in its warmth.
Originally, Gwen had planned to test Jaxon's abilities, but with her fast asleep, that would have to wait.
Jaxon laid back in his chair, soaking up the sunlight.
"Jaxon, do you need help with sunscreen?" Mary Jane asked playfully.
Jaxon chuckled, "How can I refuse an offer like that?"
While Mary Jane applied sunscreen on his back, Jaxon mentally reviewed his progress.
'System, time to upgrade.'
'My intelligence is already at level 5, so I'll leave that for now. Let's focus on upgrading spirit and energy to level 5 first.'
'Then we'll take strength, speed, endurance, and spirit up to level 6.'
[Ding! Evolution successful. 420,000 destiny points consumed. Remaining balance: 84,000 points.]
Jaxon could feel the immediate changes—the evolution of his life force, the elevation of his soul. He couldn't help but grin. 'One word: awesome!'
'It's just a pity that I still can't fly, even with this speed.'

Jaxon, in a great mood from his upgrades, noticed Mary Jane finishing up.
"Jaxon, Gwen's still asleep. Is she okay?"
Jaxon shared her concern, unsure of Gwen's current condition, 'Could the fusion gene be causing issues? Is there a risk?'
'Maybe I should use a drop of the Water of Life… better to be safe.'
The Water of Life was pure life energy, guaranteed to be harmless. Gwen was important, so Jaxon decided it was worth it.
Summoning the small, system-provided bottle, he approached Gwen and prepared to give her a single drop.
Mary Jane, curious, asked, "Jaxon, what are you doing?"
"Don't worry. I won't hurt her. This is the Water of Life—it can prolong life, slow aging, and keep people looking young, even in their fifties or sixties."
As Jaxon spoke, a drop of the precious liquid fell into Gwen's mouth. Its scent immediately filled the air, leaving Betty and Mary Jane feeling an odd sense of comfort.
Next, Jaxon turned to the others, "Since we're all here, might as well share the wealth."
Mary Jane didn't hesitate, trusting Jaxon implicitly. As the drop took effect, she felt more energetic, her body lighter, her skin rejuvenated.
"Betty, your turn." Jaxon smiled.
"Me? This stuff must be really expensive. I can't…" Betty began.
Jaxon silenced her protests with a kiss, "I'm always generous with my women."
Betty blushed but gave in, secretly glancing at Gwen and Mary Jane, unsure of their reactions. But the two just ignored them.
"Jaxon, can this Water of Life cure diseases?" Betty asked hesitantly, "My mother's sick… the hospital can only do so much."
Jaxon considered the question. While he knew the water could heal injuries and extend life, curing diseases was a different matter.
'System, is it effective on illnesses?'
[The Water of Life enhances immunity and can help with most diseases.]
"It should work." Jaxon replied, "But don't worry, this drop is for you. When the time comes, I'll give your mother another."
Betty's eyes filled with gratitude, "Really? Jaxon, I… I don't know how to thank you."
Jaxon smiled, brushing it off, "Don't mention it. But this stuff is rare. We'll find the right time to help your mother."
Betty, deeply moved, expressed her thanks in her own way. She had always liked Jaxon, but now she had fallen for him completely.
---
After all three of them took the Water of Life, the effects were immediate. Betty and Mary Jane felt incredibly comfortable, noting that each other looked even more beautiful than before.
"This stuff is incredible!" Mary Jane said, marveling at the changes.
Jaxon jumped into the pool and swam a couple of laps, watching the two girls admire their transformations.
"Betty, Mary Jane, stop staring at yourselves. Let's swim or play some water volleyball." He called out.
The two women laughed and accepted his invitation, diving into the pool to join him, abandoning any thoughts of sunbathing.
---
Gwen slowly regained consciousness, though not fully awake yet. Even with her eyes closed, she could still feel the cool water splashing around her and could sense the nearby rustling of leaves in the wind.
