Chapter 5: Was that your first time?
Once a bachelor, he now stood married to a woman whose beauty rivaled that of a model. This should have brought him joy, yet it failed to do so.
He longed for the days when he was surrounded by his loving parents and sister.
Everything had changed abruptly, thrusting him into the perilous world of Naruto. Accepting this reality proved to be a struggle.
Noticing her husband's melancholy expression, Uchiha Mikoto grew concerned, wondering if he disliked her cooking. Tentatively, she inquired, "Is something bothering you? Don't you enjoy the food?"
Fugaku snapped back to the present, met by Mikoto's endearing gaze and genuine concern. A warmth spread through his heart.
"No, it's good."
"Then why are you?"
Fugaku quickly plastered on a grin, eagerly devouring rice balls and sushi. His hunger demanded satisfaction, regardless of his mood.
"It's truly delicious," he finally admitted, savoring every bite of Mikoto's cooking.
Relieved, Mikoto beamed at her husband's genuine enjoyment, bringing a cheerful end to their meal.
Observing Mikoto tidying up after lunch, Fugaku was momentarily struck by a wave of emotion. In his previous world, a woman as striking as Mikoto would rarely engage in household chores.
Fugaku sighed and walked back into the bedroom, where it looked so different now.
Oh, he thought it was a hotel at first. As he looked over the room, a trace of blood on the bed caught his eye, which made him feel weird. What happened last night? And the way Mikoto walked, was it her first time?
Having just washed the dishes, Mikoto walked to the bedroom and saw Fugaku staring at the blood on the bed. She flushed for a moment, went over to pull the bed sheet, and started to clear up.
"You were sleeping, and I didn't want to disturb you. Therefore, I have not changed yet."
"Was that your first time?" Fugaku asked a dumb question. He felt it was impossible since he saw her and the former "Fugaku" snoring when he came over.
Mikoto paused to clean up the bedsheet when she heard this. Her eyes became moist, and she looked at Fugaku in resentment. "What are you mean?"
"Uh, sorry, my mistake." Fugaku realized issue and apologized . He didn't know how the girls in this world lived, and he thought she was like the girls in his world. He asked, and now it seemed inappropriate.
Fugaku's words made Mikoto lower her head. She was still cleaning up bedsheets with her hands, but he could tell why she was sad. Fugaku felt embarrassed, but he didn't know what to say for a moment.
"What is this thing? Is it yours?" Fugaku noticed Mikoto holding something that looked like a pendant in her hand, and she was curiously examining it. But at this sight, Fugaku was shocked, and he suddenly said it with a nervous and excited expression.
"Mikoto, show me." Mikoto looked at her husband's eager expression, and she was also confused, but she passed it on to him.
The pendant was taken by Fugaku and carefully examined for a while before he realized that the Aries pendant was symbolized by the ram. The ram has come to represent male fertility, aggression, and courage. A ram's horn is a part of a cornucopia, also known as the "horn of plenty", which symbolizes abundance. Historically, rams have often been used as symbols of leadership.
"What's wrong?" Mikoto asked suspiciously.
She felt that her husband was acting strange today, but she couldn't put her finger on it.
"It's nothing, it's nothing..." Fugaku chuckled. "Oh, by the way, Mikoto, get ready, and let's go out for a walk." After Fugaku finished speaking, he stepped forward to help her.
Mikoto smiled. With Fugaku grinning and holding her hand, Mikoto murmured, "You are acting weird today."
She and Fugaku had only moved in together last night. After returning home, Fugaku consumed too much alcohol and fell asleep.
The next morning, he realized that he possessed Fugaku as an alien soul. Strangely, he did not inherit Fugaku's memory, which made me feel quite bewildered after reading those Transmigrator novels.
But luckily, Mikoto and Fugaku had only started living together after their wedding the night before; otherwise, his living habits would have definitely shown a lot of oddities. However, how did he get here? Fugaku could guess that it must have something to do with pendant because he had seen it somewhere in his world.
It meant that this pendant had come from his world with him, so did it mean he could use this pendant to go back? But since he couldn't see anything unusual, Fugaku looked at it for a while and finally shook his head helplessly. It seemed that he could only wait to get used to the environment here first and then study it carefully.
Fugaku used to be a fan of anime, and he liked Naruto and One Piece very much, but he never thought about the possibility of crossing over, and now it seemed that these were real people, and it didn't feel like he was in an animated world at all.
Especially Mikoto, who was walking beside him; he took a glance at her, and she was really a beautiful woman. Before finding a way to go back, it seemed that he had to live as Fugaku for now.
He was about to wrap his arm around Mikoto's waist as he opened the door when three figures flashed before him, resembling three ninjas on a mission.
"It's amazing." Fugaku couldn't help but admire This was true: watching anime was one thing; watching real deal was another.
The visual impact was definitely not something civilian could handle. The jumping strength of these ninjas was really incredible.
"Huh? Did you say something?"
