Chapter 2: Strange Dream
As Haru drifted deeper into slumber, his awareness found itself engulfed in darkness, confined within the walls of a closed space.
Abruptly, a individual materialized before him—a young man clad in a vest, his face contorted with anger as he delivered a punch to Haru's face.
"You scoundrel! What have you done to Mikoto?" the young man seethed, his fury palpable, as if intent to kill him.
Confusion clouded Haru's thoughts. "Are you Fugaku Uchiha?" he asked seeking clarification.
Uchiha Fugaku nodded grimly, confirming Haru's suspicion.
"Is it true that my son will be responsible for the Uchiha clan massacre in the future?" Fugaku demanded, his tone heavy with accusation.
Realization dawned upon Haru—he was dreaming. Though accustomed to dreams filled with pursuits and romantic encounters, this one felt distinct.
It was a common dream, perhaps, but now, young man claimed to be Fugaku Uchiha, head of the Uchiha clan. The woman he had spent time with was identified as Uchiha Mikoto.
Haru couldn't help but scoff inwardly. This was absurd. Certain of his dreaming state, he felt no pressure. Gesturing nonchalantly, he addressed the young man before him.
"Of course, that's what happens in the Naruto anime. At the age of thirteen, Uchiha Itachi carried out Konoha's senior management's plan to massacre his whole clan, leaving behind only his little brother, Uchiha Sasuke."
Uchiha Fugaku, elated from his marriage to Uchiha Mikoto, had indulged in too much drink and succumbed to sleep upon returning to their room.
Reluctantly, he faced the person who bore a resemblance to him and spoke slowly, "Tell me everything about the Uchiha clan."
Having only glimpsed a fraction of the memory, he yearned for the full story. But to Haru, who remained indifferent in the dream, it mattered little.
Do you mean from the Sage of the Six Paths' son, Indra, or from the Nine-Tails' rebellion?" Haru inquired, seeking clarification.
"From the birth of my first son," Fugaku responded.
Haru, though lacking in historical knowledge, eagerly shared his impressions, "I may not know much about that time, but your two sons are undeniably remarkable, especially the eldest."
In Haru's perspective, Uchiha Itachi's prowess overshadowed that of Sasuke's, to the extent that he believed Sasuke lived in Itachi's shadow. However, he kept this observation to himself.
He proceeded to recount events from the Third Ninja War to the Fourth, narrating how Uchiha Itachi was summoned through impure world reincarnation, their confrontation with Yakushi Kabuto, and Sasuke's role in sealing Kaguya before his duel with Naruto, which resulted in the loss of his hand.
Fugaku listened intently, engrossed in the tales Haru shared. Their conversation stretched into the night, its duration unbeknownst to them, until Haru finally paused to catch his breath.
"That's the extent of my knowledge—it's all from the anime," Haru concluded.
Fugaku then made a solemn request, "Can you promise me one thing?"
Perplexed, Haru responded, "What is it?"
"Help me protect the Uchiha clan, safeguard Mikoto, and guide our sons," Fugaku said as he looked like he had made decision.
Confused by the request, Haru questioned, "Are you drunk? Dude, you are the clan head of the Uchiha clan. How can I help you?" Even in the dream, he struggled to understand.
He knew this was his only bargaining chip. He couldn't reclaim his body, but he could offer his strength and Sharingan. He hoped this would persuade the haru to help him fulfill his last wish.
Feeling powerless, Fugaku placed his hopes on the young man, who seemed about his age.
Haru thought, "It's just a dream, so why not promise him?" With that thought, he nodded without hesitation. "Sure, count on me."
When Fugaku heard Haru's agreement, a smile graced his lips as he raised his right hand, palm out, signaling a high-five.
Haru, understanding the gesture as a vow, eagerly clapped his hand against Fugaku's.
"My clan, and Mikoto are in your hand now."
His last word echoed-----
