I Am A Wizard Who Can Travel Between Earth And The Other World

Chapter 115 Artifact Analysis

Gin returned home, his body seeking the comforting embrace of his enchanted bed. As he lay down, a deep sense of relaxation began to envelop him.

This was no ordinary bed—it was a magical artifact imbued with three powerful enchantments: deep sleep, fatigue recovery, and condition restoration. Gin had personally refined the enchantments, ensuring they worked harmoniously.

Despite the pull of sleep, he forced himself to sit up. There was important work to do before he rested.

Though the spatial artifact could wait, today's discovery—a new spell technique—needed immediate refinement and documentation.

He aimed to integrate the spell into his domain magic, allowing him to effortlessly distinguish between people from Earth and those of the hidden world.

His mind buzzed with focused energy as he broke the spell components down and meticulously reconstructed them. Hours slipped away unnoticed.

By the time dawn's soft glow seeped through his window, Gin collapsed onto the bed, exhaustion claiming him.

When he awoke, the sun had already risen high in the sky.

"Refreshed," he murmured with a contented smile as he stretched.

He stepped into the bathroom and let cool water wash away the remnants of sleep. Emerging fully revitalized, he marveled at how even the strain of magical research had dissolved.

Truly, a well-crafted bed was invaluable.

With his mind and body restored, he craved a proper start to the day—a perfect cup of coffee.

Morning Ritual

Gin left his bedroom and headed to the living room.

Though the mansion had coffee machines in various rooms—guest parlors, even his private research lab—he preferred the one here for its ease of access.

After preparing a cup, he blended it with his carefully brewed drip coffee. He took a sip, savoring the rich, velvety flavor that danced across his tongue.

The aroma flooded his senses, a symphony of perfection. The taste confirmed what he already knew—he had surpassed yet another threshold in his magical journey.

As his core grew and his mana reserves expanded, even the flavor of his coffee evolved subtly. Though future growth would likely yield diminishing returns, Gin could still appreciate the gradual refinement in taste for now.

Lost in the pleasure of his morning brew, he was interrupted by a staff member who entered the room.

"Sir, Jay has arrived," the attendant informed him respectfully.

"Let him in," Jay replied with a nod.

Minutes later, Jay burst into the room, his eyes immediately locking onto the coffee in Gin's hands.

"You're drinking coffee? What about me?" Gin whined dramatically as he hurried over and plopped onto the opposite sofa, his gaze pleading and hopeful.

Gin stared at him, amused by the exaggerated display. Ever since Gin realized Gin wouldn't open a coffee business, his obsession with getting free coffee had intensified.

With a resigned sigh, Gin finally stood. "Alright. Just this once."

Jay's face lit up with childlike glee. As Gin prepared the coffee, Jay silently celebrated, pumping his fist in the air.

Moments later, Gin handed him a cup. Jay accepted it with reverence, as though he had been granted a king's treasure. Gin waited patiently while Jay savored each sip, watching his companion's expression shift between bliss and longing for just one more taste.

"By the way," Jay began casually after finishing his coffee, "should we contact Team Épée again?"

Gin shook his head. "No need."

He had already gained what he wanted from them. There was no point in further interaction unless necessary.

Jay leaned back, relaxing into the sofa. "Oh, about that artifact we gave them yesterday—what was the deal with that?"

"It's nothing special," Jay said with a dismissive wave. "I've been working at the Runewright Workshop lately, and through that, I've gotten acquainted with other workshops. Sometimes, they sell defective magic tools dirt cheap. That shield generator was one of those."

Gin raised an eyebrow. "A defective tool that still works that well?"

Jay chuckled. "Yeah, sometimes the defects are minor—barely noticeable unless you're picky. They're happy to offload them, and I get to make deals that impress people like Team Épée. Win-win, right?"

Gin silently nodded, his thoughts already shifting back to his research.

There was always more to uncover, and today's work had only just begun. The path of a magician was endless, but each step forward brought new revelations, and for Gin, every discovery was a victory.

Gin reclined on his bed, exhaustion beginning to seep into his bones. The bed, a masterpiece of magical craftsmanship, was no ordinary piece of furniture. Enchanted with three powerful spells—deep sleep, fatigue recovery, and condition restoration—it offered unparalleled comfort. Tae-soo had even tailored the enchantments to better suit his needs.

For a moment, he let the bed's magic cradle him, his body urging him to succumb to rest. But the excitement coursing through his mind made sleep impossible.

The discovery of the new artifact, the spatial bracelet, left him restless. He had to unravel its secrets. Tonight, however, he would focus on refining a recently acquired spell that could distinguish between Earth-born and hidden world denizens. Integrating this spell into his domain magic would elevate his abilities to new heights.

His mind hummed with activity as he mentally dismantled the spell, analyzed its core components, and reassembled it piece by piece. Hours passed unnoticed, and before he knew it, dawn's light crept through his window. Drained, he finally succumbed to sleep.

When Gin awoke, the sun had climbed high into the sky. He stretched, feeling remarkably refreshed.

"That bed's worth every coin," he muttered with a satisfied grin, heading to the bathroom. The cool water invigorated him further, washing away the last traces of exhaustion.

Fully revitalized, he craved the perfect start to the day: coffee.

In the spacious living room of his mansion, Gin approached one of several coffee machines strategically placed throughout the house. From his private research lab to the guest lounge, each area was equipped with a machine. However, this one was his favorite.

He brewed a rich cup of coffee and blended it with his meticulously crafted drip brew. With the first sip, an explosion of flavor and aroma overwhelmed his senses. The coffee was nothing short of divine. Gin savored the taste, reflecting on how even his coffee evolved as his mana reserves expanded.

At that moment, a staff member entered, bowing politely. "Sir,Jay is here to see you."

"Let him in," Gin responded with a nod.
