I Am A Wizard Who Can Travel Between Earth And The Other World

Chapter 111 The Gifts Within the Box

Inside the box lay two bracelets, their presence suffused with a subtle but unmistakable magical energy.

Upon seeing them, Kyrie Lynchfield gasped, her face contorted in shock.

"Hey! Are you sure about giving those to him?"

Gin blinked in confusion, glancing between her and the bracelets.

Kyrie clamped her mouth shut, fidgeting anxiously as she alternated between looking at the bracelets and Owen Frieden.

"They're perfectly fine," Owen reassured her with a calm smile. "This wasn't an unauthorized transfer. One bracelet is for protection—something I thought Gin Mage might find useful. The other… well, it's the spatial artifact I mentioned to you before."

Gin's mind whirled, memories flooding back in a rush.

"This is… the artifact you said you were researching?" he asked in disbelief.

Owen averted his gaze, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Well… since you seemed so interested in artifacts, I thought you'd make good use of it…"

Gin stared at him, stunned. The surprise Owen had shown earlier when Gin mentioned his research had been an act—he had known all along.

He wasn't just offering gifts on a whim; this had been deliberate.

"It's really nothing special," Owen added casually. "There are plenty of artifacts, and these were part of my share.

I decided to give you one of them."

Nothing special? Gin could hardly believe it.

Why was Owen, and now even Kyrie, so eager to offer him valuable artifacts? This was only their third meeting, yet they were showering him with treasures as if he were a trusted ally.

His gaze drifted to Andrella Willex, the most enigmatic and potentially dangerous presence in the room.

Andrella raised her hands defensively.

"Don't look at me like that. I didn't bring an artifact as a gift. I'm not here to compete."

She handed over a box containing a masterfully crafted magical tool. It wasn't powered by mana stones, similar to the artifact Gin had seen in Lorien Vareth's possession. Andrella glanced between Kyrie and Gin, her eyes sharp with perception.

"Look, I'm observant. I know how to handle these situations, so you can trust me," she said with a disarming smile.

Kyrie chuckled and spoke warmly.

"Well, it sounds like you're going to be getting along with us just fine. Right, Gin?"

Andrella's face brightened, her excitement barely contained. While she acknowledged Tae-soo's talents, she still couldn't fully comprehend Owen's reverence for him.

To her, there were plenty of great mages in the world—why the fuss over one more?

As the atmosphere lightened, Gin stood and clapped his hands together.

"Since everyone's enjoying themselves, it's time to serve my secret-recipe coffee. I promise it'll be worth the wait."

He walked over to the coffee machine, seamlessly integrated into the drawing room's elegant decor.

Despite the machine's presence, it felt entirely at home within the refined space. With practiced ease, Gin brewed and poured the coffee into exquisite cups, placing one before each guest. He gestured for them to try it.

Andrella Willex was the first to lift her cup.

She appeared eager to calm her nerves with a warm drink. However, her reaction upon tasting the coffee was far from subtle.

"Mmhm!" she hummed softly, a strange, almost involuntary sound escaping her lips. She let the rich flavors wash over her senses, savoring the aftertaste with a serene, almost blissful expression. Slowly, she opened her eyes and caught the incredulous stares of Kyrie and Owen.

"Was my reaction a bit much?" she asked sheepishly, though her tone hinted that she didn't regret it.

Neither Kyrie nor Owen replied, though their silence spoke volumes.

"This… is beyond amazing," Andrella sighed. She glanced at Gin with a mixture of awe and longing.

"I've never wanted someone this badly before," she murmured half-jokingly, then stole a glance at Kyrie to gauge her reaction.

Kyrie's narrowed eyes betrayed a subtle warning, prompting Andrella to retreat into another sip of coffee.

The taste enveloped her senses like a storm, overwhelming her with pleasure.

Seeing this, Kyrie and Owen hurriedly lifted their own cups. The moment the coffee touched their tongues, they understood Andrella's reaction perfectly—they too found themselves momentarily lost in the flavor.

For several minutes, no words were exchanged in the drawing room.

The only sounds were the occasional soft murmurs of delight as the guests savored the drink. Eventually, all three cups were emptied, and the enchantment broke.

"How was it?" Gin asked with a playful smile.

The three guests stared at him with a mix of admiration and desire. Andrella spoke first.

"Have you ever considered starting a business with this? You'd be unstoppable."

Gin chuckled and shook his head.

"For now, I plan to keep it as a special gift for friends."

"Ah, what a shame," Andrella sighed, her eyes glimmering with disappointment.

Gin reached under the table and placed three large, ornate boxes before them.

"These are for you.

You can drink the coffee chilled for a different flavor or heat it slightly for a richer taste. Just don't dilute it—it'll lose its essence."

The sight of the boxes left all three guests speechless, their eyes widening in delight.

"This is the best gift I've ever received," Kyrie said with a radiant smile.

"I'll have to ration this carefully," Owen muttered, already dreading the day it would run out.

"If I see the amount dwindling, I'll cry," Andrella added dramatically, though the sparkle in her eyes betrayed her joy.

Gin laughed heartily.

"If you run out, just contact me. Friends don't need to hold back."

Their faces lit up with unrestrained happiness. Andrella leaned forward, her gaze intense.

"Please, if you ever need anything—anything—don't hesitate to reach out. I'll help however I can. That's a promise."

"Same here," Kyrie chimed in, raising her hand. "Oh, and don't forget—you promised to visit Dustron someday."

Owen shot her a glare and interjected.

" Lumar first."

Kyrie laughed and turned to Gin.

"Well, you're the one who gets to decide."

Owen faced Gin with a steady gaze.

"I'll be waiting, trusting your word."

Gin could only offer a sheepish smile, caught between his new friends' playful rivalry.

After the guests departed, Gin stood in the quiet of his home. His mind was already drawn to the artifacts, particularly the spatial artifact Owen had gifted him.

The true depths of its secrets awaited him—and he was determined to uncover them.
