Chapter 20: Ch-20: Encountering Chaos
Ch-20: Encountering Chaos
As I made my way to my company, I prepared for meetings and worked on designs for machines for our factory. I had taken over the company at the age of eighteen, and I was determined to make it thrive.
After a series of meetings, I called out to my secretary.
"Ah Ningshu!"
She was Ah Ming's mother and a close friend of my mom. She knew how adept I was at running a business and the strict rules I enforced.
"Ah, dear! How are you doing? And how is Ah Ming?" she asked, her voice warm.
"Aunt Ning, I'm doing well, and Ah Ming misses you. She asked me to give you some time off to enjoy with her," I replied. Ah Ming had been adopted by Ah Ningshu since she hadn't married during her younger years, and she loved her as her own daughter.

"Yes, Chairman Ye King. Anything else?" she asked.
"No, just make sure you leave on time and tell everyone to do the same. Health is important! Okay, I'm off," I said, heading toward my car.
I drove to the restaurant she had recommended. After about ten minutes, I arrived, but as I approached, I noticed a commotion inside.
I was shocked to see who was causing the trouble. She was—
