Chapter 223: [223]: I'm The Strongest?
"Me…" Cyr lowered his eyes.
He was basically just killing time, waiting for the system to send him to the correct timeline a thousand years in the future.
But who knew when that would happen? He was currently in a state of having no active quests.
Well—not none exactly. His main quest was to destroy the world consciousness.
The problem was… he had no clue how.
He'd have to lure it out first. Like in the previous world, where his massive changes to the plot had pushed the world consciousness to the edge and made it attack him.
Hmm… was he going to have to do the same thing here?
But altering the original plotline… how was he supposed to do that?
He didn't even know what had happened a thousand years ago.
"I haven't figured that out yet," Cyr admitted.
"…If you go too far, I'll have no choice but to step in. You know that, right, Cyr-kun?" Gojō Haru said gently, like always—like a refined gentleman.
"…Of course," the boy smiled faintly. "You wouldn't be able to beat me, though."
His tone was flat and matter-of-fact.
No need to put on airs in front of someone with the Six Eyes.
Gojō Haru could probably see that for himself.
If Cyr only had Gojō Satoru's skills, then he'd probably be on par with Haru.
But… he also had Sukuna's abilities.
"…Which is exactly why I don't want to fight you," Gojō Haru sighed, unable to help himself.
When it came to others, he usually couldn't gauge their strength this precisely.
But… the resonance between two pairs of Six Eyes allowed them to vaguely sense each other's true power.
"So that means… I'm the strongest in the jujutsu world right now, huh?" Cyr's eyes lit up instantly.
The former strongest, Gojō Haru, fell silent.
Should he acknowledge it… or deny it?
"I know what I'm going to do," Cyr said as he abruptly stood up.
Gojō Haru immediately felt a sense of foreboding and stared silently at the boy.
"Since I'm the strongest, I should be treated like it," the white-haired teen grinned, his smile full of arrogance.
No way was he going to end up like Gojō Satoru or even Haru—nominally the strongest, while constantly facing both open and covert exclusion.
If he was the strongest, then he deserved the treatment of the strongest.
"Let's start… with the Zen'in clan," he murmured.
Gojō Haru watched him vanish right in front of him and couldn't help but sigh.
He really didn't want to fight another Six Eyes user. No one understood better than him just how hard that was to deal with.
But… it seemed inevitable now.
"Better get ready for a fight," Gojō Haru sighed.
But first, he'd wait.
Since Cyr was starting with the Zen'in clan, he might as well see what cards they had to play.
Even if he warned them that someone was coming to wipe them out, they probably wouldn't believe him.
That's the self-confidence of the Big Three families for you…
Only when pride and arrogance are crushed beneath someone's heel will they start listening to what others say.
That said, the Zen'in clan wasn't exactly an easy target either.
---
The Zen'in estate, as one of the Big Three, was an expansive compound.
It had dedicated training grounds and rooms for confining cursed spirits.
Those spirits were used by Zen'in sorcerers as training dummies.
If Cyr was going to start with the Zen'in clan, then the first step—naturally—was to kill.
Only after cutting down a decent number of people to showcase his power would these arrogant bastards even begin to listen.
So, he blasted apart the Zen'in clan's front gate right off the bat and killed every person who rushed over in response.
One wave after another.
Blood painted the stone path at the gate deep red. He stepped onto the stairway of corpses and walked right through the Zen'in front doors.
Waiting for him were the real backbone of the clan—and at the forefront, Zen'in Shō.
Ah, of course the clan head was here. That made perfect sense.
And this guy had inherited the Ten Shadows technique too… which meant if pushed, he could summon the strongest adaptation: Mahoraga.
That thing was… a bit of a problem.
"What is the Gojō clan trying to pull?!" an elder behind Zen'in Shō growled furiously, immediately pinning this on the Gojōs.
Cyr's appearance hadn't even taken half a day to spread across the jujutsu world.
Because—he was the second white-haired person to appear from the Gojō clan.
Thankfully, not the second Six Eyes.
But still—because of the white hair, people were already assuming he was highly talented and powerful.
"What I'm doing has nothing to do with the Gojō clan," the white-haired boy said with a lazy chuckle. "Don't worry—after I'm done with you, they're next. I'm pretty fair like that."
The black markings on his face were extremely prominent.
So prominent that—
"Cursed creature!" one of the Zen'in elders spat, mistaking him for something other than human.
"He's already been consumed by corruption. No matter your relationship with Gojō Haru, the Zen'in clan demands an explanation," one of the clan's elders declared coldly.
"An explanation?" Cyr tilted his head, raising a brow.
"Go ask for it in hell," he sneered.
The front gate of the Zen'in estate slammed shut with a gust of wind. What happened inside… no one knew.
All the outside world heard was this:
Someone had launched an attack on the Zen'in clan.
Such a blatant challenge to one of the Big Three clans—was sheer madness.
Utter disregard for authority.
The destruction didn't stop until half the Zen'in estate was reduced to rubble.
Two figures fought from the sky to the ground, demolishing building after building in their wake.
"Even that thing has been unleashed…" Gojō Haru finally arrived and looked up at the airborne clash, sighing inwardly.
The most untamable shikigami of the Zen'in clan's Ten Shadows technique—Mahoraga.
It could only be summoned once in a lifetime.
Because once summoned, even if it killed the enemy, it would also kill its summoner.
For Zen'in Shō to use it meant one thing—he was prepared to die with his enemy.
Or rather, he had been pushed to that point.
Mahoraga possessed the most powerful adaptive ability, capable of adjusting to any technique it had encountered.
And while defeating it wasn't impossible…
There was really only one way to do it.
You had to obliterate it from the start—before it could adapt.
That meant a single, overwhelming blow from a move it had never seen before.
A one-hit kill.
Even with 100% output of Reversal: Red, it still might not be enough.
To guarantee success, Cyr made a decision…
Time to draw some cards.
"Wheel of Law."
A cool blue roulette appeared in mid-air.
Three random cards materialized: [Reversed Justice], [Reversed Devil], [Upright Death].
The fourth: [Upright World].
"For the fifth… give me [Upright Judgment]," Cyr declared, locking it in.
He applied the two debuff cards to Mahoraga, while the three buff cards were stacked on himself—tripling the effect.
A 175% power boost.
That meant…
He could definitely end Mahoraga in one move.
"Technique Reversal – Red."
