Chapter 5: Chapter 5: RenX (Syafi)
A Battle Against the Strongest
Dzeth stood without fear, facing Silakh Hawk, the second-strongest human in the region. Silakh's eyes glowed a crimson red, filled with killing intent. Suddenly, he activated the Celestial Beast Hunter Technique, a special ability that allowed him to transform parts of his body into those of mythical or extinct creatures.
In an instant, his arm morphed into that of a massive yeti, covered in thick fur.
"Prepare yourself, kid!" Silakh roared, swinging his enormous fist toward Dzeth with immense force.
-
Silakh's Attack
The punch was powerful, but a bit too slow for Dzeth. With ease, he dodged to the side before attempting a counterattack. He drove his fist straight into Silakh's abdomen—
But it had no effect.
Silakh smirked. "Pathetic."
Before Dzeth could react, Silakh's massive hand gripped his wrist tightly. With a single swing, he flung Dzeth across the battlefield, sending him crashing into a large tree. The impact made the tree tremble violently, nearly toppling over.
As Dzeth sat on the ground, dazed, he thought, "I'm not strong enough to fight him."
-
The Arrival of RenX - The Strongest Hunter On City
Before Silakh could launch another attack, a shadow suddenly descended from the sky. With a powerful punch, it struck Silakh's head!
Although Silakh wasn't knocked down, the sheer force pushed him back a few steps.
"RenX…" Silakh muttered, clenching his teeth.
Standing before Dzeth was none other than his older brother, Syafi the strongest Grade-S Hunter in the entire region!
Syafi glanced at Silakh, then said, "Let me handle him."
Dzeth, still catching his breath, nodded. "Uhh… okay. Come on, Akanza, let's move away."
Akanza quickly nodded and followed Dzeth to a safer distance.
-
Syafi vs. Silakh - A Difference in Power
Silakh hesitated, his face betraying his unease. "Y-You're the strongest Grade-S in this city…"
Syafi smirked. "That's right. Wanna fight?"
Silakh chuckled nervously. "Just… don't hit too hard, okay? Hehe… I'm not that strong."
Before he could even blink, Syafi was already in front of him.
BAM!
A devastating punch crashed into Silakh's skull, sending him flying backward.
"Want another one?" Syafi asked, his voice taunting.
Silakh struggled to his feet. "Let me fight your brother instead!"
Syafi shook his head. "How can you get stronger if you keep fighting people weaker than you?"
-
Silakh's Awakening - Celestial Beast Hunter Technique!
Frustrated and enraged, Silakh let out a primal roar and activated his Awakening: Celestial Beast Hunter Technique!
His body grew into a three-meter-tall monstrous form, complete with razor-sharp claws, massive fangs, and overwhelming power.
But Syafi remained unfazed.
With lightning speed, he dashed toward Silakh and struck him down effortlessly. Then, he activated Luck Hunter Technique, boosting his attack speed by +70%.
"You're finished."
Before Silakh could react, Syafi unleashed a relentless barrage of high-speed punches. Each impact created shockwaves, filling the battlefield with thick smoke.
From a distance, Dzeth and Akanza watched in awe.
Dzeth let out a sigh of relief. "Good thing Syafi showed up…"
-
Silakh's Defeat!
As the dust settled, Silakh lay unconscious on the ground. He had been completely overpowered by Syafi's brutal assault.
Syafi slowly walked over to Hwang, who stood frozen in fear.
The corner of Syafi's lips curled into a smirk. "You wanted to fight my brother? Look at who his family is first."
Without hesitation, Hwang turned and fled.
-
At the Restaurant - Discussing Strength
After the intense battle, Dzeth, Syafi, and Akanza went to a restaurant to rest and talk.
Dzeth lowered his head. "I'm sorry, Akanza… I couldn't protect you back there. I was too weak."
Akanza quickly shook his head. "I should be the one apologizing. I'm the one who invited you there… I didn't know Hwang and his father were waiting."
The atmosphere was a bit tense, but eventually, they laughed it off and continued chatting over their meal. Afterward, they returned home.
-
Silakh and Hwang's Revenge!
The next morning, on his way to the academy, Dzeth was suddenly ambushed—by Hwang and his father, Silakh, who had already recovered from his defeat.
Silakh grinned wickedly. "This time, I'll erase you for good."
But Dzeth was ready.
He recalled Syafi's teachings on Hunter Techniques and activated Maximum Positive, lifting both Silakh and Hwang into the air.
Silakh quickly canceled the effect and smashed the ground with a powerful punch, creating a shockwave that sent Dzeth flying.
Hwang immediately followed up with a barrage of rapid punches, landing each one directly on Dzeth's body.
Then, Silakh grabbed Dzeth and hurled him into a tree. The impact was so severe that Dzeth could barely move anymore.
Hwang smirked. "It's over."
Silakh raised his fist, preparing for the finishing blow—
But just before his punch connected, his hand suddenly froze in mid-air.
Dzeth's eyes glowed with a deep violet hue.
-
Infinity Speed Activated!
In an instant, Dzeth vanished.
BOOM!
He reappeared behind Silakh at five times his usual speed—
And delivered a devastating punch to his back!
Silakh stumbled forward, struggling to keep his balance.
Dzeth rushed in for the finishing strike.
"Die," he whispered.
But just as he was about to land the final blow—
He hesitated.
A painful memory resurfaced in his mind—his younger sibling, murdered by a Hunter.
I don't want to become like them…
In the end, Dzeth canceled his attack and collapsed to the ground.
His vision blurred.
Darkness took over.
He had lost consciousness.
