Chapter 215: Chapter 215: Christmas Ball (Part Two)
Unbeknownst to Jane Yu, behind the five-person composite version of Blaise was the burden-bearing journey of one individual.
Long before Christmas, the real Blaise had already fallen victim.
First, he was blasted with potions by the Weasley he was paired with in class, and then his hair was yanked out.
Holding his head with a bald patch, Blaise was speechless with grief.
But when he returned to the common room to complain, he not only received no comfort but was again brutally attacked by unknown individuals pulling his hair.
Successfully becoming the bottom of the Slytherin food chain, he cried bitterly, yet received no sympathy from the little snakes.
But his unlucky days weren't over yet.
On the day of the Christmas ball, while half-asleep, two shadows stealthily entered his dormitory and struck him on the head.
The kidnappers were quick and precise, swiftly tying him up after knocking him down, even stuffing a rag in his mouth.
Poor Blaise had to turn into a caterpillar, cocooning at the foot of his bed in a sack.
With a bruised face, he left behind his last words:
"If I were to do it again, no matter how fun, I wouldn't dare do this!"
Successfully reforming a joker, Jane Yu praised the outcome.
...
Blaise Zabini, who was bagged, was soon rescued by Snape leading a team.
Six Blaises stood together, looking at each other in confusion.
Standing beside them were the iron-faced Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape, along with Jane Yu and Dumbledore, who couldn't believe their eyes.
The effects of the Polyjuice Potion quickly wore off, and they all hung their heads in shame.
Jane Yu then discovered that besides Theodore and Draco, who had danced with her, there were Ginny and her twin brothers.
She couldn't tell whether the Blaise who danced with her was Fred or George.
Professor McGonagall was the first to speak up, shouting:
"Ridiculous! Ridiculous! Weasleys, why are you always involved in such incidents?!"
The twins and Ginny exchanged desperate glances, while Theodore and Draco, under Snape's sinister gaze, broke out in cold sweat.
"Coincidentally, my storeroom's African Boomslang skin has become empty," Snape said in a low voice, "And even more coincidentally, Nott and Malfoy, my excellent Potions students, managed to blow up their cauldrons and send themselves to detention."
"I thought you were brain-damaged by the tarantella dance, but you had ulterior motives."
The two turned pale, almost unable to utter a word.
"Students and teachers from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang witnessed your actions!" Professor McGonagall's fury almost materialized, "You've brought disgrace upon Hogwarts—become a laughingstock—Albus, I think we must issue a severe warning to these students!"
But Snape sneered, quickly realizing that Potter and another Weasley were missing.
"Minerva, perhaps we should hold our horses; we're missing two students here."
Harry and Ron were brought to the scene by Filch, like chicks being carried.
Under the dual pressure of Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape, they quickly confessed to the theft.
The kidnapping case was swiftly reconstructed.
On the day of the incident, kidnappers Theodore and Draco worked closely together, one casting a spell to knock Blaise down, the other tying him up.
Afterward, they lifted Blaise, one by the head and one by the feet, and stuffed him into a sack.
After taking the Polyjuice Potion, they turned on each other, with Theodore narrowly winning and replacing the victim to carry out the scam.
Draco, meanwhile, went to the hall entrance to await the operation.
Unfortunately, this Slytherin kidnapper encountered the other three Gryffindor scammers among the rose bushes.
Enemies meeting was exceptionally intense, but Draco, outnumbered, retained his sanity.
In the face of being outnumbered, he successfully restrained their actions by threatening to report to the professors.
The four devised an entrance sequence.
But the plan had a flaw, as Snape, who was patrolling for early dating, parted the rose bushes and initiated justice!
The three Weasleys were caught on the spot, and Draco, returning from the ball to boast about the crime scene, ran into trouble!
Meanwhile, the other kidnapper, Theodore, unfortunately met Snape's deadly gaze while returning with a coat.
"You—you—" Professor McGonagall trembled, her finger pointing, struggling to speak, "So absurd, stealing ingredients for a dance partner, secretly brewing Polyjuice Potion—knocking out classmates—"
Her incredulous gaze turned to the only 'obedient' girl, Ginny, who sniffled and replied:
"I'm sorry—but it was a limited edition Yu—ball special custom evening gown edition—"
Professor McGonagall nearly fainted!
And Jane Yu also felt the absurdity!
Are these people mentally okay?
Secretly brewing Polyjuice Potion to cosplay Blaise, just to dance with her?
After hearing all this, even the always kind and caring Dumbledore felt it exceeded his tolerance.
Five whole people! Competing! For one Jane Yu!
Realizing all this revolved around his own child, for the first time in his life, he felt the impulse to expel all these students.
He suddenly understood Snape's behavior of patrolling for early dating.
Fortunately, his rationality allowed him to control himself and began heartfelt persuasion:
"Though youth is wonderful—children, you must learn to control jealousy—"
"This time it's knocking out classmates, secretly brewing Polyjuice Potion, next time? Losing your mind will lead you to irreversible mistakes—"
Seeing everyone silent, he believed his persuasion had succeeded and made a judgment:
"I'm afraid I must impose detention on all of you, lasting the entire academic year—"
Snape sneered, reminding:
"Potter and Weasley's detention time already covers the entire academic year."
Dumbledore paused, pressing his temples in distress, quickly making a decision:
"In that case, I suppose they need to contribute to the school—"
"I'm afraid I can only add an extra detention for you, Filch will tell you what needs to be done."
Harry was pale, and Ron collapsed in despair.
At this point, he would rather strip off his ugly maroon velvet gown and streak through Gryffindor Tower—
Than face Snape and Filch every week!
