# Ron

"Well, at least those Blast-Ended Skrewts are still small," Ron remarked, as they returned to the castle for lunch an hour later.

# Hermione

"They're small for now," Hermione said in an exasperated tone.

# Hermione

"But once Hagrid figures out what they eat, I bet they'll shoot up to six feet in no time. The smartest thing to do would be to nip them in the bud before they start attacking us."

# Harry

"We've got two Divination classes this afternoon," Harry sighed, glancing at his schedule.

# Hermione

"You two should just drop that class like I did," Hermione suggested, spreading butter on her bread with a cheerful air.

# Hermione

"Then we could take something more intellectual together, like Arithmancy."

Ron froze mid-bite into his pie, apparently weighing whether dealing with Arithmancy was worse than enduring Trelawney.

That afternoon, Hermione headed straight to the library. Orli, Harry, and Ron, fighting off post-lunch drowsiness, trudged up to the North Tower, yawning all the way.

Reaching the top of the spiral staircase, they were greeted by the familiar sweet scent of the fire. Everything was just as it always had been: the curtains drawn tight, the circular room illuminated by numerous lamps draped with scarves and shawls, casting the room in a hazy red glow.

# Trelawney

"My dears, it's time to study the stars," came Professor Trelawney's ethereal, dreamlike voice from behind the drapes. She floated past them and settled gracefully into a large armchair by the fire.

# Trelawney

"The movements of the planets and their mysterious signs can only be deciphered by those who understand the celestial dance. Human destiny can be unraveled through the light of the planets, their interwoven beams..."

Lavender and Parvati exchanged quick glances with Orli. Orli knew they were thinking about last year's prophecy—a rogue meteor that disrupted the stars' paths.

Feeling sleepy, Orli tuned out Trelawney's rambling. Half an hour later, the professor handed out intricate circular charts, instructing them to fill in their birth planets' positions and assigning a mountain of homework.

Although Ron grumbled non-stop after class, Orli felt relieved as they entered the Great Hall. Nothing unusual had happened that evening—Malfoy hadn't stirred up trouble, they hadn't run into Moody, and no one had been turned into a ferret.

Maybe, just maybe, she'd succeeded in altering the storyline. This Moody seemed to be the real Mad-Eye Moody, and nothing was going to replay itself. A sense of relief washed over her, even boosting her appetite. She finished the beef stew Hermione had piled onto her plate—a dish she usually avoided.

Hermione, however, ate even faster than Orli, practically inhaling her food. Glancing at Hermione's bag, Orli noticed a few books sticking out, all seemingly related to house-elves.

# Harry

"You're not going to the library again tonight, are you?" Harry asked, watching her.

# Hermione

"Of course I am," Hermione replied, her words muffled by a mouthful of food.

# Hermione

"There's loads of work to do."

Five minutes later, Hermione finished her meal and hurried off. Fred promptly claimed her seat, with George and Lee Jordan flanking him.

# Fred

"We had Moody's class this afternoon," Fred said, his tone brimming with excitement.

# Harry

"How was it?" Harry asked eagerly.

Fred, George, and Lee exchanged knowing looks.

# George

"Never had a class like it," George said.

# Lee Jordan

"He really knows his stuff," Lee Jordan added.

# Ron

"Knows what?" Ron leaned in, curious.

# Fred

"How to fight the Dark Arts," Fred replied.

# George

"He's seen everything," George said, clearly impressed.

Ron rummaged through his bag for his schedule.

# Ron

"We don't have his class until Thursday!" he said, his voice tinged with disappointment.
