HP: I’m working on redemption at Hogwarts

Chapter 159 Duel Club

The basement has always been quiet, and the smell of damp rust is everywhere. The white mist rising from the brewing potion caused the surrounding stone walls to be covered with long-lasting moss.

Looking along the wall, there are glass jars containing various animal specimens, and the raw materials used in potion experiments are neatly placed in the lockers below.

At the small round table in the corner, two familiar figures were sitting next to each other, tinkering with something in front of the small table. Draco's handsome back hair was already soaked with sweat. He ruffled the messy hair on his forehead and put the unicorn tail hair into a stone mortar and pounded it continuously.

The blond girl on the side was assisting Draco, stirring the bubbling unknown liquid in the crucible clockwise at a constant speed.

Boom boom boom!

There was an unexpected knock on the door, causing Draco and Astoria to look up at the same time, and then subconsciously glanced back at Snape, who was grading papers with a frown on his face.

"Come in," Snape said impatiently.

The next moment, a black-haired girl wearing a Slytherin uniform walked in.

Astoria remembered her as the senior sister who brought her back to the Slytherin common room on the first day of school - Lilith Black.

Seeing the figure at the door, Professor Snape's mouth curved in a rare way.

Is it a smile? Astoria must have read it correctly...

Lilith Black's eyes just glanced at Draco and Astoria's small round table, and then slowly approached Snape's desk.

Snape slowly raised his head, "Lilith, what's wrong?"

"/Lilith~ What's wrong~ Uh..." Draco's eyes almost rolled to the sky, if Astoria hadn't lightly bumped his shoulder as a reminder.

Apparently, Draco Malfoy was jealous simply because his godfather, whom he respected so much, smiled at a strange woman.

"Who on earth does she think she is? She dares to talk to the professor like this." Looking at the teachers and students who were getting along harmoniously in the distance, Draco muttered quietly, but his face was obviously twisted with jealousy, which still exposed his thoughts.

Sigh... It seems that our arrogant young master is jealous because of such a trivial matter...

Astoria didn't know what to say, but she noticed that Professor Snape was looking at him and pulled Draco's sleeve to divert his attention.

"Watch your expression, Draco."

……

This incident is just a small episode in daily life. They don't often meet Senior Lilith.

Soon, a very important event in Hogwarts this year arrived on time, and that was the duel held by the Duel Club.

This was an event organized by Professor Lockhart on his own. Naturally, he was the first to stand on a high platform and introduce it to everyone like he was bragging, and by the way, he lectured on his "great" deeds in front of the students.

Obviously, the deans of several other houses were extremely resistant to this extremely boring activity, and only Professor Lockhart presided over the duel activity.

Soon, after the senior students finished their demonstration, a slightly flustered boy was forced onto the stage by Lockhart.

That's Harry Potter!

His expression didn't seem to have recovered from the excitement of watching the excitement. He looked around the audience in confusion, his face suddenly turning red.

"The saint is special and can't control his swagger again." Draco secretly mocked Harry as usual, and eagerly jumped forward when Lohart was recruiting volunteers.

"OK, let's look forward to the famous battle scene between the Boy-Who-Lived and the pure-blood noble master! Wow!"

Professor Lockhart really stood up without feeling any pain in his back, and the words flowing out of his mouth brought the atmosphere of this duel event to its climax!

"Wand in place!"

Draco and Harry raised their wands in front of their eyes at the same time, their alert and serious eyes full of naked malice towards each other.

"OK, one, two,..."

"Everte Statum!"

Draco took the lead, shouting a spell in a loud voice and pointing his wand at the person opposite.

The next moment, Harry rolled backwards and fell to the ground uncontrollably, falling awkwardly at Lockhart's feet.

"Rictusempra" Harry stood up and fired back almost immediately. Draco was knocked down by the spell unprepared and knelt on the floor in embarrassment.

Suddenly, as if he had been stabbed in the flesh, he laughed uncontrollably. He covered his abdomen with both hands and collapsed to the ground, unable to straighten up.

"Whoa! Harry! Harry!" Gryffindor was celebrating Harry's victory.

Astoria couldn't help but keep her eyes on Draco, although the corners of his mouth could not control the curvature, and his hands that were clenching the carpet so hard that they turned purple showed his extremely unwilling mood.

Astoria sighed helplessly, her wand slipping from her wide sleeve robe and holding it firmly in her hand.

"Finite Incantatem"

The hand in the sleeve robe waved the wand in small movements, and whispered a spell in his mouth. In the next second, Draco, who had been slumped on the ground in a state of embarrassment, straightened up instantly. The spell failed, and his facial features instantly became ferocious. He jumped up with an angry face and turned around to wave his wand.

"Serpensortia!"

Draco screamed and shouted along with the angry spell, and almost a flash of light and shadow appeared, and a black and slender poisonous snake appeared inexplicably between the two duels.

"Si~hiss..." The viper swung its tail, spread out its body like a water ripple, stretched out its poison letter and slowly snaked in the direction of Harry.

"Hiss...hiss!"

Surprisingly, is it an intimidation tactic? Or something else...

Harry also inexplicably squatted down slightly so that his eyes were level with the poisonous snake, and then... began to moan in a language that did not belong to humans.

The back and forth between one person and one snake on the duel stage made everyone in the audience inevitably shocked.

"Aha! Scarhead, are you pretending to be calm? Just say it if you're afraid!" Draco couldn't stand Harry's crooked methods and stamped his feet dissatisfied to show his presence.

"Shut up! Malfoy!" Harry shouted back dissatisfied.

Astoria was not dissatisfied with Malfoy's failure, because she could somehow understand that Harry was telling the viper to leave.

But the viper was frightened by Draco's threat, and bared its teeth in dissatisfaction, revealing its venom-filled mouth.

The poisonous snake's cloudy pupils were raised, and its cold gaze seemed to be picking out some insignificant food, lingering on the people gathered under the stage.

Finally, it selected its target. Nobuko smelled the scent of prey and stared at a boy in the crowd wearing a Hufflepuff school robe with his vertical pupils.
