Chapter 20 Merry Christmas
Avro said "Ah" and asked in confusion, "Why?"
"They will lead you astray." Percy said sheepishly.
"Um...huh?" Avro said in an uncertain tone, maybe? She was inherently bad.
"You have a cold? Your voice doesn't sound right." Only then did Percy truly believe how weak her body was.
She fell ill within a short time of the cold yesterday.
"I'll go to the medical wing to get medicine after class." Avro is a frequent visitor to the medical wing, but after all, she doesn't have any serious illness and can still tolerate it.
"Take care of yourself," Percy instructed.
Avro pinched her nose, as if many people had said this to her.
"I'm going to class." Avro pursed her lips, leaving him with a shy smile.
Percy slowed down and finally smiled.
Fred and George were playing with the Marauder's Map, and after thinking for a long time they couldn't figure out why Aphra and Percy's names were so close to each other last night.
They got this map last school year. They discovered this map by chance when they were punished by Filch, but they studied it for a long time and only learned to use it not long ago.
After their repeated experiments, there should be no mistakes.
So that means...Percy and Aphra have something going on.
"I don't believe anyone can take down Percy," Fred yelled.
"And they don't have much interaction at all? At least less than us, right?"
"I can't tell you how many times they secretly communicated."
"This is getting fun."
They looked at each other, an inexplicable light flashing in their eyes.
So, throughout November and December, Fred and George used even more methods to find Aphra. After all, they had the Marauder's Map in their hands, so it was easy to find anyone.
"Why are you following me?"
Avro walked towards the owl hut, and when she stepped outside, the snow was slippery, so she had to slow down.
Two tall guys, one on the left and one on the right, followed her shamelessly.
"Are you going to work on new pranks or share new jokes?" Avro asked casually. After all, they had only been doing these two things for so many days.
So much so that she became very familiar with them and understood their strange, albeit occasionally cold, humor.
"are we friends?"
Avro reached out and pushed open the door of the shed, which made her feel warmer, "Of course."
"Then let's ask directly." George was encouraged by Fred and had to speak, "Are you familiar with Percy?"
Avro looked up in confusion and thought again and again, "It should be okay. We chatted a few times and helped me."
"Oh--"
"Then do you think there's anything wrong with him?" Fred asked.
Aphra thought of the book "How to Gain Power" and thought that Percy didn't want them to know about it, lest he would be ridiculed again.
"No, doesn't he always look the same? He has a straight face and doesn't know how to smile." Avro saw her owl at a glance, because it was the most beautiful.
"Hey, baby~" Avro turned into a jingle, and George touched the goosebumps on his body.
Avro called it sweetly, "Send the letter home for me."
Fred had already teased someone else's owl, and the owl fluttered its wings, causing many owls to fly up. The room was a mess, filled with fallen feathers.
George picked up a few, "Do you think animal hair can be used to make polyjuice potion?"
"Try it." Fred clapped his hands, and the two happily followed Avro out.
Avro turned to look at them, "Hey, why are you asking him?"
"We think he's weird, but lately, he's always carrying us around." Fred shrugged.
"By the way, it's almost Christmas, why do you still want to send a letter home?" George asked curiously.
Avro pouted, "My parents are taking my little sister on a trip and won't be able to go back for a while. They wrote to me and Daphne to let us stay at school with peace of mind."
"Oh - Daphne?"
"My other sister is in the first grade of Slytherin." Avro answered all questions and said lazily.
"Is your sister as interesting as you?" Fred asked suddenly.
"From my point of view, everyone is interesting. For example, you are very interesting, but Percy is also interesting in a different way." Aphra narrowed her eyes and smiled, "I have to go back, it's too cold."
"Well, see you later."
"By the way, we will also stay at Hogwarts for Christmas! If you consider us friends, you must come to Gryffindor to have dinner with us!"
"How could you invite a Slytherin here, George?" Fred pretended to complain, and then said, "Come on, we will get some wine, do you want to drink?"
"If there's wine, I'll come." Avro shrugged.
……
Christmas,
Draco dragged the box and left. Before leaving, he confirmed again and again, "You really don't want to go back with me?"
"Yes, I have an appointment." Avro arched her eyebrows and smiled happily.
"Tch...forget it, those who can't go back are the guys without their parents." Draco muttered and walked away.
Daphne loved Pansy and followed her back to her home. Avro sighed slightly, disapproving a little, but didn't say anything.
At night, Aphra held her nose and put on the Gryffindor robe that Fred gave her. She kept muttering "not pretty", "uncomfortable" and "weird", but she couldn't resist them.
Of course, she still managed to sneak into the Gryffindor common room, which might be considered a victory.
Although they had a big meal in the Great Hall in the evening, when they returned to the common room, there was another small Gryffindor party.
In fact, the few who remained were acquaintances.
Fred, George, Percy, Ron and Harry.
Avro blinked and looked at each other.
Percy frowned slowly and seriously, "Why did you get in?"
"Ah... can't you?" Avro asked pitifully, her innocent eyes unbearable.
Percy was silent, which was considered a step back. Fred and George immediately took advantage of it and pulled her to sit down.
They confirmed once again that Percy was really weird!
Aphra was holding Lucky and sitting between Percy and Harry.
"Isn't this Oliver's cat?" Percy realized later that she had brought a cat with her, but the cat looked familiar.
Ron silently moved away from her, huh, cats, annoying.
"Yeah, Oliver had a relative who didn't like cats coming to his house, so he didn't take him back. When he learned that I wasn't leaving Hogwarts, he wanted me to take care of him."
Avro answered matter-of-factly.
A somewhat complicated look flashed in Percy's eyes, "You... have a good friendship?"
"It's okay, mainly because we discovered 'Lucky' together. It's very close to me, so Oliver probably feels at ease."
Percy struggled for a while, then nodded in relief.
Harry also had a complicated look on his face. He looked more troubled, but still said nothing.
