Chapter 179: Daziel, Three Women, Sharing One Room

Daziel stared at Lingsha's shell-shocked expression, her worldview clearly shattered, and the corner of his mouth curved into an almost imperceptible arc.

"I told you, my healing methods are not something you can learn. Do you believe me now?"

Daziel's voice was as calm as an abyss, yet it contained an absolute, irrefutable confidence.

After a long while, Lingsha finally managed to retrieve her consciousness from the extreme sensory storm. She took a sharp breath of cool air, trying to calm the chaotic qi and blood in her body. Her eyes, which had been watery and alluring from the emotional tide, were now filled with an almost fanatical wonder and a desire for knowledge, as if a Pathstrider had just glimpsed the path of an Aeon.

She muttered to herself in a daze, her voice full of disbelief at this subversion of her knowledge.

"Healing through the harmony of yin and yang, the mutual supplementation of energies… there are scattered records of this in ancient texts, but all are vague and listed as forbidden arts, said to be incredibly dangerous, with the slightest misstep leading to the annihilation of both souls."

"But your method… this method of directly using your own purest essence as a conduit to forcefully transmute, and even being able to precisely harmonize and dissolve the foreign, tyrannical aura in my body…"

Lingsha's breathing became rapid, her chest heaving.

"This is simply… a miracle! It completely violates the fundamental principles of energy conservation in alchemy!"

"Even those Disciples of Abundance who serve the Plagues Author and test medicines with their own bodies could never manipulate energy with such finesse, such… utter purity!"

Daziel's eyelids were half-lowered, his tone indifferent but tinged with an innate pride.

"To compare me with those who use the Plagues Author's name to conduct their sordid affairs is to underestimate me."

"My method is pure. It won't have any messy side effects." He paused, his tone suddenly shifting, colored with a teasing and heated suggestion. "However, for it to be effective, the way it's used…"

Lingsha was sharp as a tack; how could she not understand the blatant implication in his words? Her pretty face, which had just lost some of its color, instantly flushed a fiery crimson, as if a sunset had ignited it, burning all the way to the roots of her ears. She bit her lower lip hard, her watery eyes flickering, her heart at war with itself.

In the end, the physician's thirst for knowledge and curiosity unbelievably triumphed over the extreme shame that would have made any other woman flee.

Her voice was as faint as a mosquito's buzz, tinged with a tremor and anticipation she herself didn't notice.

"Then… then that… that pure energy you just transferred to me… could I… could I keep a little of it, as a sample, to take back and… research?"

Hearing this, Daziel's dark eyebrows raised slightly, a flicker of amusement and surprise in his deep eyes. His gaze was intensely predatory as it slowly roamed over her graceful, curvaceous body, finally settling on a certain spot before he spoke a single, meaningful sentence.

"I suppose that's possible. However, if you want to keep the sample, you'll have to… clench a little tighter. Don't let it all flow out so quickly."

Lingsha's face turned so red it looked like it would bleed. She was so ashamed she nearly buried her face in her chest, nodding slightly with a whimper-like response that was barely audible.

Another breathtaking "treatment" came to an end.

Daziel leaned against the headboard, leisurely watching Lingsha straighten her slightly wrinkled and messy clothes. She was trying hard to regain some of her dignity as the Head of the Alchemy Commission, but the lazy, charming look in her eyes that she couldn't hide, along with the lingering flush on her cheeks, silently testified to how intense the events in the room had just been.

"Don't forget what you promised me," Daziel's voice broke the ambiguous silence, a calm reminder. "The matter of the Demon Sword, Yunli's situation—explain it all clearly to General Huaiyan. She has done nothing gravely wrong. Her actions were understandable. Her crime does not warrant death, nor should she suffer any irreversible punishment. Contact me via Jade Token with any developments."

Lingsha took a deep breath, trying to suppress her still-pounding heart and the strange, unfamiliar… emptiness deep within her body. Her voice carried a post-coital hoarseness and softness that could make one's bones melt. "…I understand. Rest assured, Mr. Daziel."

Satisfied, Daziel's lips curved into a smile. Seeing her turn to leave, he suddenly stretched out a long arm and gave her firm, shapely buttocks a light pat.

"Go on, then. Remember, don't spill."

"Ah!"

Lingsha's body went rigid, as if struck by lightning. She whipped her head around, her beautiful eyes, both ashamed and furious, glaring daggers at Daziel. The look was incredibly complex, a mixture of indignant anger at being violated and a strange panic she couldn't comprehend.

"Hmph!" She let out a cold snort from her throat, but ultimately didn't dare to say more. She just moved her somewhat weak and trembling legs and almost pathetically fled the room.

That retreating figure, no matter how one looked at it, seemed utterly flustered.

Daziel watched her silhouette disappear beyond the door before lazily retracting his gaze and turning back to the bed. March 7th was still sleeping soundly, a sweet, contented smile on her doll-like face, clearly oblivious to the earth-shattering "treatment" and the battle of wills that had just taken place in the room.

Even with Lingsha losing control of her voice like that… this girl's quality of sleep is truly astounding.

Daziel shook his head helplessly, reached over to tuck her quilt in more tightly, and sat on the edge of the bed himself. Closing his eyes, he began to regulate his breathing and recover the immense energy he had expended in the recent "treatment."

Time passed silently. The sun began its descent in the west. It was now late afternoon.

As Daziel was in a state of quiet meditation, a slight spiritual vibration came from the Jade Token on his wrist.

He opened his eyes, their light now reserved, and a short message appeared before him.

[Lingsha]: General Huaiyan wants to see you. Seat of the Divine Foresight. Come immediately.

Looks like things are finally coming to a head.

Daziel rose from the bed, his joints letting out a series of crisp cracks as he stretched.

"Ngh… Daziel, where are you going?"

A soft murmur came from the bed. March 7th rubbed her sleepy eyes and groggily sat up, giving a big stretch that revealed the lovely curves of her figure beneath her clothes.

Daziel walked over and, with a natural and affectionate motion, ruffled her pink hair.

"Going to take care of some business. That girl Yunli got into a bit of trouble. I have to go pull her out of it."

"Huh? The people from the Xianzhou found out about what happened last night?" March 7th was suddenly wide awake. She sat up straight, her face full of worry. "Then you have to be careful. That General Huaiyan, I've heard he's lived for a very, very long time. He looks like an old fox, extremely clever!"

"Relax." Daziel smiled calmly, his eyes exuding a sense of complete control. "His granddaughter is currently… hmm, slip of the tongue. I saved his granddaughter. He'll be too busy thanking me. You be a good girl and stay here at the inn. Don't go anywhere. Wait for me to come back."

But March 7th would not have it. She pouted her pink lips, protesting reluctantly. "I want to go too! What if there are too many of them and they bully you? Just like that General Feixiao last time, wasn't she really aggressive towards you…" She reached out, gripping Daziel's sleeve tightly and giving it a little shake, employing her most skillful pouting offensive. "Take me with you, please? Pretty please?"

Daziel pinched her soft little cheek, his tone gentle but firm.

"There will be a lot of people there. It'll be inconvenient for me to act if you're there. Trust me, I'll be back as soon as it's handled."

Seeing his resolute attitude, although her face was etched with disappointment, March 7th understood the priorities and obediently nodded. "Okay, then… you have to come back soon."

"Mm," Daziel grunted in affirmation, then turned and strode out of the Wenchen Inn.

The Seat of the Divine Foresight.

This hall, symbolizing the highest military power and authority of the Luofu, was filled with the oppressive atmosphere of a gathering storm. The entire hall was carved from a single, massive block of lapis lazuli, cold and solemn. The towering pillars were entwined with intricately carved dragon totems. The clan banners hanging on both walls fluttered without a breeze, rustling as if telling tales of a thousand years of bloody conquest.

Daziel's footsteps echoed in the vast hall, clear and steady. The moment he stepped inside, his sharp gaze swept over the few "old acquaintances" present.

With the Martial Exhibition imminent, General Jing Yuan was busy and unavailable. The Demon Sword itself was a gift from the Xianzhou Zhuming to the Luofu, so it was only logical that General Huaiyan, who hailed from the Zhuming, was in charge of this matter.

On the main seat of the hall, General Huaiyan sat like a mountain.

He was old and stooped, but the aura of a general who had long commanded life and death on the battlefield permeated the air, so tangible it was suffocating. His face was grim, and his old but sharp eyes, like a circling goshawk, were locked onto Daziel, as if trying to see right through him.

And behind General Huaiyan, three women of varying postures stood in attendance, creating a rather curious scene.

Lingsha stood at the forefront.

She had changed out of her usual red and black dress into a standard uniform of the Alchemy Commission. Most notably, her signature, proud gradient red-and-white stockings were gone, revealing a pair of fair, slender legs. After all, her previous pair of precious stockings now had several irreparable holes, thanks to Daziel's "treatment"…

At this moment, Lingsha's expression seemed to have returned to its usual calmness, but Daziel's sharp eyes could see the deliberate stiffness in her posture. Her legs were pressed tightly together, muscles tense, as if trying to maintain some sort of balance, or as if she were trying hard to clench something important. When Daziel's gaze casually swept over her, her usually lively and playful eyes subconsciously darted away, an uncontrollable blush instantly flying to her cheeks.

General Feixiao stood diagonally behind Lingsha.

The heroic and valiant female general was still in her military attire, but her beautiful face was now etched with complex, unspeakable emotions. Her gaze was evasive, her head perpetually lowered, not daring to make any direct eye contact with Daziel. Daziel knew with certainty that if he were to release even a sliver of the "Borisin War Chief's" pressure right now, this once-invincible Sky-Faring General would likely go weak in the knees and collapse on the spot.

However, what truly made Daziel's heart sink and his eyes flash was the figure standing at the very back of the line, behind Feixiao—Yunli.

The girl's signature cyan-white short dress was gone. She was still barefoot on the cold, hard stone slabs, but she was now wearing a plain, gray-white inner robe, which looked exceptionally thin and jarring.

What made Daziel's pupils constrict even more was that her slender wrists and ankles were bound with heavy, cold shackles of black iron. The heavy shackles chimed with a cold, desperate clank with her every imperceptible tremble. The sound was like a hammer striking one's heart.

Yunli's little face was as pale as paper, devoid of any color, yet her eyes still burned with an unyielding flame of defiance. When Daziel's figure entered her sight, that flame was instantly drowned by a tide of worry and guilt. Her lips trembled, as if a thousand words were stuck in her throat, but they were frozen in place by a gaze from General Huaiyan as cold and sharp as a knife.

General Huaiyan spoke. His voice was not the thunderous roar one might expect, but was low and deep, like magma flowing slowly in the earth's core. Every word carried a scorching pressure that rumbled heavily in the hall.

"You… do you know your crime?"

No pleasantries, no preamble. He opened with a direct accusation, like a final judgment.

Daziel's expression didn't flicker in the slightest. He calmly met the old, soul-piercing eyes and even raised the corners of his lips slightly.

"I am a bit slow. I do not know what crime I have committed. I would ask General Huaiyan to enlighten me."

General Huaiyan let out a heavy snort from his chest, like an invisible sledgehammer striking the lapis lazuli floor, sending out ripples of sound!

"Yunli broke into the armory and stole the Demon Sword—every single act was instigated by you! That is your first crime!"

"You knew the Demon Sword was strange, yet instead of reporting it, you aided and abetted her, helping her suppress the Demon Sword's backlash, allowing her to take such a malevolent object out of the armory, nearly causing a monstrous disaster! That is your second crime!"

"Afterward, you were even more audacious, hiding the Demon Sword on your person and failing to report it, your intentions are punishable by death! That is your third crime!"

With each accusation, General Huaiyan's voice grew louder, his aura more severe. By the end, he was shouting, every word a knife, every sentence a death warrant! The very air in the hall seemed to be ignited by his fury, becoming thick and scorching.

Before Daziel could speak, Lingsha, who had been standing with her head bowed, suddenly jolted. She took a sharp step forward and bowed deeply to the main seat.

"General, calm your anger! This matter… this matter is not as simple as it appears on the surface. Mr. Daziel, he… he may not be as the General imagines!"

General Huaiyan's brow furrowed into a knot. His sharp gaze instantly shifted from Daziel to Lingsha's face, filled with clear surprise and scrutiny.

"Oh? Head Alchemist Lingsha, what is the meaning of this? Could it be you wish to make excuses for him?" his voice grew cold. "I felt from the beginning that the report you submitted had an unusual bias in its wording."

General Huaiyan's scrutinizing gaze felt like it had a physical heat, causing Lingsha's face to burn, but she bit her lip and met the pressure head-on.

"General, please understand! Sister Yunli breaking into the armory and stealing the Demon Sword was indeed a grave mistake! But from what I know, Mr. Daziel was initially unaware of this matter. He was also sought out by Sister Yunli. And you know… what the existence of that Demon Sword means to Sister Yunli. She… she was just confused for a moment!"

She paused, seemingly struggling to organize her words to absolve Daziel of responsibility.

"As for suppressing the Demon Sword's backlash… that is a great injustice! Sir was, in fact, saving her! The malevolence of that Demon Sword was far beyond imagination. If not for his timely assistance, Sister Yunli's mind would have been completely devoured by the sword, and the consequences would have been unthinkable!"

"The Demon Sword is indeed with him now, but it is by no means with the intent to hide it. Rather… rather, sir wishes to use his own power to study a way to completely neutralize its demonic nature! When I was ordered to investigate the Demon Sword today, I was careless and fell prey to it, nearly losing my mind. It was also thanks to Mr. Daziel's… assistance that a great disaster was averted!"

Lingsha's words were clear and logical, neither servile nor overbearing, yet she was vague on the key points, completely whitewashing Daziel's actions into a righteous deed for the public good.

After hearing her out, the sky-high fury on Huaiyan's face did indeed diminish,, but the suspicion in his shrewd old eyes grew even stronger.

He looked back and forth between Daziel and Lingsha, his expression utterly bizarre.

What is going on? Lingsha, who has always been impartial, objective, and even a bit impersonal—why is she defending this Daziel so… excessively today? She's been by my side for a good while. She despises the nepotism and tangled personal relationships within the Xianzhou. Why would she act so out of character today?

"What Lingsha says does hold some merit," General Huaiyan mused after a moment, his tone softening slightly. "But, breaking into the armory and stealing military equipment is, after all, a grave crime that shakes the very foundation of the Xianzhou! Even if Daziel has merit, it cannot cover his role as an accomplice!"

Just as his words fell, another figure, one no one expected, also moved.

Feixiao, who had been silent all this time, suddenly stepped forward, her voice clear and firm.

Huaiyan whipped his head around, the shock in his eyes nearly overflowing.

"General Feixiao? What is the meaning of this? This case is an internal affair of my Xianzhou Zhuming. The Demon Sword is also an item of the Zhuming. You are a Sky-Faring General of the Yaoqing—"

"I do not mean to overstep my bounds and interfere in this case!" Feixiao stepped forward, coming to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Lingsha, creating a strange tableau. Her voice was firm and powerful. "I just… I just personally believe that Mr. Da—… Mr. Daziel is no villain!"

She took a deep breath, as if having made some great resolve.

"He… he once helped cure the chronic Moon Madness that has troubled me for years! Such medical skill is divine. His medical arts are on par with the second coming of Dan Feng! I ask you, if one's heart is not filled with compassion and kindness, how could one possess such heaven-defying, life-saving abilities? His actions in this matter of the Demon Sword may have been improper, but his intention was certainly not to be an enemy of the Xianzhou, much less to use young Yunli for some nefarious plot!"

While speaking, Feixiao still didn't dare to meet Daziel's gaze, but the protective tone in her voice was in no way inferior to Lingsha's.

This time, General Huaiyan was truly shaken!

Lingsha defending Daziel was already baffling.

But Feixiao? What kind of person was she?

One of the seven Arbiter-Generals of the Xianzhou Yaoqing, her temperament like a blazing fire, upright and incorruptible.

The Sky-Faring General of countless victories and glorious military achievements!

How could she possibly speak up for an outsider to the Xianzhou?

And from what she said, Daziel had also cured her chronic illness?

The Moon Madness? Wasn't that the incurable disease that had plagued General Feixiao for hundreds of years, for which she had sought out famous doctors across all six Xianzhou ships to no avail? And on top of that, the chaotic auras from Lingsha and Yunli after being tainted by the Demon Sword were also suppressed by Daziel… Could it be that this seemingly ordinary Daziel is truly a peerless, hidden medical saint?

General Huaiyan's gaze was like lightning, staring hard at Daziel, then sweeping back and forth between Lingsha's and Feixiao's distinctly different yet equally resolute faces, his eyes filled with a sea of shock and uncertainty.

"You two…" General Huaiyan's voice was filled with a confusion and absurdity that even he hadn't noticed. "You two… are truly… an eye-opener. So am I supposed to continue this trial or not…?"

Lingsha, feeling Huaiyan's gaze, felt a pang of guilt. Her already crimson cheeks flushed a deeper red, and she quickly lowered her head, her voice as faint as a mosquito's buzz. "General, please see clearly. Every word I have spoken is the truth, without a shred of bias."

Feixiao, however, held her pale neck high and declared proudly, "I am merely stating the facts! Mr. Daziel has done a great service to me and the Yaoqing. I… I cannot stand by and watch him suffer an injustice!"

Just as the atmosphere in the hall reached its most bizarre point, Yunli, who had been bound by the shackles, could no longer suppress her inner fear and anxiety.

CRACKLE!

She suddenly raised her head, the shackles on her hands and feet letting out a heart-wrenching clang!

"Please don't make things difficult for Mr. Daziel! Everything is all my fault!"

"I was the one who was obsessed with stealing the Demon Sword! I was the one who pestered Mr. Daziel to help me suppress it! Everything he did was to help me! This has nothing to do with Mr. Daziel!"

The young girl's voice was choked with sobs, yet her tone was exceptionally resolute.

"I stole the sword, I caused the trouble! If you must punish someone, punish me alone! Let me bear all the crimes by myself!"

"I'm begging you, Grandpa! Please, let Mr. Daziel go!"

She cried out, frantically waving her hands, which were already chafed and bloody from the shackles. Her young face was filled with a desperate plea, terrified that her grandfather would truly bring down his wrath and heavily punish Daziel.

General Huaiyan looked at the three women before him, his heart a raging sea of emotions. Lingsha, Feixiao, and his own granddaughter, Yunli, were all… so staunchly defending this man named Daziel. He had lived for so long and seen all sorts of storms, but the scene before him now truly left him feeling a sense of… absurdity and shock.

Who in the world is this Daziel? What kind of magic does he possess to make these women act this way?

He took a long, deep breath, forcibly suppressing the churning emotions in his chest. His gaze, sharp as a torch, finally returned to Daziel, who had been calm and composed from the very beginning. His voice regained its usual steadiness.

"Daziel, let me ask you, is that Demon Sword still on your person?"

Daziel nodded frankly, without a hint of concealment. "It is indeed with me."

General Huaiyan asked again, "Then what do you plan to do with this sword?"

Hearing this, Daziel's gaze swept lightly over Yunli's tear-streaked face before he smiled calmly.

"This sword's demonic nature is profound. To leave it in the world is, after all, a potential disaster. In my opinion, it would be best… to hand it over to Miss Yunli, and let her personally melt it down."

"Now that her inner demon has been eliminated, she is no longer affected by this sword's demonic nature. For her to be the one to end this karmic cycle is the most suitable choice."

Huaiyan stroked his silver beard, a flash of insight that no one else noticed glinting in his deep eyes. After a moment, he spoke slowly, his voice echoing in the great hall.

"Since the evidence is conclusive and this sword is indeed a great problem, then I shall find another fine sword to serve as the prize for this Martial Exhibition."

He paused slightly, his gaze like a gentle yet complex carving knife as it fell upon Yunli. Deep within that gaze was both a grandfather's boundless affection for his granddaughter and the undeniable authority of a Xianzhou general.

"As for my unworthy granddaughter, Yunli…"

Yunli's body tensed, her small hands clenching into fists, her heart feeling as if it had been seized by an invisible hand and was now stuck in her throat. Lingsha and Feixiao also held their breath. The Seat of the Divine Foresight was so quiet one could hear a pin drop, all awaiting General Huaiyan's final thunderous verdict or heavenly grace.

Huaiyan's deep voice rang out once more, like a great bell, shaking the hall.

"Yunli trespassed to steal the Demon Sword and desecrated a forbidden area. This is a violation of the Ten-Lords Commission's iron laws, a crime from which she cannot escape, a great transgression!"

Then, his tone suddenly shifted. "However, considering that although her actions were reckless, they also, by a strange twist of fate, allowed us to foresee the catastrophic hidden danger of this sword, averting a potential disaster that could have swept the Luofu, it can also be considered a meritorious act."

"Now, this sword's legacy must be destroyed by her own hand to complete the karmic cycle and completely eliminate any future trouble. As such, merit and demerit cancel each other out. I will not pursue this matter further."

His gaze was like a torch as it slowly swept over every face in the hall. "Everyone, is my judgment fair?"

"The General is wise!" Lingsha was the first to react, bowing deeply, her voice full of relief.

Feixiao clasped her fists in a salute, her voice clear. "General Huaiyan's handling is just. I have no objection."

Daziel merely smiled faintly and nodded, his composure giving the impression that everything was within his control.

This was undoubtedly a happy ending for all, giving everyone present a tacit way to save face.

Lingsha's tense heartstrings finally relaxed. She took an exquisite brass key from her sleeve and walked gracefully to Yunli.

Click!

A crisp unlocking sound, as if shattering the final shackle on the young girl.

The cold, heavy shackles fell to the ground with a series of dull thuds.

Yunli flexed her chafed and numb wrists, the icy coldness suddenly dissipating, as if her limbs were reborn.

The next moment, she spun around and, with all her might, threw herself into Daziel's warm embrace, her legs wrapping tightly around his waist.

"Daziel, thank you! I knew it, I knew you would come save me! You're the best!" The young girl's breath was filled with Daziel's clean, reassuring scent. The relief of surviving a disaster and her complete reliance on him all melted into her tearful murmurs.

Huaiyan watched his granddaughter's unabashedly intimate gesture, a helpless, wry smile appearing on his weathered face, though the corner of his mouth hooked upwards almost imperceptibly. He sighed heavily, his voice carrying a feigned annoyance. "Enough, enough! You young people can go and catch up."

"I have official duties to attend to. I still need to find a divine weapon worthy of the champion's name before the Martial Exhibition begins."

He paused, his worldly-wise eyes suggestively darting between Daziel and Yunli before adding a meaningful sentence.

"Before the ceremony begins, you two should also… strengthen your relationship."

With that, General Huaiyan clasped his hands behind his back and strode out of the great hall of the Seat of the Divine Foresight, leaving this ambiguous space to the young people before him.

It wasn't until his imposing figure had completely disappeared beyond the hall doors that Lingsha moved gracefully to Yunli's side.

She looked at her junior sister, who was still hanging onto Daziel like a koala, a teasing smile on her bright face. "Yunli, General Huaiyan… is he really that comfortable with you being with an… outside man like this?"

Yunli finally poked her head out from Daziel's embrace, her fair face flushed, yet filled with a small sense of pride. She let out a cute huff. "Hmph, I've been an adult for a long time! Grandpa doesn't meddle in these things!"

Feixiao, on the other hand, seemed at a loss. Her sharp phoenix eyes looked at the smiling Lingsha, then at Yunli clinging to Daziel. When her gaze finally fell upon Daziel, she quickly looked away, her voice lower than usual, filled with an unspeakable awkwardness.

"So… where are we… going next?"

Daziel looked down at the three stunningly beautiful women, each with her own unique charm.

Lingsha's face was still flushed, her beautiful eyes shimmering, looking both angry and pleased.

Yunli was full of excitement and dependence, like a puppy waiting to be fed.

And Feixiao, the once-decisive Sky-Faring General, was now like a startled fox, her eyes evasive, her entire body exuding discomfort.

Daziel rubbed his chin, and after a moment's thought, a meaningful arc spread across his lips.

"I think… why don't we head back to the Wenchen Inn? We all do need to strengthen our relationship!"

The moment the words were spoken, it was as if a stone had been cast into a calm lake. The air in the side hall of the Seat of the Divine Foresight instantly froze, stirring ripples of "ambiguity."

Lingsha's heart skipped a beat, and she didn't dare to meet Daziel's gaze, her heart pounding in her chest. But then she remembered the precious "research material" she had painstakingly collected that morning, most of which she had lost in her panic.

It was a terrible waste! She gritted her teeth and made a decision. That's right! For the advancement of medicine, for the future of the Alchemy Commission, this muddy water… no, this research trip, I must join! Lingsha found a grand-sounding reason for her actions in her mind.

Feixiao's body instantly tensed, like a fully drawn bow. Images, hot and chaotic, that made her very soul tremble, flashed uncontrollably through her mind. A searing heat rushed from the soles of her feet. The brand of a Fox Slave was already deeply seared into her soul. Towards any request from her Borisin War Chief master, she was incapable of the slightest resistance, only… absolute obedience.

Only Yunli, still with a hint of naive confusion, but mostly with complete trust and anticipation for Daziel's suggestion, blinked her clear, watery eyes and nodded vigorously.

"Okay, okay! Big Sister March 7th is waiting for us at the inn!"
