Chapter 27: Noldrei: Kiana's Back to School (Again!)
"This time, I'm counting on you to go back to school again, Kiana."
"........."
Kiana looked at Noldrei in shock, thinking that this guy had used her to fish once, and now he wanted her to do it a second time?
"What if I get killed?"
"You won't die. Even if you only have a single brain cell left, I can revive you. The information hidden in the bodies of us future people is far more than you can imagine." As he spoke, Noldrei pulled a piece of jelly-like flesh off his arm.
He pointed at the jelly flesh and said, "Look, just this little bit is enough to store your entire first half of your life."
"What about the second half?" Kiana suspected that he wasn't planning on letting her have a second half of her life.
"You think your second half of life will be a small number like a few decades?" Noldrei also looked at her in astonishment.
"I... huh?... eh?"
Kiana's head was a little dizzy. She vaguely realized that her second half of life was likely to exceed her imagination.
"Are you sure no one will come to kill me?"
She was still worried, suspecting that this evil god was planning to do something new with her body again.
"If you're worried about that..."
Noldrei extended a tentacle and stuffed a strange piece of meat into Kiana's body.
She didn't pay much attention to it, thinking that it was just another new function he had added to her.
"What is this thing?"
"Oh, this? It's a collection of mutated viruses and bacteria from the next 130,000 years."
Noldrei's explanation immediately made Kiana's eyes pop out.
After they popped out and fell a few times, she got used to it, and picked her eyes up and put them back in.
"You... you...?! You want me to die?"
Kiana trembled all over at the thought of having a 130,000-year-old poison bomb inside her.
She was furious.
"No, that's not what I meant. I meant you can use it when necessary. They definitely wouldn't dare to die with you. As for things like Honkai sickness, they can't even compare."
Noldrei said it very casually, but Kiana wasn't simple either.
She tried to wiggle her body, and quickly wrapped the jelly meat with her own flesh. With a stomach jolt, she spat it out.
With a splat, the jelly meat, covered in unknown liquid, fell to the ground like a dropped ice cream.
Bronya gasped at the sight.
It was unknown how she was able to gasp with a horse's mouth, but she was already doing it.
'These two are becoming less and less human!' Bronya-Rainbow Dash-Applejack exclaimed in horse-like amazement.
"Pick it up!" Kiana pointed at the 'bomb' with a blank expression. Based on her past experience, the things this guy took out were definitely real.
"Is that so? What a pity..."
Noldrei shook his head, picked it up, and swallowed it again.
Raiden Mei buried her horse head, wishing she could forget the scene she had just witnessed.
It was just too disgusting for a horse!
"I think you really want the current humans to die out, don't you?" Kiana suspected that he had wanted to release it himself, but had deliberately given it to her instead.
"Why would I? You've misunderstood me. If I really wanted to, I could kill them all in one night." He responded quite sincerely.
Noldrei didn't think there were many humans he couldn't kill. With the virus, he could definitely kill all of humanity in one night.
He explained, "I mean, you can show them your deterrent power."
"I respectfully decline!" Kiana made an X with her hands in front of her chest. She just felt tired.
So far, she had prevented the future person from causing at least ten human extinction disasters.
"Then why don't you try using this Honkai gem? I think they'll be careful not to let you use it casually. I can inject you with the Honkai-adaptable genes I made."
As he spoke, Noldrei took off the gem that he had just inlaid.
He took off the one that had been broken in Kiana's body, but the broken piece had been repaired when it came into contact with Raiden Mei's.
It shouldn't be a problem to install it back into Kiana now.
"Gem... oh yeah, I didn't even think of that."
Kiana hadn't thought that the gem would return to her body one day, but she didn't think she needed it now.
"Just treat it as a power source. Honkai energy is indeed a very useful thing."
Noldrei thought that Honkai energy was just too useful.
"Is it really okay for me to have this?" Kiana held up the gem in her hand. Even in the night, the gem emitted a dazzling light. It was like a small sun with an unlimited source of energy.
"What's not okay? It was put in your body by someone else anyway. You can try using it a few times, and maybe you can lure out the person behind you."
Noldrei was very satisfied with Kiana's current compatibility with the gem.
"I know, I know. When that time comes, you'll ambush that person again and turn them into a pony, right?"
Kiana thought she was just a disaster.
Three victims had already been turned into ponies. She didn't know how obsessed Noldrei was with ponies.
"As expected of my counterpart, you already know what I'm going to do next."
Noldrei was quite proud. He believed that the ponies he created had far more combat power than humans.
Kiana rolled her eyes. She thought this future person was beyond saving.
It seemed that she could only wait until she knew how to control her body, and then do further research to restore these people to their human forms.
"Don't worry, you're my crown princess. These people are all being kept for you to bestow grace upon!"
Noldrei was talking nonsense with a straight face.
"If you're going to let me bestow grace, don't say it so openly! They've all heard it, what grace am I going to bestow?!" Kiana was speechless. She also took the opportunity to ask a question she had wanted to ask for a while: "How long do you want them to stay like this?"
"Don't worry, it won't be too long. I happen to be going out tomorrow. If you encounter any trouble, don't worry. I have my own way of knowing. Just like how Stand users attract other Stand users, people with gems can also sense where other people with gems are."
Noldrei pointed to the other gem on the crown and said, "Honkai energy is connected through a wave that ordinary people don't know about... Don't worry, I definitely won't let anything happen to them."
Kiana looked at him suspiciously and said, "I have a feeling you're up to no good."
"Don't worry, I guarantee they'll be fine."
Noldrei's serious promise still moved the girl, and she chose to trust him.
"After you go to school, remember to look for anything related to this city. If it really doesn't work out, it's okay to skip class and go out to play. The main thing is to keep Raiden Mei active in this city. If you don't have money, go to the bank and take some. They can't catch you anyway."
"No... you... sigh..." Kiana didn't even bother to mention Noldrei's strange habit of taking money.
Zero-dollar purchases, she had seen plenty of those overseas.
"Also, if you see a girl with pink hair, remember to bring her back. I think she's also a very good candidate for a pony."
Noldrei suddenly remembered something and added.
"Pink hair? You're not going to turn everyone into a pony, are you?"
Kiana was speechless. She felt like she was going to be surrounded by ponies in the future.
"No, no, no, I'm just saying, if you see her, bring her back. If you don't see her, then forget it."
Noldrei didn't want to explain too much. He just felt that the pink-haired girl was very suitable for being a pony.
"Okay, okay, I got it."
Kiana waved her hand, indicating that she understood.
She was already too tired to argue with this future person.
She just wanted to go back to school and find a place to lie down.
"Then, I'm going to go to sleep."
Kiana yawned and walked towards her room.
"Okay, good night."
Noldrei waved his hand, then continued to play with his plastic crown.
He was thinking about what kind of new decorations he should add to it.
He felt that this crown was a symbol of his status as emperor, and he had to make it more luxurious.
As for what Kiana was going to do, he didn't care at all.
He believed that Kiana would be able to handle everything.
After all, she was his counterpart.
And he had absolute confidence in his own creations.
