One little girl and the young man who stared at each other for few seconds. The young man wasn't experienced in people not replying to him, usually he was the one who would hum or nod his head in approval whenever his subordinates were asking for his orders.

But now that he asked Elise if she was alright and the other party was looking at his extended hand then at his face without saying anything he didn't know what to do. Not to mention, her beautiful eyes were curious and naive something he wasn't used to normally people would look at him with fear or suspicion.

Fortunately, Elise got out of her stupor and grabbed the man's hand before standing up. Normal kids around her age would be teary eyed by now but she simply patted her little butt before addressing the strange person in front of her.

" I am alright." She said with a wide smile on her face. The young man was struck by her cuteness but quickly recovered and said," Alright, then. Don't wander around and always look ahead when walking." He simply said few words to her trying to end their conversation.

He knew he couldn't be with her for long because he would have to run into Eleanor. He wasn't worried about her recognizing him but he tend to stay anonymous, a person without a face and controlling his people from the shadows was his life motto. He didn't like to hang around with other people, they may be only a handful of people that he considers more than acquaintance in his whole life.

" Wait!" Elise grabbed the helms of his clothes, he was startled but looked back and asked," Is there anything else?" He said dawning his expressionless face.

People always told him that he looked handsome and in reality he could be considered handsome with a pristine face and attractive facial features, with well built physique but his serious expression and unapproachable atmosphere surrounding him, no one hardly bothered him in real life. He thought it would work with kids too but he knew he was wrong, no matter his serious expression, Elise was unaffected!

" I-i...Can you help me? I am lost." She said looking up at him with puppy eyes. Even a hardened veteran would falter seeing her like this not to mention the young man. He quickly debated whether it was a good idea to accompany her, he had been in this place dozen of times and knew his way around the way not to mention even if Eleanor asked him some question, he practically knew everything history related so he could pass off as a true guide if he wanted too.

Even if he was very smart he didn't realize that though his trail of thought, he was already in on helping her and was just thinking about contingency plans!

" Alright. Come with me, are you with your parents?" He asked.

" No, I came with my grandma and my other grandma. I have two grandmas." She said only realizing now that people that she cared about seemed to have increased a lot, now she had two grandma which was like a dream before she met Samuel.

" O-oh. Where did you last see them?" The young man already knew who she was with and everything but he acted like he didn't know anything about her.

" No, before that I need to find out something." Elise suddenly turned serious which made the other party a little startled. Was this the infamous mood swing that he heard kids possess?

" What is it?"

" I want to know your name Uncle." She said in a cheerful tone but it dealt hundreds upon hundred of damage to the young man who was suddenly labeled as 'uncle'. If it were some other people they might have already disappeared from the face of the earth because he was always called petty and unforgiving by both his opponent and his allies. No one dared to disrespect him like this before!

" Sami told me not to follow strangers but if I know your name I wouldn't be a stranger right? We can be like friends. I have many friends but none of them are people, there is wolves, horses..." She went on and on without caring about the expression of the young man.

" Stop! I can't tell you my name but you can call me Bob." He glanced at the nameplate that he was given and suddenly felt lost. Although, he asked Wilbur to hurry what sort of name was Bob? How could anyone believe him to be 'Bob'? He cursed his butler under his breath before calming himself.

" Nice to meet you Bob, I am Elise." She ignored the bit about him not telling her his actual name. She had recently seen in cartoon about spy being especially careful about their background. She inadvertently considered Bob to be one after all he had similar face and always acted aloof without a smile on his face. It matched the TV character perfectly!

" Well, I will take you around and see if we can find your grandmother. You have to yell when you see her alright?" 'Bob' didn't have heart to argue with her anymore. He only wanted to get rid of her as soon as possible like his life depended on it!

" Okay." Elise perked up and lifted her hand. The young man looked at her than at her hand not knowing what she wanted. Was she hungry? He once knew a stray cat that would nestle around his leg when it was hungry.

He immediately started checking his pocket to see if he had something. Elise waved her hand around, seeing 'Bob' fluster, she went ahead and grabbed his hand without even asking him and began leading him around like she owned this place.

'Bob' almost flinched his hand feeling her soft fingers wrap around his fingers. His mind was too preoccupied to think about anything else, he couldn't remember last time he felt human touch.
