Chapter 395: The Garden Begins to Take Shape

[Chapter 395: The Garden Begins to Take Shape]

After wrapping up the company matters, Linton took Winnie on another tour of the farm.

While it was scorching summer in many other parts of the country by July, Montana was just entering early summer -- the perfect season for growth.

The sun shone brightly, and the temperature hovered around a comfortable 77 degrees Fahrenheit, ideal for the rapid growth of plants, trees, and crops.

As Linton arrived at the farm, his eyes were met with an endless sea of green -- a vibrant and thriving scene where everything seemed to be competing for life.

The construction of the small airport was well underway, with the runway, control tower, tarmac, passenger terminal, and maintenance hangar nearing completion. The project manager assured him everything was on track for a full handover by the end of August, ensuring smooth flight operations.

They walked into the heart of the farm, right within the coverage of the Spirit Gathering Array.

Two thousand acres of fruit orchards and one thousand acres of vineyards were fully planted. Though still young saplings, all the trees had firmly taken root and were growing well, creating lush green canopies. Next to the grapevines, sturdy trellises were already up.

The farm manager, Tuck Ilonka, quickly reported, "Boss, the soil here is incredibly fertile -- perfect for growing fruit trees and grapes. The survival rate on these plantings is an astonishing 99%, with only a handful needing replanting, which amazed everyone at the company. The fruits here are sure to be delicious when they mature."

"That's excellent. This area will serve both as the orchard and as a scenic part of the farm. What about the pastures?"

"The grass is thriving even better. It's already suitable for grazing."

"Good. Arrange for a small number of cattle and sheep to be brought here, but remember: all products, including meat, milk, grains, and fruits, are strictly for our own use. None of it is allowed to enter the market."

"Understood. I'll get on it right away."

---

Further inside, they came upon the crop, suma root, and tea planting zones.

The 200-acre crop field was managed using crop rotation. Of its 100 acres, fifty were dedicated to corn, twenty to wheat, and thirty to soybeans.

The 270 acres of suma root were grown under Linton's direction, planted for a minimum of ten years. To optimize growth space and land use, the workers suggested planting one suma root root per ten square meters. After about five years, half of the plants can be harvested, while the remaining ones, given 20 square meters of space each, continue growing to increase their potency.

Suma root naturally grew slowly; only sparse greenery and small saplings were visible. But his spiritual awareness sensed vibrant life energy thriving in the roots. Clearly, they were well cared for and had taken root deeply in the soil.

Nearby, 30 acres of tea bushes were growing significantly faster and were almost half a meter tall. It seemed possible to harvest a small batch of fresh tea leaves as soon as next year.

They stepped into the inner garden enclosed by tall walls.

The 200-acre garden was already taking shape, divided into three parts.

The outer courtyard was near the main gate and covered about 50 acres. It housed five guest houses and 50 two-story apartment buildings, each with 12 small suites.

Though the outer courtyard, it featured two small artificial hills, five outdoor pavilions, and a half-acre pond. The courtyard was filled with various greenery, creating a beautiful natural landscape.

Further in stood a nearly seven-foot-tall brick wall with red tiles, enclosing the 70-acre inner courtyard.

Upon entering, an air of opulence and aristocratic elegance greeted them.

At the center was a large estate with seven courtyards in series. The innermost was the master bedroom, which Linton had designed even larger than the one at the Los Angeles estate -- about 4,300 square feet. It featured a massive 16x16 foot bed, a walk-in closet covering 2,150 square feet, and a 1,600 square foot bathroom. Inside the bathroom was a super-sized bathtub of over 430 square feet.

Around the estate were five magnificent three-story buildings dedicated to office, reception, conference, education, and storage purposes. Each building was beautifully crafted, with griffins standing guard at the entrances and fire-breathing dragons winding along the rooflines, together creating a majestic and timeless atmosphere.

Below the storage building, they had dug a huge temperature-controlled cellar.

This cellar wasn't for valuables but designed to store the farm's core products -- fruits, grains, wines, and fruit liquors.

Because these goods were rich in spiritual energy, their distribution needed strict control.

Surrounding the inner courtyard were 50 finely built villas serving as private quarters for the women in his harem.

To the east of the inner yard was another, larger lake -- two acres in size -- with a central observation pavilion connected to the shore by a wooden pier.

To the west stood a standard swimming pool and a massive entertainment and fitness center.

Moreover, there were over ten artificial hills, two winding corridors, countless pavilions, and vast greenery -- including transplanted tall trees.

Beyond the inner courtyard lay the 80-acre back garden, featuring two lakes -- one four acres and the other one acre in size.

The garden was decorated with stacked stones, artificial hills, winding corridors, pavilions, rare flowers, and precious trees. The landscape was breathtaking.

What made this garden even more impressive was the seamless blend of classic aristocratic style and modern living conveniences.

All buildings were fully equipped with plumbing, electricity, telecommunications, toilets with flushing, and sewage systems.

For heating, electric radiators were installed throughout, powered by a purpose-built substation with ample capacity.

The garden's construction was in the finishing stages, aiming for full delivery by the end of September.

James van Sweden and Topher Delaney shared that they were currently focusing on perfecting the main buildings within the inner courtyard and fine-tuning the landscaping, striving to achieve top-tier results by handover.

Seeing all this filled Linton with profound excitement and satisfaction.

He was already considering hosting Christmas and New Year's celebrations here this year -- by then, the airport would be operational, and with their private jet, travel wouldn't be an issue.

Staff hiring would need to be arranged well in advance. This time, they planned to source help from overseas, hoping Miguel Herrera was reliable enough to recruit qualified personnel. After three months of training, everything would be ready by November.

---

Winnie was dazzled, her eyes sparkling as she gushed, "It's so beautiful, it's unbelievable." She struggled to find better words.

Even after leaving the garden, she still found it hard to believe. "Honey, is this really our home?"

"Absolutely. This Christmas, all of us will move here for the holidays."

He pointed at the 50 exquisite villas. "You can pick one as your private living space. You can also use it to host family and friends."

Living here had additional benefits he hadn't mentioned -- the whole area was uniquely rich in spiritual energy. Daily life surrounded by this aura would naturally rejuvenate the body, improving health dramatically.

Plus, regularly eating foods infused with this energy would not only strengthen their bodies but also extend their lifespans. Growing up here could even enhance natural ability and constitution.

"Honey, this place is amazing. I can't wait to move in."

---

They spent a warm and loving night at the farm.

The next morning, they boarded their private plane for the flight back to Los Angeles.

Linton had originally planned to bring Winnie along on his upcoming business trip to Asia.

Unfortunately, Netscape Communications was confirmed to go public in August. The lead underwriter, Goldman Sachs, had already settled in and was preparing for the IPO.

As the second-largest shareholder of Netscape, Winnie had too many tasks to manage and vital negotiations to oversee. She simply couldn't leave.

As for the other women, to avoid stirring public scandals and prevent internal conflicts, he decided not to bring anyone else.

So, he'd go alone this time.
