Chapter 58: Chapter 58: Two Nissans, Happy Izuna!
Konoha – Hospital, Outside the Operating Room
"It's actually possible to resurrect the dead…"
"And now, another Uchiha appears. This is really getting troublesome."
Jiraiya stood silently outside the brightly lit operating room, his voice laced with disbelief and concern. Standing beside him were Kakashi, Nara Shikaku, and Uzumaki Naruto, all of them tense and on edge.
"Resurrection?" Naruto blinked in confusion, clearly taken aback by what he had just heard.
Kakashi glanced at him and offered an explanation.
"Just now, in the forest behind Konoha, two Uchiha Madaras used some kind of Forbidden Technique to bring their long-dead brother, Uchiha Izuna, back to life."
"What?!" Naruto's jaw dropped, stunned.
Beside them, Shikaku's eyes narrowed, his thoughts running deep.
'Shikamaru…'
Suddenly, Mitarashi Anko broke the silence.
"Then why doesn't that bastard Madara just resurrect everyone who died in Konoha?!"
Her voice was sharp and angry.
"This Forbidden Technique… I doubt even someone like Uchiha Madara can use it freely," Kakashi said calmly, trying to make sense of it all.
"But he killed Asuma, didn't he? And Guy, Hayate, and Yugao—aren't they all dead because of him?" shouted Yuhi Kurenai, who stood next to Anko. Her voice trembled with sorrow and anger.
Clearly, she bore a deep resentment towards Uchiha Madara—or more specifically, Leo, who now bore Madara's face and name.
The room fell silent again.
Jiraiya, Kakashi, and Shikaku had nothing to say. This situation had grown far too complex to untangle so easily.
Meanwhile, Naruto stood there, thoughts swirling. The idea of resurrection stirred something deep inside him. Could it be possible? Could he see his parents again?
Were they even among the dead that could be brought back?
How exactly did this Forbidden Technique work?

Inside the Operating Room
"You're a descendant of Hashirama?" Madara's gaze swept over Tsunade, his voice cold and filled with warning.
"You'd better not try anything… or else."
Tsunade rolled her eyes at the thinly veiled threat, her hands already preparing the tools needed for the operation. She was about to adjust the eye meridians for Izuna's Sharingan.
Because Leo's medical ninjutsu was lacking, the Sharingan he had transplanted into Izuna couldn't be freely opened or closed. It was stuck in its active state.
Tsunade needed to fix that.
Standing to the side, both Uchiha Madara and Leo—the two "Madaras"—watched closely, their gazes intense.
"If you don't trust me, why come to me for the surgery?" Tsunade shot back, clearly irritated.
"She won't dare try anything with us here," Leo said calmly, glancing at Madara.
The Kotoamatsukami technique Leo had used before only provided short-term control. It would take another three months before he could use it again. The stronger variant he possessed would take at least a year of recovery due to the immense toll it placed on his eyes.
Besides, using such an ability on Tsunade now felt completely unnecessary.
With two "Uchiha Madara" standing by, who could possibly cause trouble?
"Fix Izuna's eye meridians first."
---
Izuna lay on the operating table, looking up at the two Nissans—Madara and Leo—with a joyful smile tugging at his lips.
"Don't resist," Leo said softly, the Sharingan in his eyes flickering into life.
"Okay, Nissan," Izuna replied with trust in his voice.
A moment later, Leo cast a genjutsu, lulling Izuna into a deep, illusion-induced sleep.
That would serve as his anesthesia.
"Surgery's starting," Tsunade said, and Leo turned his attention to her once again.
"If you do a good job fixing Izuna's eyes, I'll help you resurrect someone."
"What? Are you serious?!" Tsunade's eyes widened in shock and hope. She instinctively reached out and grabbed Madara's arm—only to realize she had grabbed the wrong one.
"That was him talking, not me," the original Madara said, brushing her hand away coldly. His expression made it very clear: Don't touch me.
"Fix my brother's eyes first," Leo added with a smirk, arms crossed confidently.
"It's a deal, then!" Tsunade grinned, the promise of resurrection filling her with excitement.
The procedure itself wasn't too complicated—just a matter of correcting the chakra pathways to the eyes. For a medical ninja of Tsunade's caliber, it was simple.
In less than an hour, the surgery was completed successfully.

Later, in the Recovery Room
Madara stayed with Izuna in the ward while Leo was pulled outside by Tsunade.
"Alright, I held up my end. Now it's your turn," she said, eyes locked on his with anticipation.
"You want to resurrect your brother too?" Leo asked knowingly.
"Yes! My little brother, Nawaki!" Tsunade nodded, emotion swelling in her voice. "You can really do it?"
"Yes," Leo replied. "Bring me the coffin that contains his body. I'll take care of the rest."
"Thank you!" Tsunade was so overjoyed, she instinctively grabbed Leo's hands.
Leo blinked, startled by the gesture, then awkwardly pulled his hands free.
"Ahem… Sorry. I got carried away," Tsunade said, feeling a little embarrassed. They had been enemies not long ago—she had even cursed him to choke while eating ramen.
Now, she was thanking him like a savior.
The irony wasn't lost on her.
"You were supposed to gather all the Konoha shinobi. It's been almost three days," Leo said, his expression turning serious.
"They're almost all assembled," Tsunade replied. "Some are still on missions, but we're working on recalling them."
"Then hurry. Tomorrow's the final deadline," Leo warned.
"Yes, we should be ready by then," Tsunade nodded quickly.
Truthfully, they could've gathered everyone much sooner. But many of them had been dragging their feet, still reluctant to follow Leo's commands.
Now, with the possibility of reviving Nawaki, she was willing to comply completely.
"Good," Leo said with finality.

Back in the Hospital Ward
After Tsunade left, Leo returned to the room where Izuna was recovering.
He shared the conversation he had just had with Tsunade with Madara.
But Madara's reaction was immediate.
"No."
Leo blinked in surprise. "What's wrong?"
"Izuna just had surgery. He's not in good condition. He needs to rest," Madara said, glancing at his sleeping brother.
Leo couldn't help but feel a mix of amusement and exasperation.
Wasn't it Madara himself who had set tomorrow as the final deadline just days ago at the yakiniku restaurant?
Now he was backpedaling: Izuna needs rest.
Leo sighed inwardly.
Seriously?
He shook his head, smiling faintly.
Madara, sensing the thoughts behind Leo's expression, narrowed his eyes. "What are you thinking?"
"What do you care?" Leo said, arms crossed, glaring right back.
Suddenly, it felt like the air around them was charged—like sparks were about to fly.
Meanwhile, Izuna stirred on the hospital bed, white bandages still covering his eyes. Though he was pretending to sleep, he couldn't help but smile at the sound of his two Nissans bickering.
He was alive.
He was safe.
And both his big brothers were by his side.
What more could he ask for?
