HOGWARTS:I REALLY NOT DARK LORD

Chapter 49: ch-49

Snape came to the Slytherin common room in a rage.

Generally, professors and even deans seldom go to the college lounge, because it is a space reserved for students to relax, and their presence will make students uncomfortable.

But today's incident caused such a big fuss that everyone thought Riddle had gone crazy.

Why not just invite Snape over and let him experience the strange feeling of having his throne usurped without his knowledge.

"Riddle, I heard you want to be the head of Slytherin?"

Ignoring the others, Snape came in and questioned the culprit, and as for the victim, he just glanced at it and paid no more attention.

Tom thought Malfoy was too noisy and fainted.

Snape was in a bad mood at the moment. In the afternoon, he had worked happily with Tom and earned a lot of points for Slytherin.

Find something for him to do at night!

Could it be that this Tom Riddle was assigned by Dumbledore specifically to annoy him so that he would have no time to target Harry?

"Professor, you are joking."

Tom smiled harmlessly and said, "I'm just a student. How can I become the dean directly?"

"I just thought these purebloods were too annoying, so I came up with this idea."

"Your plan is to take advantage of me?" Snape said sarcastically with a cold smile, "Invisible Dean... You are so arrogant. You want to be on an equal footing with me in your first year. When you are older, shouldn't you be the headmaster?"

puff!

Many students laughed out loud and looked at Tom jokingly, wanting to see how he would respond.

Tom was not at all annoyed by the ridicule. He just waved his hand calmly, "Not really, not really. I just want to study hard and avoid unnecessary troubles. Being the invisible dean is enough for me."

"If that doesn't work, I can just change the name to something else, like... the Uncrowned King of Slytherin?"

The old bat looked as disgusted as if he had eaten a fly.

You might as well not change it.

This sounds more awesome than me.

"Don't use flowery language here. I'm not here to argue with you." Snape waved his sleeves. "Although the invisible headmaster is nonsense, the invisible prefect you mentioned is quite interesting."

"As long as you can win Avery, you will be the invisible prefect of the first grade."

"The other grades can also duel freely and select the strongest person in their grade to become the invisible prefect."

Snape hated Voldemort because of love, but he was still a Slytherin at heart and admired the strong, otherwise he would not have chosen to be a Death Eater.

So he did not object to Tom's proposal and even extended it to all grades.

By the way...this is a good opportunity to find out more about Tom Riddle.

He always felt that this kid was mysterious and he didn't feel any fear towards him at all.

People like this either don't know their place or... they have something to rely on.

Tom Riddle is smart, not an arrogant ignorant idiot like Potter, so it's obviously the latter.

After hearing Snape's arrangement, except for a few current class leaders who were dissatisfied, students from other grades began to get restless. It was simply a gathering of ambitious people.

Without waiting for Tom to answer, Snape took out his wand and waved it repeatedly. Suddenly, all the tables, chairs and sofas in the room floated up, and then piled together against the wall, leaving enough space for Tom and Avery to fight.

"I am the referee of this match. The use of Unforgivable Curses and uncontrollable black magic is not allowed. Ordinary black magic and evil spells can be used. I am confident that I can cure you."

Snape smiled at Tom again. He really wanted to see Tom being humiliated, so he relaxed his requirements.

"I'm fine."

"That's fine with me."

Both parties nodded, took two steps back, raised their wands and bowed.

After the formalities were completed, Snape shouted, "The duel begins!"

Almost as soon as he finished speaking, Avery began to move quickly, muttering to himself.

"Armor protects you!"

"Expelliarmus!"

The transparent protective shield first wrapped him up, and then a red light suddenly shot out and shot towards Tom at a rapid speed.

From this series of actions, it can be seen that Avery, the sixth-grade class leader, is no ordinary person. He definitely has certain dueling experience and is very skilled in casting spells.

In fact, this is also the advantage of pure-bloods over Muggle-born wizards and half-bloods.

They have combat experience and teaching heritage passed down from their parents and ancestors. As long as they are willing to learn, they can be far ahead of others.

This is the gap caused by the knowledge barrier.

Tom raised his wand lightly, deflecting the disarming spell that was coming at him, and then turned the tip of the wand downward.

The flat and hard ground immediately became soft and undulating, and Avery, who was about to launch a second round of attack, stumbled and almost fell. He quickly cast a solidifying spell to try to stabilize the ground.

But Tom's attack had already arrived.

An ordinary barrier spell hit the armor spell, but the effect was unexpectedly good, destroying the protective shield in one blow.

"Ten thousand bullets fired at once!"

Avery pulled away, and more than a dozen red-hot charcoals flew out of the fireplace and hit Tom.

When you are unable to stand firmly, the hit rate of directional spells will be reduced, and using area spells will indeed be more effective.

"The wind is dancing!"

A gust of wind arose out of nowhere, and the turbulent airflow blew the charcoal back to Avery. He was frightened and dodged in a hurry, but was still hit by two pieces of charcoal.

The hot charcoal burned him and made him grimace, and Tom suddenly felt bored.

Is this the level of a sixth grade class leader?

It seemed like it was going well, but as soon as it fell into a disadvantage, it became panicked and didn't know how to deal with the enemy's attack.

Just two simple spells had cornered him.

"Expelliarmus."

The quick, accurate and ruthless disarming spell hit Avery, and the wand in his hand spun backwards and landed in Tom's hand.

Without his wand, a wizard is no different from a lamb to be slaughtered.

"The battle is over."

Snape's face was cold and emotionless as he glanced at Avery who was covering his wound and announced: "Tom Riddle wins. From now on, he will be the invisible prefect of Slytherin's first year."
